In my online order I was supplied bread that was mouldy and past the best before date - best before was 15 Apr 2026 and my order arrived in the late afternoon on 15 Apr 2026.
I contacted Woolworths and although they provided a refund they were unconcerned that their staff did this.
I advise everyone to check bread when it arrives from an online order and to check in store as they have no system that they follow. I shopped at Woolworths Stud park, Rowville, Victoria.

Good pricing, just wish they would get ride of 4 wheel steer carts.

Service and Staff lacking at Northam,

Never enough service, the staff always chatting, but where is the service. The staff are rude and too old, no smiles, nothing welcoming about WW Northam.

I bought Woolworths recipe Mango Chicken with sweet chilli. My first tip on how they could improve it is to use a real chicken not the rubber one they used in this recipe. Cooked as per the instructions on the pack.

I can't say strongly enough how bad an experience it was attempting to eat this garbage.

A Marketplace seller promoted by Woolworths sold me a defective product then made it impossible to return. Please don’t use marketplace as it’s a scam, not worth the hassle and they take no accountability for defective products.

I am shopping at Woolworths in Bondi Junction since nearly 50 years , you have a Gentleman called DARLINGTON at the check out.. for many years. He is always very friendly and helpful.
This is not the case with all people working there, specially an older woman in charge.

I just went to the Redfern Woollies on Chalmers st . We parked at the woollies car parking. We saw a lot of rats the were jumping everywhere around the garbage area! It’s disgusting and frustrating! Can you do something about it! Thx

Went to buy a prepared meal and found the special was more expensive than the regular price. I’ll be taking it to ACCC. Regular price under special tag was $7.50 and special price was 2 for $16 or $8.50 each and I have a photo of it

One checkout open at peak time as the poor young sod on the second of 6 checkouts had to leave, being already 15 minutes past his scheduled finish. Plenty of staff doing "administrative tasks" like supervising the self-checkout, while people with trolleys of groceries queue. Eventually someone must have noticed so another checkout was opened, and after my stuff was scanned, they finally opened a third. Considering what we all pay for groceries, and as Tony Jamous commented here, even the paper bags we have to purchase are rubbish, They are not fit for purpose, especially if dairy or other damp goods are concerned. Woolworths should think less about profit and more about customer service. When are they going to understand that we don't work for them, so don't want to scan our own goods at the checkout?

Absolutely horrendous service this afternoon at Woolworths Spearwood!
I was served by an older lady/ Caucasian with black hair. She was so angry !!
Basically trowing the shopping at me!
Just because I asked her not squash any more bakery items as she packed the pancakes under the canned good!
Unfortunately she wasn’t wearing a name badge but she was on the back checkout, closest to the freezers!
She also threw a paper bag at me and said “pack!”

1st ever home delivery had 3 items wrong (raw prawns instead of cooked as ordered.
Rang and got sorted promised delivery same day between 2pm and 5pm , its now 10 am next day and still no delivery.
Just go off phone with Consumer Affairs after filing a complaint.

Good online app to navigate and a range of products available, however, it is disappointing that fresh produce is either not fresh or damaged.

I rang up to see where I could purchase a Woolworths Universal Bag, the $15 ones, that have been sold out everywhere. A gentleman by the name of Lance helped me to find which store had them. Only one store had some left. What a valuable employee, he went above and beyond to assist me. Thankyou to him I got one. And it was so nice to actually speak to someone and within Australia.

woolworths mitcham is spacious but no stock variety, more expensive then coles in ringwood, and i bought some beef and it smelt off and their lemonade is horrible i poured in out, not drinkable.

WOOLWORTH A billion-dollar company, this is just pathetic.

Honestly, do we need to start a charity for Woolworths so they can afford proper shopping bags?
You pay premium prices, pack your groceries, walk to the car… and the bag splits open in the parking lot. Eggs everywhere. Milk on the ground. Fantastic experience.
Amazing how a company making billions still manages to save money on the one thing designed to carry groceries.
Not asking for luxury — just bags that survive the walk to the car.

Wyatt Grove has been my favourite WW store for 7 years but I cannot understand what is happening now. Hardly any staff available for customers but heaps of staff wheeling large trollies around. Some trollies are obviously online orders. The shelves are never anywhere near fully stocked yet there are masses of huge wire stacked trollies full of goods. Today I could not get anywhere near the cheese dairy section. At least 10 huge trollies blocked access except for one customer at a time. Why isnt' the store being stocked and items moved around at night? It is now an extremely difficult and unpleasant experience. Difficult because you cannot get near the items you want because everywhere you go there is a big trolley or a person trying to fill the orders with their trolley. Unpleasant because I constant fear being hit by the huge trollies and it is difficult to manoevre my trolley around all the obstacles. Looking to drive to Joondalup which is much bigger, even though it has the same issue too.

I order Macro low carb bread and got probiotic bread instead. The young girl that brought the bread out had no idea what to do when I told her. She looked about 13 years old. After about 4 phone calls the money was refunded. I live out of town and lost half of my Saturday driving into town to get bread that is no good to me. Useless. I wont be using their online ordering again.

I have been a long‑standing online customer of Woolworths, and the recent decline in product quality is unacceptable. Orders are arriving with missing items, expired products, and goods that are clearly below standard. This level of service is far from what customers should expect.
