Incompetent customer service
Incompetent customer service. I need to have a vehicle towed and the customer service representative asked me to repeat my card number at a half dozen times. I was put on hold and after 20 minutes the representative transferred my call to someone else who disconnected my call. I called again and was on hold for another 10 minutes and it took 30 minutes to schedule a tow.

WEX Health [#1191294] stole $3,000 from me. I inadvertently signed up for an incorrect Health Savings account when my newborn arrived. The funds were to be set aside for the mother to pay for doctors visits, copays and etc. Wex informed me that the $3,000 was to be used for child care. Now, I just stated that the baby was newborn, so why would she need child care services? Wex refuses to return to me the $3,000 that I was withholding from my paychecks. They took the money but refuse to return the money. I would never recommend them for anything

This must be the worst bank on planet earth. I had two accounts with them. One with Exxon Mobil, the other one with shell fleet services. Because of a manager lying to my accounts receivable department, they formulated a domino effect that caused me to terminate my account because of the excessive fees, they just kept applying for no reason at all. After I terminated the account, they went after my shell account and purposely closed that one and terminated it. Never did I do anything wrong nor my company. If any business owner is looking for a fleet account, stay away from. WEX! They are a bunch of deplorables! The rudest most despicable humans that you can even deal with for customer service. Managers supervisors just lies after lies fees after fees and never help with anything. my office hates this company with a passion. Every time the name WEX is named at my office. Everyone is horrified. They can keep the accounts. I never needed them in the first place. my business has extensive credit. I have nothing to worry, but please keep away from this company. They will end up ruining your business credit over anything and terminate your accounts just because they feel like it. This deserves to be in a Third World country. Thank you so much happy holidays.
PS. If you're looking for a company to be bullied, this is the one to choose. I will keep away. I will also be reporting them with a Better Business Bureau and showing them everything I have of proof of my end.

Horrible
Horrible. Earlier this year, UHC dentaly told me and my dentist office that I didn't have coverage. Due to non-payment of my COBRA dental plan. It turns out I had been paying monthly, fully paid up... My previous employer had changed benefits administrators and I didn't recognize the hange but ha set up monthly payments. Because I was told I didn't have dental benefits, I believed UHC... so I didn't get routine care as often as I should and ended up paying outof pocket when I did. I've been on the phone for over 4 hours this week tryingto get that straightened out an they won't provide a refund for the $300+ the combination of Wex and UHC have taken from me without any benefit so far.
Fraud and excessive late fees
If you use any WEX fuel card, and they have quite a few, make sure it covers fraud. We had one that didn't and were stuck with a $4000 bill when a card info was stolen by a truck driver and we didn't even use diesel fuel. Also if you are one day late they charge like 9% late fees, whereas other companies charge 1% and they have no option for autopay like other companies
Poor Service and Poor Results
They are supposed to handle our FSA benefits processing. However, they do so poorly. Their processes are cumbersome. They have a poor interpretation of IRS regulations. They FREQUENTLY deny claims on the thinnest of reasons and end up reversing their denials after large amounts of effort and evidence is provided. Would not recommend. Find another provider.

Money stollen from my account and I am still fighting after been promised a refund.
Charged twice for fuel I did not use!!! Faults take weeks to resolve
I applied for an ESSO / Wex card using BluelightCard, all was fine and the card came eventually (Not a quick system).
Filled up with 30Ltrs but found on my invoice a few days later that the garage double-charged me. So I raised this with WEX asap. I am out of pocket. I would chase up every week and I would receive the stock response (We are chasing and will update you soon). However, after 7 weeks I have still heard nothing BUT!!!!! They charged me again!!!!! However, I can not log this under the original reference number I have to raise it again!!! I am now 3105 out of pocket and they are not being urgent about this at all. I eventually spoke to a human and they said they will refund me the 1st one but this will take another 2 weeks to process. So I now have to wait for a total of 9/10 weeks for half of their mistake to be rectified and another few weeks for the other.
My advice - It might be discounted (IF) it works. I believe all Esso staff hate using this system and it's flawed with mistakes. WEX offers no apology or compensation for me being £105 out of pocket.
Motorpass High Fees and No Discount
Motorpass charge high fees and they don’t give you a discount at the pump at all. Don’t use Motorpass anymore they’re trying to rip you off and try to stay away from them.
WEX Fleet services--Not Trustworthy
WEX is a company that provides Fleet trucking companies with a way to purchase fuel, repairs etc while on the road. Our experience with WEX has been not so good. They have not held up to their promises and when we had an issue with fraud, they just turn their back to us and have not been willing to do what is right and ethical. I recommend that you do not work with this company and if you are currently with them I encourage you to look for another company.
