Ho prenotato una visita guidata al Palazzo Reale di Madrid tramite Amigo Tours al costo di 35 euro, ma è stato impossibile partecipare. Nonostante l’orario d’ingresso indicato sul biglietto fosse le 12:00, all’arrivo ci hanno fatto mettere in una lunghissima fila sotto il sole, insieme a tutti, compresi quelli senza alcun tipo di biglietto prenotato.
La guida stessa ha documentato la situazione con un video, e diversi partecipanti, me compresa, hanno rinunciato per l’impossibilità di entrare in condizioni simili.
Ho scritto all’agenzia chiedendo un rimborso, dato che le condizioni promesse non sono state rispettate. Dopo due settimane di silenzio, mi hanno risposto negando qualsiasi responsabilità, affermando che il tour si è comunque “svolto” e quindi non spetta alcun rimborso.
Servizio clienti assente, zero attenzione verso il cliente e nessuna volontà di risolvere i problemi. Sconsiglio vivamente di affidarvi a questa agenzia: se qualcosa va storto, vi lasciano completamente soli.

Paid for a tour, due to transport problems, arrived at 8.55am for 9am departure but there was no one there. No staff, no bus. They had left and despite me messaging them i was coming. And now, they are not relying to my request for a refund
The only response I got, they were sorry I missed the tour, not that they didn't pick me up and that they'd generously offer to book the tour again for an additional 23 Eurostar! Their priority is obviously making money not customer service and I would not recommend them to anyone unless you stick to their protocols at your own risk and don't expect help
Sagrada Familia
As we missed buying tickets early to visit the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona a guided tour with Amigo Tours was the only option left for us. Well, we payed the double amount of what you are charged normally when you book a tour early enough, but at least we didn‘t miss out this highlight!
Everything turned out ok and the tour guide Miguel was good. The worries i had spending 200€ after reading all those negative reviews were unjustified in the end!

whilst waiting for bus in the rain a guy who looked homeless approached bus who i thought was begging for money, he was in fact working for Amigo, then 2 more jokers appeared also looking homeless who were in fact bus driver and tour guide (Roberto). Roberto was the rudest and most arrogant guide I have ever experienced. we paid for boat cruise at the falls and Roberto advised us he had no knowledge of this and asked for cash only or we could not board boat, what a disgrace. he then took over driving of bus at night in the rain and drove at dangerously hign speeds, please please listen, do NOT go anywhere near these guys if you value your money and more impotanty your life.....

It sent several messages containing the meeting place for Hiroshima's day tour. However, the photo link (in the message) looks old & unclear - see attached photo. The photo has no landmark at all. The mesage also did not state the bus Berth number.
The day before the tour, i intentionally went to check that meeting place. The public transport staff for streetcar said its not clear. When I checked with the private tour staff, they told me it's that area.
When I texted the guide using their app. I only get an automated response.
On that morning, my husband & i searched the entire area. We did not see anyone holding the 'amigo sign'. When I called the numbers stated by Klook ,both numbers are unresponsive
Very dishonest and poor handling of this issue. It spoilt my entire day as I had to plan that day itinerary quickly so that I don't waste that day.
Amigo reported false information to Klook. And Klook only wants to do a 30% refund in the form of Klook cash.
Goodness sake, they should give full cash refund
Update: after posting this review, amigo auto blocked me. This shows that any negative posts might not be seen by others and users will not be able to contact amigo anymore. Be cautious!
Avoid them at all cost
Activity was for 16 hours just the drive, we reached Niagra falls and then after 1 hr came to know that the bus broke down and the guide had no info on what happened or how long it would be we had to wait another 2-3 hrs and they did not even offer to provide any water, food or some sort of compensation we reached back after 12 am the next day most of our plans had to be cancelled on the way back of 8 hours we were told we will stop for dinner and toilet break and they did not even do that. Our stuffs were in the old bus and the guide couldnt care less about it and he had no answers for us. told us to buy new charger from shop. even the providers does not respond to any of your questions when trying to contact them. Have been on many trips bt this is the worst experience from provider Amigo tours. We were rushed till we came to know about the bus being broken down and we reached home the next day and had activities planned that had to be cancelled money and sleep wasted. Tried calling the provider but nobody pick up no support was given by the provider or the guide. Requested to stop early but was refused without even discussing with other passengers initiallt even told us it could take another 8 hrs for new bus to come from New york but even then they didnt give any proper answer. Avoid Amigo tours USA non responsive, the waterfalls were amazing but that would have been the case regardless of the provider. High price for just the transport from NYC to Niagra and nothing else.

Me preocupa no poder reservar. De hecho, ya no hay disponibilidad por la mañana. ¡Había disponibilidad antes y mi reserva no fue liberada!
Me comuniqué con el soporte de Go City y me pidieron que lo intentara nuevamente después de 24 a 48 horas. Hice esto pero el problema persistió. A estas alturas, después de una semana, ¡el problema continúa! Go City dice contactar con Amigo Tours (MADRID).
Necesitas liberar los espacios relacionados con mis pases.
¡Realmente les pido a sus amigos que me ayuden a resolver esto! ¡Somos un grupo de seis y estamos decepcionados con todo lo que está pasando! El soporte dice que es porque las ranuras no están disponibles. Esto no debería pasar. Si Go City vende el servicio, debe garantizar la disponibilidad de vacantes. Es inconcebible que haya un espacio disponible, pero no es un espacio para quienes tienen el pase de la ciudad. Esto es muy triste y una grave falta de respeto al consumidor.
En este contexto, les pido, con mucho respeto, que nos ayuden. Ya no sabemos qué hacer.

