I have no idea how to rate a product that I didn't use. I see lots of 5 star ratings for WAS insurance based on what exactly? You don't know how good they are until you try making a claim. I went on a holiday, had no issues, so I didn't need to make a claim. SO is there product any good? I have no idea so that's why I rated it 3 stars.

They are a good company that caters to travelling insurance needs throughly … I found them to be of great value for money with better coverage then most .. the premiums are felt are still a little too high but by far the best value in terms of travel insurance for the USA

We submitted a claim and got paid the amount we expected within 8 days. Very easy process and great customer service.

It's a truism that you don't really know how good an insurance company is until you need them. On this trip, I fell seriously ill, requiring nearly a week of hospitalisation. The insurer took care of everything, remained in contact throughout, provided clarification and advice around the multitude of tests and followups I needed. I could not recommend WAS enough, based on this experience and will certainly be using them exclusively moving forward (this was the 3rd time I have purchased WAS insurance but the 1st time I have needed to use it). I even received correspondence when I got back home to make sure I had returned safely, and to ensure I had the information I needed in case I required further assistance. During a troubling time, WAS were there for me, making sure I felt thoroughly supported and could concentrate on my recovery.
