Be careful by an open boxesI…
I bought a double stroller by Nuna I was told that if I bought a box opened, it had been examined and nothing was wrong with the item. Unfortunately, this was not true. When I received the item the back brace is broken, which is probably why it was returned to begin with for now I can use that site for the baby who is newborn, but when it comes to using it for both of them as a toddler, it will not be able to be used. I did call the company before and ask them what it meant when buying an open box with no return that all entitled, they said it was non-returnable, but that the item had been checked for damages. So I assumed that this was not an issue for me unfortunately that is not the case.

Old, previously opened stock eventually replaced
Update: Although it took nearly six weeks, the Albee team has come through. I had written off the experience but was surprised to find a new car seat delivered to the door. I appreciate their continued effort with Nuna to make this right.
Previous review: It was immediately obvious that the car seat box had been opened and re-closed prior to being sold to us as new. The seat itself was manufactured over a year ago, which devalues it by at least 10% off the bat. Have had good luck in the past but disappointed at the execution this time. Expect more when buying top of the line.

We're sorry to hear that the condition of the packaging raised concerns when your car seat arrived. We understand why seeing a box that appeared to have been opened, along with a manufacturing date from over a year ago, would be disappointing, especially when purchasing a new, high-end car seat.
We do want to clarify one important detail: this order was shipped directly from the manufacturer, not from Albee Baby's warehouse. The car seat never came through our facility, so it could not have been opened or repackaged by our team. It was shipped directly to you from the manufacturer's available inventory.
That said, we're absolutely happy to look into your concerns with the brand. If you could send us photos of the box, the car seat, and the manufacturing label to info@albeebaby.com, along with your order information, we'll be happy to review everything and see what we can do to help.

Great larger car seat

Less than ideal packaging
The packaging was not excellent. The bottom blew out of the Doona car seat box. It was being held up by one piece of tape. I reached out and they didn't seem to be bothered much by that and mostly dismissed my concerns.