Don't book any tours with Amigo Tours, they don't return calls, nor emails, nor chats on their own website...not reputable....I have called, emailed, chat with no response from them...Remember ..Amigo Tours r not friendly...not reputable...they have. N̈ot return my call ...nor emails, nor chats from their own website...do not book with Amigo Tours.
Absolutely terrible experience – avoid at all costs!
I booked a guided tour for two at Park Güell through Amigo Tours, but the guide never showed up. We waited at the meeting point with about 30 other confused and frustrated people, and no one from the company contacted us or gave any explanation. I sent multiple emails requesting a refund, but I never received any response.
The park manager told us this wasn’t the first time Amigo Tours had failed to deliver — clearly, this is a recurring issue. It’s disgraceful that a company like this is allowed to operate. They ruined the visit for dozens of people and wasted a day of our vacation.
To make things worse, their website looks like the official one for Park Güell, but it’s misleading and feels like a scam. This was a complete rip-off. Do yourself a favor and book directly with the official site — Amigo Tours is not to be trusted.

Absolute scam
Booked the Park Guell tour in Barcelona for 7 people on 03/05/2025 at 14:00. Less then 24 hours till tour they’ve sent me a message saying that all the tours are cancelled. I texted them on WhatsApp for clarification but of course there was no reply. When we went to the meeting place, we met a bartender who explained to us that all Amigo tours to Park Guell got cancelled and that it has been happening for two weeks now. The bartender gave me a phone number of Amigo tours representative, but she did not pick up the phone when called. When I called call center, the girl on the phone said the tours are cancelled because off the blackout that happened previous week in Spain as if it has anything to do with it. She also said they cannot help us in any other way rather than saying sorry. I guess “sorry” costs 200+ eur these days. An absolute scam, could not give a lesser recomendation for this company.

Our guide, Tomas, was extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan history at Chichen Itzu and a pleasure to be with throughout our 8 hr tour. Bus and driver were also very nice.
Not an Ethical Company -- Be Careful
I had to wait many years before I could travel to Tula. I booked a trip many months ago with “Amigo Tours” through Viator (trip title "Teotihuacan Early Access & Tula Small Group Guided Tour"). Then a short while before the trip Amigo Tours I got an e-mail from the, saying that they cancelled it, and I had to contact Viator to tell Viator that I wanted to cancel. That seemed strange. When an operator cancels, it is them that is supposed to contact Viator – unless they do not want Viator to know that they cancelled the trip. I verified this with Viator. I suspect that they did not have the number of people that they wanted booked for the trip. They called it a "force majeure" reason in their unfortunate note to me. When I asked for more details, they did not provide any. I’m sure if they read this post on the Viator site (or elsewhere), they will try to put some reason to make it not look like they are the unethical company that they certainly appear to be.
Now, you would assume I would have received my refund. But no, they did not do what they should have with Viator. I had to call Viator to get my refund. Viator customer service was great – I only wish Amigo Tours had a shred of the professionalism, courtesy, and ethical standing that Viator does.
For the sake of your own happy travels, be very careful before booking any trip with Amigo Tours.
By the way, due to their unethical behavior, I will now never get to Tula in my lifetime. Thanks for destroying something for which I had waited for years, Amigo Tours.

Mexico. Paid for a hotel pickup, they was confusing; did not explain well. We paid more for the pickup, due the hotel with Viator was wrong; They left 6 of us behind; The driver did not contact us; I msg him, but he did not msg us back; After the fact; they explained we was to walk 2miles to him at 4am in Mexico; That was not explained prior; our resort didnt transport at that time nor would they of. Our manager of the resort stated that was not safe to walk there; They refuse to refund us; have to do a bank dispute;

We booked for Full Tokyo: Meiji Shrine tour for our family of 4 via Klook app for $380+. Got a confirmation message and email. We showed up at meet up Point in front of Diesel Store Ginza 20 mins prior to booking time. No bus were there, we tried to contact their Tour Guide/Support but there were no answer whatsoever. Trying to contact our bank regarding this scam nonetheless high chance we cannot get the money back. Wish we used PayPal in the first place. Buyers beware of this scam via Klook. 🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑

Please don’t use this company!!! We booked a 2 day city pass that includes all the attractions in Barcelona. We had to pre book some tours which were fuelled park and sangria Família.
My daughter hurt her ankle in the parks so we called ahead for the next tour to say we wouldn’t be able to take part in the tour and asked if we will be charged as we have already paid for the tour.
(We could have attended and not took part of this would have been the case.)
We were assured in the phone this would not be the case and the fee was included in the go city pass. The lady instructed us to download the app and message the guide to let them know. We got a reply acknowledging our apologies and even sending their best to my daughter.
The next day they charged us £70 for the cancellation. They are refusing to reimburse us even thought they got the fee from Go City.
Appalling company. If you can avoid please do. We had no choice as the only way to access these tours what this operator.

I booked with them through civitatis. They never show up at the meeting point and didn't offer a solution. We asked to go in the next turn so they did it, but we almost miss the second one: they provided the wrong pick up point (I asked for a street and they gave me a google maps street view link, we were there but the guide was on the next block). The bus doesn't have their logo, and they don't tell you anything about how to recognize them. The guide doesn't contact you if they can't find you, they just leave you. We finally got the second tour because I send them a message every 5 minutes to check driver location, bus color and number, meeting point, guide description, etc. But they will send you a ton of messages to make you pay everything before the tour. They never forget the money :)

I was one block away from the location and Amigos Tour refused to pick us up even though we were on time. I tried to catch up to my tour guide and they also refused. It was a horrible experience they had zero customer service etiquette.
