I should have read the reviews before ordering. Ordered two sweaters, wore them once and after one cold wash they were covered in extreme pilling (could throw them away)

Very disappointing.

I extremely disappointed with my experience with ALO Yoga and would strongly recommend that customers think carefully before ordering, particularly if they may need to return something.

I returned a pair of trousers on 21 August 2026, following ALO’s own return procedure.

The return was sent using the authorised return process and DHL tracking clearly shows that the parcel was delivered.

Despite this, I still have not received my refund.

I have contacted ALO customer service repeatedly and have been given the usual polite apologies and assurances that they are “looking into it”. After weeks of waiting, I was eventually told that their warehouse had apparently not received the item.

I provided the DHL delivery evidence showing that the return was delivered.

ALO’s latest response is now asking me to provide the original physical receipt from the parcel shop, despite the fact that I have already provided courier tracking confirming delivery.

This is incredibly frustrating. I have returned the item, DHL confirms that it was delivered, yet I am still without the product and without my money.

What makes this particularly disappointing is that ALO presents itself as a premium brand, and the customer service experience has been nowhere near what I would expect from a company operating at this price point.

I completely understand that parcels can occasionally go missing or that warehouse errors can happen. What I don’t understand is why the customer should be left out of pocket while ALO investigates an internal warehouse issue.

I have now formally escalated the matter and given ALO until 11 September 2026 to confirm that my refund has been processed. If this isn’t resolved, I will be taking the matter to my bank/payment provider and pursuing the appropriate consumer dispute channels.

My advice to anyone considering ordering from ALO: be very careful and keep absolutely every piece of evidence relating to your order and return.

This isn’t a complaint because I simply changed my mind about the product. This is a complaint because the return was sent back correctly, the courier confirms delivery, and I am still waiting for my money weeks later.

For a premium-priced brand, this level of customer service is simply not good enough.

Phoebe helped me back in July, I had to submit pictures of the stitching on my sweater that after wearing it once was ruined. I was told to go through quality control which I did. They authorized the return, asked if I wanted a refund or replacement I chose replacement and told to donate the item which I did. This was never fully processed and I am now being told it’s not going to happen. Besides that I am told that activity associated with my account does not align with their Terms of service by Keith. I would like a clear explanation of this. So now I feel like I was lied to and now they are looking for a reason to say my account doesn’t align with their terms because someone in the quality control

I bought several products t-shirts and they came with loose seams and marked collar, when they sent the credit I asked for another t-shirt and it seems that a car step over the package and brake damaging the t-shirt, very disappointing

I processed an in-store return, and a $150 credit was placed onto a store card. Shortly afterward, the full balance was depleted without my authorization.

When I reached out to customer support, Alo confirmed in writing that my balance was redeemed on an entirely separate, third-party account. Despite admitting that another account used the funds, customer service repeatedly refused to restore my balance or investigate how their system allowed an unauthorized third party to drain my store credit. They also refused to provide any verification details for the unauthorized order.

Alo left me with zero merchandise and zero store credit. Complaints have been filed with the California Attorney General and the BBB. Be extremely cautious leaving returned funds on store credit with this company.

I’m following up about my missing order. After waiting three weeks just for it to be marked as delivered, it never arrived. I understand there’s an investigation underway, but given how long it’s already taken, and that it was meant as a birthday gift still haven’t recived update order online with caution

Ich kann die bisher geschilderten Erfahrungen mit dem Kundenservice leider nur bestätigen.

Ein Teil meiner Rücksendung ist angeblich nicht angekommen, während ein weiteres Paket bereits auf dem Versandweg verloren gegangen ist. Anstatt den Sachverhalt selbst umfassend zu prüfen, schiebt der Kundenservice die Verantwortung auf das externe Warenlager und stützt sich offenbar ausschließlich auf dessen Angaben.

Eine eigene Nachforschung beim Versandunternehmen wurde trotz meiner Hinweise nicht durchgeführt. Dabei sprechen die vorhandenen Informationen durchaus für meine Darstellung: Das betreffende Paket ist laut Sendungsverfolgung nicht bei mir angekommen, und auch das Gewicht des Pakets passt nicht zu der Menge der Artikel, die laut Warenlager angeblich darin enthalten gewesen sein sollen.

Besonders enttäuschend ist, dass trotz dieser Widersprüche keine ernsthafte Klärung des Falls erfolgt und mir letztlich die Verantwortung für einen Vorgang zugeschoben wird, auf den ich keinen Einfluss hatte.

Ich kann daher nur davon abraten, dort zu bestellen. Wenn beim Versand oder bei einer Rücksendung etwas schiefläuft, sollte man sich offenbar nicht darauf verlassen können, dass der Kundenservice den Fall tatsächlich untersucht oder eine faire Lösung bzw. Erstattung anbietet.

