The charges feel misleading. You staye there is a 15% commission on "hammer price" which one would assume means if I win a bottle at 100 pounds I will pay 15 pounds commission except this isn't true. You charge 15% commission on order total which includes delivery and VAT on that delivery. The wording is deceptive why am I paying commission on delivery and VAT?

Poor performance
Its been almost three weeks and i still haven't received my bottles. Not acceptable considering how expensive the shipping is.

Monitor heavy last minute counter bidding
A lot of counter bidding happened in the last hour and extension time. I lost a lot of lots (some were only marginally higher). Maybe I need to monitor the lots in this period more!

Order update
After I payed for my order, for over a week (roughly 10 days) I didnt recieve a single update about my shipment. In your website its impossible to find out about the status of your order, only invoice can be found. Digging through Q&A I found that it can take up to 2 weeks for order to be shipped. This information should be placed in a easily visible place. Also the order status should be easily understandable.

An Order Confirmation is sent as soon as payment is completed, and a Shipping Confirmation follows once the parcel has been dispatched. Your order status can also be viewed at any time in the Buyer section of your account, where tracking details appear once available.
If these emails didn’t come through, it may be worth checking your junk or spam folder. Please do get in touch with our Client Service Team if you’d like us to look into your order or help with anything further.

Wine purchased was off
Wine purchased was off. Whilst I accept the company can't guarantee how a wine has been kept, I think there should be some 'duty of care' applied to ensure product is fit for purpose. Try corovinning wines that could be suspect. I think purchasers/bidders would prefer know the product had been tested - it might even increase prices, and therefore, your income.

While we can’t guarantee how a wine has been stored prior to consignment, we do assess each lot carefully and would not knowingly offer a bottle that appears to be in poor condition without clearly noting this.
