This is the first time I have placed an order with Andertons, and was very impressed by the professional way they handled my order, both in the speed and method of delivery, and up to date communications. My guitar ( squire 60s thinline tele) was delivered having been set up correctly and is a pleasure to play.

Good range , quick delivery, well packaged

Terrible! Ordered a PA bundle 'next day' delivery for an important gig. Didn't arrive next day, but OK, arrived day after that. However, only one speaker delivered and that was seriously damaged by the courier service. After repeated messages from the courier for new delivery dates the missing speaker failed to be delivered, after waiting in all day for several days. Because of 'no PA' we had to cancel gig. Eventually delivered late, then had to arrange for return and replacement. I paid a bit more for a different manufacturer's product as now didn't trust the robustness of the original OEM, although would probably be OK if handled correctly. Wouldn't trust Andertons ever again. Here's an idea, rather than making fancy product test videos why don't you get your delivery service sorted? Poor show.

I left a message on my order requesting that delivery be delayed by 3 days as I was due to be away. I followed it up by a confirmatory phone call. I was assured that delivery would be delayed. However it wasn't. Luckily I had returned early and was able to accept the delivery.

I have the greatest regard for Andertons Music, as they have helped me so much in the past, so my score was almost a 5 star one, except for the slightly disappointing sight of a dent in the front edge of my new bass cab, when I removed it from an 'undamaged' box.

I needed the cab for a gig at weekend, and with no replacement in stock, I decided to accept the situation.

I looks like this happend at the manufacturers when it was first packed (assuming it had not been unpacked at any time at Andertons, as I'm sure they would have spotted it).
Anyway, I'll live with it.

All that said, I will still choose Andertons over any other music retailer for future purchases, as they are genuinely that good.

Simple and easy ordering. Product arrived as specified. Will use again. Good comms from courier too.

Everyone at Andertons is very helpful. Joe really stepped in and sorted us out during our short visit to Guildford. He’s THE man.

Friendly and prompt service

Andertons has been my go to music shop since the 70’s, great stock, good pricing and friendly helpful staff.

The D'Angelico Premier DC Mini is a beautiful instrument, and was being offered at a very good price. It was ordered by mail order and was delivered on time. I was surprised how little packaging, however the instrument was in perfect condition. Very happy with the purchase.

I bought a microphone and it arrived quickly and with decent tracking. But I didn't like it so I decided to return it.

Andertons complies with all the consumer laws including distance selling regulations. But they comply as maliciously as they possibly can. The email they send you makes it clear that if you don't spend the maximum sending it back, they won't refund you the whole amount. It's full of carefully worded threats about items getting damaged in transit etc.

They sent the mic in a box in a box in a box that was massive overkill. My only choice was to send it back in the resulting massive box which cost me more than it should have.

I sent it back and they didn't even have the courtesy to acknowledge receipt of the return. I have to watch my bank account for the refund and contact them if it doesn't appear within two FULL working weeks.

I try to buy from UK businesses where possible but next time I'll just buy from Amazon. Their no-questions-asked return policy makes Andertons look like a joke.

I could forgive Andertons' tightness if they hadn't driven every other UK music retailer out of business. I doubt Lee will ever read this but if he carries on with this comically old-fashioned returns process, he's going to find himself cursing Amazon the same way GAK and PMT curse him.

I purchased a second keyboard (Behringer Poly D synthesiser) online from Andertons. The price was competitive and the free delivery (via DPD) was a bonus. I was regularly kept informed about the delivery status and it arrived on time. It was packaged well and undamaged. Overall, a great experience. Thank you, Andertons.

I purchased the Alvarez Laureate LD70E in Daybreak as a cheaper alternative to the Martin D28 for going out to do local concerts. I am very happy with my purchase and the LD70 actually performs better than the Martin D28, it's better sounding and has a far better playability and action.
The guitar arrived next day, so was very pleased with the transaction.
