WOW What a terrible company new day and Argos is ... you get sent around the houses to just the the thing off... I have never had to work so hard to talk to someone and just got automated run around ... the thing is it says after 7 pm " sorry the office is closed" well if you only have automated and you never get to speak to a person what on earth is the point of that...

Today I spent a whole afternoon trying to purchase a washing machine on a buy now pay later, using the new Argos Pay app.
After 3 hours of setting, resetting passcodes, usernames, passwords and numerous one time passcodes being texted to me, I was still unable to buy.
What an absolute holy shambles! I will be deleting the app and never attempting to make a purchase from here again.
Worst payment method
Worst payment method. It's very hard to make a payment against Argos pay credit. It's not accepting my EU revolut, which works fine everywhere in UK. It's a nightmare to login even to Argos pay. They have issued so many accounts number for same person. Not going to use them again, once my current credit is complete. Currys flex is much better option than this Argos pay.
Argos Pay/New Day is ridiculous!
Since migration to Argos Pay/New Day, I’ve experienced nothing but hassle! With the Argos Card, I was able to manage individual BNPL purchases and chip away with payments - it seems this is no longer an option - I will be able to clear the balance on my BNPL purchase once it expires which is ridiculous. Once I have paid off the balance, I intend to close the account.

Will never use this card again. They don't give you the heads-up to say the plan is coming to an end. I got hit with over £200 in interest because I didn't understand the new app nor was I warned about the plan coming to an end. This is probably the end of Argos now.

* IMPOSSIBLE to get through to any human at customer service, I literally recorded a call of being looped back no matter what option is chosen. I’ve gotten through ONCE via chat and phone.
I will be closing my account ASAP. And it’s such a shame as Argos customer service used to be genuinely amazing.

Shocking shocking shocking!! I didn’t get a statement for May and I need it so I can make the payment. Nobody replies on chat and I cannot get through to an actual human when calling. The way plans are split is nothing short of ridiculous and it’s embarrassing anyone thought this could be an upgrade. I will close the card as soon as I pay it off. Shocking…Can’t believe I’m having to chase to make a payment so it doesn’t affect my credit score. What an absolute joke

Argos credit card was brilliant , now it’s gone over to Argos pay , it’s horrible, can not get any statement from December, their statements are so confusing , absolutely hate it , Argos credit card app was brilliant, you could see what you bought, when you bought it, when you bnpl ended on this thing you can not make it out, horrible
Since changing from argos card services…
Since changing from argos card services to argos pay absolute shambles. No separate facility for paying down BNPL which I have used successfully for Argos products. Once balance paid off I will not be buying anything from Argos through this new system, will be shopping elsewhere!
The worst experience ever
The worst experience ever. I used to love the old Argos card. Since it’s changed I don’t. It’s not easy to use if you are partially sighted. I have 3 cards saved and 2 of them keep saying declined even though there’s money on them. There’s a way to link to the bank first which has me feeling suspicious. Not happy.

Argos pay app is a disgrace of an app. Iv had my Argos card for many years and loved it but now its going in the bin after i pay it off. Argos will go under for treating customers like this.

Been with Agos for years no dept always paid ,till now app dosent work ,tryed to pay no hope took nearly 25 minutes to talk to some one to pay ,payed in full no dept, Been told now account is closed this will now effect my credit to finance ,I will not shop at Agos again for anything ,there is no help this time ,they couldn't care .

All I can say is good luck everyone! If you don’t pay in full straight away your screwed they will cut card off and all threats come your way, cancel your card asap and get rid of it that’s what we did
