Dean was really helpful when he came out to sort our heating issue. Cannot fault his work and attitude. I also spoke to a person in the office who was really friendly and helpful. Very impressed with this company.

Great experience from start to finish.
Received a text Thursday to remind me that the boiler service was due, spoke to Rieyan via email and arranged an appointment for the following Monday.
Lee came to do the service Monday afternoon, he rang when on his way with an ETA, wore shoe covers in the house and carried out the service promptly.
Both Rieyan and Lee were friendly and helpful.

Andy who came round today was an absolute gem. Lovely, kind man who really went out of his way deliver excellent customer service. Explained clearly and in layman's terms exactly what the problem was with our boiler. Andy is a real asset for AllGas North West Ltd and I hope you take care of this wonderful employee who deserves recognition.

Lee from AllGas serviced my boiler about six months ago on behalf of Corgi. No complaints so I had no hesitation in calling them recently to service two gas fires. Rieyan was very good in booking the service and checking the day before to confirm the visit. Lee carried out the service with minimum fuss. Gave me advice on a couple of issues. I recommend them.

Lee was very polite, job completed to a good standard and showed me in great detail how to use new parts he has installed. Highly recommend

Engineer from this company arrived after I reported a fault with my boiler to my insurance company.

First of all, the original appointment was pushed back by 48 hours because they didn't have enough engineers available on the original appointment day. OK fine, rearranged.

When he does arrive, (45 minutes later than the agreed time slot). He's here all of two minutes before he declares he's finished and he will feedback to the insurance company. But he was keen to give me a nice friendly warning that the insurance company may deem my boiler beyond economical repair due to its age. Despite the fact the boiler is still actually working in terms of giving heating and hot water. It's just the display screen is blank. But he assured me this was not up to him and he would just report back to the insurer and it would be up to them. Well this was a complete lie as I've now seen his report comments back to the insurer and the engineer himself has suggested it's beyond economical repair. So now of course my insurance won't fulfill the repair and have suggested I get a new boiler. Of course they have, at a cost of thousands to me instead of a few hundred to them for the repair. And let me guess, it would be All Gas Northwest that could sort me a boiler and fit it as well. Absolute scammers as far as I'm concerned all of them.

28 days after being allocated a routine boiler repair by ATAG there was still no prospect of the repair being done so I got the job reallocated to another company.
My experience was of an office that makes false promises, doesn't answer the phone, respond to messages or keep the customer informed at any stage.
The company took on a job that they didn't have the engineers or parts to complete.
So a more realistic approach to which jobs to accept and then a more truthful, transparent and informative customer service is a must.
I would advise against using these people unless you want a month of frustration and a non working boiler.

Lee the owner arrived today with Craig and in the timescale they specified to fit a new GloWorm boiler as our old one was leaking. I booked it through a care plan with Hometree there was a 15% discount on the boiler too. They recommended a plumber and the finance was sorted within a few days. Lee and Craig from AllGas were so polite and friendly nothing was too much trouble they explained everything to me. Highly recommend this company.

The engineer that came to sort out the annual check up was great, friendly and professional. Did the work quickly and efficiently.

They lie, don't pass on information, and blame you when things go wrong. Apparently voicemail is not reliable but they cancelled my appointment after leaving me a voicemail. Booked appointment twice, never showed up and had the nerve to tell me to get in touch if I have further issues. No chance. Avoid at all costs

I had the displeasure of encountering this outfit indirectly as my boiler insurer appointed them to the job. They couldn't send anyone that day - I'll let that go as it was Monday and Winter when all the boilers break down. The engineer came Tuesday. They have some good engineers - I have no issues with the one who turned up at my house - thorough and proactive. The issue is COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. The engineer didn't have the necessary replacement part, so communicated the job details to his office. 24 hours later, I hadn't heard from anybody. I contacted YourRepair who contacted AllGas. NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. Come the afternoon I leaned heavily on YourRepair and expressed my lack of confidence in their contractor. YourRepair then finally got a quote out of AllGas - and gave the job to someone else.
If you're going to run this sort of business, as well as competent engineers (which they have) you also need competent admin (WHICH THEY DEFINITELY DON'T)
I notice from other reviewers they are happy to LIE to cover up their inability to co-ordinate and communicate.
Unless you like hanging on the phone with nothing happening, do NOT use this outfit. Use a firm that has someone competent running the office.

