I bought the AMR994x a year ago, whilst the equipment works reasonably well, the customer support leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve experienced excellent customer support regarding a tv purchase, but the customer support for the WiFi is the polar opposite. I bought this system to integrate with Starlink should it be necessary in poor SIM card reception. Unfortunately this isnt as straightforward as believed. The interface won’t cooperate and when customer support was contacted I was told that Starlink are a competitor and so they can’t help me. As I said the polar opposite to the help I received from Craig.

I recently updated my Avtex TV to the latest
AV27TS model with freely.
I am very pleased with the quality of the product and the easy installation.

Thank you to Avtex for providing excellent over the phone help, out of warranty product service free of charge when that didn’t work and very quick turn around.

Bought the new Smart Pro with the Freely app on it. And then purchased the AMR105P portable WiFi kit for my van.

So easy to use, and watch live TV on freely without tuning!

Made watching the box much better on the move, especially in some tough signal spots I visit in Kent and Essex!

Would recommend this set up, the only TV worth buying for 12v use! Picture quality is mint too!

Have 2 avtex tvs with 2 remotes in a motor home and now neither work because of the ability to to change the frequency code and havnt been able to sort them rendering them useless

We bought our first Avtex TV in 2012 for our new campervan. We still have it and it still works! Since then, I have upgraded to newer more advanced models and bought a second set for our little boat. After 13 years, I would never consider any other brand now. Why? Unbeatable product and outstanding service. We have used our TVs all over Europe, with a standard aerial, satelite dish and now WiFi and never had a problem so I have come to fully trust the technology. When we have needed help in other countries with settings or issues with the remote control, I call them and speak to a human - no automated screening! Unusual with Tech companies. They have always had the answers and been happy to help me, however long it took. In my view, this trust in their product and back up when needed is worth every penny I've paid for my Avtex TVs - so, I would highly recommend!

This all was carried out and the issue resolved. My TV arrived back within a few days all sorted

I have been associated with Avtex products for quite some years now and have several of their products. Firstly, I have yet to one fail on me, reliability being 100%.
My only contact with their customer servicehas been for advice, questions and service items.
The help and service I have had from both their sales and servive departments has been nothing short of excellent. The staff is aleays willing to go to any length to help an advise and always with the attitude that nothing is ever a problem to them.
In this day and age, it is very unusual to find a company that values and assists it's customers the way Avtex does,

I recently purchased an Avtex Tourer Three (Via the Caravan & Motorhome Club and Prima Leisure) to replace my Snooper Ventura caravan friendly sat nav. Prior to ordering I had a number of queries which Craig / Avtex Technical was able to answer and I was felt reassured that I was making a good choice.

On receipt I have found the Avtex Tourer Three was easy to plan my potential trips, both in the UK and France. The reason for ordering the Avtex Tourer Three was principally due to it being pre-loaded with CAMHC sites and Certified Locations plus numerous other Points of Interest (POI's) many of which are caravan related and essential when touring with a twin axle caravan. It also includes the ability to set-up the caravans weights and dimensions which should reduce the potential of being taken down unsuitable roads.

Note:- from my previous experience with my Snooper Ventura I would always recommend checking with the caravan site and Google Maps to ensure the route is indeed suitable for taking a caravan!

I must also thank Craig / Avtex Sales who I subsequently spoke to regarding the purchase of an additional dashboard mounting pad and an Avtex sat nav mounting bracket. Craig took my details and offered to send these free of charge which I was not expecting! They actually arrived the following day!

Based on my experience to-date I can only say the service given by Avtex when I have contacted them both prior to purchasing and subsequently contacting them has been exemplary. As far as the Avtex Tourer Three is concerned, for anyone looking to purchase a caravan friendly sat nav I would highly recommend giving it serious consideration - you will not be disappointed!

Regrettably, I encountered a disheartening experience when seeking assistance with AMR 104x Wi-Fi.
The call handler’s approach was unfortunately dismissive and undermined my confidence, attempting to make me feel inadequate while simultaneously providing no support.
I sincerely hope that the representative does not represent Avtex as a brand, as it wouldn't be a positive reflection of the company.
I believe that the individual in question requires additional training in customer service. I intend to contact them again on a different occasion, in the hope that they are not the sole representative offering technical support or that the situation has improved.

The customer service was 1st class when I rang to ask them something . We have always had Avtex tvs in caravan or motorhome and would never buy any other brand and the excellent service from Clarys and Craig Vardon has reinforced our trust in the brand.

Just purchased a Axtex 27 with sound bar, what an easy set up process, works straight out of the box. I would set up at home before first trip. Works with caravan and motorhome club wifi. Picture quality outstanding sound very good, would recommend.

Best TV & Wi-Fi for campers!!

Bought our products from Perthshire Caravans, and I have to say the performance of the Wi-Fi is impressive! It's very easy to use, you must be a numpty to get this wrong.

Cannae wait to go away in the van next week, beer, sports on & feet up!

I have had my Avtex tv for about 8 years was told it could can be updated but never really worked properly. So decided to get an Areal. You vertically have to be sitting on the transmitter before it works. When I tune it in I get 40 channels sometimes I get 140 channels and lots of radio channels but when I select what to watch the picture pixelates all the bloody time. When I have been lucky enough to get it to tune in and start watching after a while it will just start pixelating for no reason. Total waste of money.

The support I have had from Craig in customer service has been exceptional, I have dealt with Craig and Avtex for many years and always found them very helpful

Needed a new remote control for lost soundbar one. Rang parts to purchase and asked for postal details....you will receive in a few days absolutely no charge....I was stunned in this day and age.... customer service is exceptional and I have told so many people about my experience and I have to say it arrived as promised 2 days later....well done Avtex....a proper customer experience with a Very happy customer...guess where my next TV is coming from!!!!!!!! Had a real problem getting Internet connection. It was constantly saying" connected without Internet" we spoke to Craig Mack over a few days and it turned out the router firmware was out of date. Craig went over the top to make sure we had Internet before we went on holiday. Can't thank you enough Craig. Cheers.