A very high price point for something that doesn’t feel that quality, just seems a social media hype and I have found other companies offering the same for half the price that feel better quality. Ordered a sweatshirt, expecting quite a thick material for £128 however it is quite thin. It is soft but I wouldn’t say anything out of the ordinary and it fits well. I am happy with it but for the cost would I rave about it? No. Would I purchase again? Probably not

Terrible customer service! I used a first time buyer discount code, but the items were too big. I tried to exchange them but that’s only inside the USA so you have to return them. This mean making a fresh order but they wouldn’t give me a new discount code, bearing in mind I returned the original order so hadn’t actually bought anything.

The quality doesn’t look great either!

My experience with their customer service has been absolute theft and pure gaslighting. I ordered the Suit Up Trousers, but their warehouse completely messed up and sent me a cheap pair of leggings instead.
When I reached out to resolve the issue and provided all the photo proof and package details, their support agents and automated bots repeatedly shut me down, claiming "inconsistencies" without ever explaining what they mean. To top it all off, when I asked them to prove their claim that the correct item was shipped by showing warehouse packing footage, they literally ended our live chat right in my face to avoid taking responsibility.
They took my money, sent the wrong, cheaper item, and refuse to issue a refund or correct the order while lying through their teeth. Save your money and your nerves, and never trust this brand. Zero accountability and fraudulent customer service!

Extremely disappointing experience with Alo customer service. A promotional tote that I qualified for was missing from my order, and instead of simply resolving the issue, customer service gave me one incorrect explanation after another.

First, I was told the promotion wasn’t active when I ordered. After I showed that it was, they claimed my order didn’t meet the $300 threshold. After I clarified that this was also incorrect, the explanation changed again: apparently their system simply doesn’t allow them to send the missing bag separately.

After several emails, instead of taking responsibility for their own mistakes and contradictory information, they once again tried to put the blame on me.

Even the voucher offered as compensation came with a lot of additional restrictions, creating yet another inconvenience instead of actually solving anything.

Multiple mistakes, constantly changing explanations, zero flexibility, and no accountability. Really poor customer service for a premium brand.

Horrible quality - first and only yoga set from alo had to be thrown in the trash after 1 wash. Will never be buying from this brand again.

The worst customer service. I have washed the hoodie 3 times and item has pilling. Customer service will not do anything.

Really bad quality, peels when you wash it. Absolute scam for the price.

I honestly cannot understand how a brand like ALO can provide such a poor customer service experience.

I have been trying to resolve a simple return/exchange issue, and instead of receiving a clear and timely solution, I have been left waiting and repeatedly following up. I was told that a return label would be sent to me, yet more than 48 hours passed and I still had not received it.

What is even more frustrating is that I had already contacted customer service and was given different information regarding the return process. I was told to wait several business days for an email, and after waiting as instructed, there was still no update, no return label, and no proper follow-up.

As a customer, I should not have to repeatedly chase customer service for something that should have been handled in the first place. If you tell a customer that something will be sent, then actually send it—or at the very least, provide a clear explanation and update.

ALO positions itself as a premium brand, but the customer service I experienced was nowhere near that standard. The product may be nice, but good customer service is part of the overall customer experience, and ALO seriously failed in that area.

This has been unnecessarily frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing. I expected much better from ALO, and based on this experience, I would seriously reconsider purchasing from this brand again.

I don’t understand the terrible reviews for Alo!! Every order I have done has been perfect. Quick, premium delivery to Australia. Returns refunded promptly. I love every single outfit I have ordered.

I’ve ordered and spent a lot on these clothes over the last 12 months and have generally had good customer service. The quality is not great but I’ve always had a refund/exchange.
However this time, terrible. Ordered 4 days ago with express shipping/delivery which says it takes 3-4 days.
4 days later my order is still being processed and hasn’t been shipped. Tried chat, tried email and tried texting only to get told it’s on its way. Text support said it wasn’t working! Shocking.

The dress I received looks like a cheap copy of the advertised product. Used and Not Authentic. It has no logo, no tags, and the quality is not what was shown in the pictures. The style is similar, but it definitely doesn't feel like the original product. Be careful when ordering!

Horrible service. Live agents i think do not realise what are their responsibilities. They do not help or give any info about the issues with your order. Their support is limited to “thank you for your patience”, “how is your day”, “apologies for the inconvenience” . Alo i came to you not for apologies but for resolution of my problems created by you. Teach you support to do their job at least !!!

Been buying ALO for a while. They offered a 15% discount on future order, I did buy $550 at Square One Mississauga. They refused the 15% discount, next day called ALO head office, sent them receipts and now they refuse the 15% discount. For me is not the money, is simply how they act with the customer. They really lost 4 customers.
