Best theme ever - i have been using it for all my clients for many years. The support is quick and attentive. Highly recommended.

Quick response and resolution of my issues.

I'm not exactly a beginner, as I've been making websites with WordPress since 2013.

In all those years, I've tested and used many different themes, but in August 2024 I started getting warnings from Wordfence that there was a security risk in the theme I was using. Then I felt more or less forced to switch to some other theme.

So I started looking for a suitable theme and finally decided to use the Astra theme.

But it wasn't "just" switching to Astra because there were many things that needed to be adjusted so that it suits me.

For example the size of the entire web page, size of the header, size of images, choice of fonts, size of letters and colors.

But that's not all, the website has to look good regardless of whether visitors are using computers, tablets or cell phones.

I was able to fix most of it myself, but for some things I had to get help from the support, which helped me beyond my expectations.

After I've been working with switching to Astra themes on my websites, I now understand why Astra is the most popular theme in the world. I agree and I can highly recommend the Astra theme.

Regarding the rating here on Trustpilot. I initially thought about giving Astra 4 stars, but thanks to the incredibly helpful and talented support, they get a really well-deserved 5 stars.

I am a novice when it comes to websites and subscribed to Astra to be able to get informed support when I needed it.
Their support staff responded quickly with a detailed visuals to every query and I have no hesitation in recommending Astra to anyone considering a theme for their website.

Astra has been such a great theme to use for building my e-commerce website. The customisation features are incredible and gives you so much flexibility on what you can do. But the best part of using Astra has been the support offered when building your website. I cannot even begin to list all the times I’ve opened up a support ticket with questions on how to edit certain features on my website, and the support team always respond within a few hours. More importantly, they explain things in a way that’s really easy to understand even for an amateur like myself. The screencasts that they add when explaining steps is so incredibly helpful. I would recommend to anyone that’s wanting to build a website to use the Astra theme

Only limit is your imagination (of course it is good to know basics of html/css/php/JavaScript). But even without all extra skills Theme offers everything you might ever need! I have been using Astra Pro for many years. I find the theme easy to customise and the documentation is well presented and thorough. On the rare occasions when I need technical support, responses are quick, polite, easy to understand and always solve my issue. Astra support always have my back. I highly recommend Astra.

What I like about Astra support is that they give good, prompt support. Saves me a lot of money from having to hire a dveloper.

Astra is not only a powerful theme but also it is very user-friendly at the same time, it is user-friendly. Also, I have never worked on another theme, which gives so many options for customisation, particularly the header builder. And the best part is that you gave so much of features and options to your free version also.

I invested a lot of time in finding a theme with the right balance for me between handling settings and functionalities automatically, and being a bare framework. Personally, I prefer to do almost all of the CSS myself, except the general responsiveness.
After a long search and comparisions, I chose Astra Pro. I've been using it for a few years now, and built quite a few websites using it.
To be honest, I have mixed feelings about it. There is a lot of CSS already set regarding colors, fonts, etc., which I all need to reset before getting started. After a theme update, sometimes new settings are added or old ones are reset, and I have to go in and see if I can find the CSS setting, which can be quite well hidden. After that, I make my own CSS using a child theme.
That is the negative side of Astra for me. On the positive side, support is excellent, the theme is very flexible, allowing me to build any lay-out I want, well-documented, provides lots of hooks and functionalities and is very good performance-wise.
I also really like the fact that there is NO page builder included, although I'm sure it can be combined to work with most of the popular ones.
In all, I am happy with Astra. It's not perfect, but it's very good and the closest thing to what I look for in a theme that I have found so far.

Quick response and fix for an issue I was having with Astra Plus.

I had originally given a two star review for Astra but then I investigated my website editing issue and it turns out it wasn't Astra Theme after all. After I downloading Astra into my existing wordpress site it seamlessly incorporated itself to it. Backblinks were all hooked up Astra works great. Thanks!

I loove this theme and the team behind it. Ive used it for almost all of my websites (5 or so) and i choose it everytime. The options are amazing and for every update its just getting better.

THE SUPPORT -To die for, they are so helpfull, quick to answer at you really feel like you always have an expert on hand. I can only recomed this

Okay didn't want to have to do this but I have no choice. I have been using Astra for a few months now. I even spent $100 on their "pro" version. They claim to prioritize "pro" members. Couldn't be further from the case. I sent them an email about a bug I was having with endless cart page refreshes itself. Basically on the view cart page it will automatically load every 2 seconds endlessly.

They got back to me pretty quickly initially maybe 1 hour of me waiting. They claim that this bug was ONLY happening to my site? Uh huh. Right. They told me to make a staging site so they can help. I did what they asked and sent them the login credentials. 2 days go by and not a word. Then they tell me the login info was wrong. I updated the password. Sent them the new info. I still have not heard from them.

I seeked helped with Wordpress. They eventually got back to me. Switch the Cart page to Classic and page doesn't refresh. Now the only thing that doesn't work is proceeded to checkout. Here is exactly what Wordpress told me:

"The issue appears to be due to a conflict between the theme Astra and WooCommerce. When the theme is switched to other themes such as Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four, the Cart page is loading fine. You can check it here: (my staging site)

Every single update Astra does, something seems to break.

I spent $100 on their theme. Money wasted.

I never would recommend Astra to anyone. If their support team actually RESPONDED to me and HELPED me, I wouldn't be leaving this review.

Avoid this theme at all costs. I wish I didn't spend $100 on their theme.

EDIT:

Updated review to a 4. They fixed my issue took 4 days and mostly they were MIA those 4 days. Amazingly they expedited my ticket and fixed it immediately. Wish they did that sooner. Anyways. I do love the theme. Support needs serious work in responding.