Had an AllGas North West engineer attend my house in Crewe today because my (old) boiler had stopped working. He quickly identified an issue and sorted it in less than half an hour. I didn’t catch his name but he was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient , and took the time to explain a few things to me. Would recommend the company.

Horrible company, no wonder low star. Allocated for a gas job by insurance. Showing no customer service skills calling incessantly, despite rejecting the call several times due to not being available to take call. Then didn't turn up at the agreed time, and claimed nobody was in. Avoid at all cost.

Quick and precise diagnosis of faults, rectified quickly & efficiently, very helpful and informative, arrived at my property early.

Whilst the engineer was polite and thorough when servicing my boiler which was not faulty there was a fault with the separate CH Pump which just required swapping. Allgas would not authorise the fix at the site visit. When the report came through it stated that the boiler was in poor condition which was false. They subsequently tried to sell a boiler replacement which I did not need. This is a very bad practice which I will take further.

All this company does it lie and give poor excuses why they are running late avoid this Micky mouse company

My service was due in March in North Yorkshire. Appointments were regularly cancelled as the company stated they had a shortage of engineers covering my area. An engineer eventually arrived 5 months later on 29th August. A honest guy who serviced the boiler and agreed the boiler was all good. The only problem was that the independent CH circulation pump had seized due to the heating not being used during Summer. This was piped to the water cylinder and not part of the boiler. The engineer agreed that the pump replacement was a quick fix due to having 2 isolation valves and he had a good stock of pumps in his van. Prior to swapping the pumps he called his office for an authorisation code, but to his surprise it was declined. I could see his frustration and he left leaving me without heating. He had travelled a long way from Lancashire over to North Yorkshire and wasn’t allowed to fix the fault. Later in the day I received a copy of the Job Sheet that was totally false. A different engineer was named on the report. It stated that I had a Combi Boiler when I hadn’t. It stated that the pump was obsolete! The engineer had one in his hand. They are universal & readily available from my plumbing merchant. And finally the report stated that my boiler was in poor condition which it wasn’t. My boiler has a long service history with British Gas and had new parts fitted just 18 months earlier and parts are readily available. The boiler was working fine without any issues it was just the independent pump that needed changing. Albeit, later in the day I received a sales call trying to sell me a new boiler with 15% discount. I stated that my boiler was fine and that the engineer agreed, just the pump. This has led to a complaint which has been outstanding for 5 weeks. I chased today with Hometree who stated they closed the complaint off without any communication with myself although I have been chasing. I was initially advised that companies now have the right to resolve complaints up to 8 weeks. I requested that the complaint be reopened! I am a pensioner and feel discriminated against and taken advantage of! I have paid aprox £500 in premiums over the last 15 months as I pay upfront and the service from Allgas North West has been atrocious . They have provided a job sheet with false information which is just not acceptable. AVOID Allgas North West. If any other pensioners have a similar experience BBC Watchdog & Age Concern are collecting data for a future programme regarding Boiler/Heating policies. I am still without heating after 5 weeks!!

I am with Hometree who use AllGas North West for boiler problems.
We have an old Baxi Combo Boiler (around 20yrs old) so have had a number of issues with it for a few years due to the age of it.
The guys at AllGas have always been on time and reliable, polite and friendly.
Lee is extremely knowledgeable and has managed to fix the issues with the boiler over the years.
Can't speak highly enough of this company and I would highly recommend them. Thank you guys!
