Just want to say a huge thank you to all the Attwoolls after sale staff. They have worked tirelessly to solve an issue with my air awning and always kept me up to date. I will now always go to Attwools because I’m confident that if something goes wrong, they will do their very best to resolve it. Chris

In this day and age, we’re all exposed to many options to buy what we want when we want and a huge number of shop fronts to choose to spend our hard earned money.
Rarely do you get that warm shopping experience when buying anything online, it’s a very sterile process with very little or no human interaction.
Gladly, when it came to contacting Attwoolls, I was immediately put at ease when the friendly voice on the other end of the phone was able to help me. They went above and beyond to find a satisfactory resolution. I am more than happy to recommend this company to anyone considering purchasing from them, you will be looked after, and you will be supporting a genuinely family run business and that should make you feel warm and fluffy inside. Went in to see and hopefully buy a tent I’ve been interested in. After looking around the store and unable to located the model, I went and asked at the help desk. I was given one word answers, no help offered to my questions etc. really bad experience and I will take my business elsewhere. Sad because I’ve always purchased our camping gear from here. It has really gone downhill with the sales staff over recent years.

We brought an Vango air awning, we were pleased with delivery and packaging and ease in putting it up. However had a couple of set-backs, we contacted After sales and Douglas answered my emails quickly and was extremely helpful cannot thank him enough , he must be a valued Employee he quickly sorted things out... update 19/04/2024
The Vango awning is absolutely Brilliant it has stayed up during the storms 13/042024 we had at the caravan site were we are situated a lot of people lost there awning we were very lucky so pleased we brought this..

Bought a tent from these guys and after it was delivered I realised there was a bundle offer package for the same tent and accessories elsewhere, I emailled Attwoolls informing them of this and they honoured the deal i'd seen elsewhere as a special gesture. Amazing service will but more camping gear from these guys!

We travelled 140 miles from Manchester to buy a tent from this marvellous company. An impressive range of tents and equipment on display across 3 showrooms, lots of choice, helpful and well briefed staff on hand to advise, easy to find the place, big car park. Includes a popular coffee shop with cakes, drinks and light meals. Good deals available when making serious purchases. We could have bought over the internet but, for a specialist purchase like this, it is definitely not recommended! I found a better range of goods at Attwoolls than any where else in the UK.

Just received a sun lounger that arrived broken. You can tell it was a return by someone else they just sent out again to me. Would cost me money to post back so I've now had to fix the lounger myself but it's not a perfect fix.

Went to buy a porch awning for our motorhome. Sophie was just lovely and very knowledgeable. She was also very patient with slightly grumpy husband and helped us decide on a suitable awning for our needs. Will return to Attwoolls for further purchases even though its 90 minutes drive from us.

I found out about Attwools after watching many of their informative videos on YouTube. I've placed a few orders with Attwools, been extremely satisfied each time, also found yheir advice good when answering questions about products.

Popped in for a massive tent and they advised me it was overkill so bought a smaller one. Really love that when companies take service over greed.

Great choice of products to choose from and staff are helpful and very knowledgeable. The Vango Hexaway awning we purchased is perfect for our needs and we enjoyed using it, but we found it had a couple of faults in the stitching. After emailing to explain the problem I had a speedy response from Chris and a replacement of the awning was offered. As we live some way away from the store Chris helped us by putting up the replacement awning in the showroom so we could check it first. We were also able to pick up other accessories at the same time. This was outstanding customer service and very much appreciated. Thank you.

Fantastic service. I bought from this company because I'd seen Mike Attwoolls really informative videos on YouTube. I found what I wanted online, (an air tent plus accessories), and emailed them. Mike responded and did his best to match the prices. I also bought sleeping mats and an awning. This is a proper camping specialist with a shop and knowledgeable staff, selling at online prices: I am delighted to be dealing with them.

Have to say these guys have been great. Anna in web sales has been incredibly helpful, if carling made customer care it would be called Anna….

this was my first visit to the shop I had checked out some tents online and watched some of the you tube videos which were very useful but wanted to see them so visited the Shop, really good selection to choose from, I'm glad i went because what i chose is different to what i was going to get . staff were super friendly and helpful will definitely return it caters for all your camping needs and those things that you don't need but want! love it . Having returned home we put the tent up it took 20 mins obviously not as quick as mike but easy

Avoid

Went to buy a new Calor gas bottle. Male staff member at the center counter said they wouldn't sell me a full gas bottle unless I had an empty one to exchange even though their own video says you can buy one, when I asked if there was anywhere else I could buy one I was told no.
Unhelpful stuck up can't be bothered attitude from this staff member means I will never spend one penny in this store ever.
Went to B&Q and bought a full gas bottle no problems. Attwoolls needs to teach customer service skills to their staff and stop false advertising. Then again I couldn't give a damn what they do.

Ordered an Outwell Katla heater on Mon evening. It arrived 8:00am Weds morning, well packaged. Excellent service

Recently bought an awning from attwools, pitched it overnight and realised I had bought the wrong item. Rang the manager who said take it down and come back. When I returned a week later, Doug was not in store, so Chris took control. I selected the perfect replacement and I am delighted with it.
So many thanks to a fantastic team at attwools for solving the problem.
By the way I've been back to purchase more items and thank Doug. Won't be going anywhere else now. 👏👌

This company's customer service is just outstanding. I needed an air awning with bedroom annexes urgently and this was the only company that had them in stock but they were 3 hours away from me. I decided to drive to them the same day to pick up the products but the drive took me 5.5 hours due to a crash on the M4. This means I would have arrived after they closed. No problem for them though, they stayed open especially and even let me have half an hour to walk around the shop and gather other bits I needed. They couldn't have been more accommodating. Their knowledge of the products they sell is superb and every question I asked was answered and resolved. Will definitely go back again

I was looking for a mesh vestibule for our Kampa Bergen tent, which has since been discontinued by Kampa / Dometic. Could not find it anywhere except Attwoolls, however I needed to check compatibility with our tent as they were from different years. Connor replied to my email query to confirm the vestibule would fit, and I received it two working days later after my order and it fits ... I am a satisfied customer
