Customer Support went above and beyond
I've been having some issues connecting my heart rate belt to my Wattbike and Matt at Wattbike gave me some very comprehensive instructions that enabled us to troubleshoot the issue together and get to a favourable conclusion.
While I had his attention I mentioned I'm about to emigrate from the UK to Japan and could he source a power supply for Japan (two pin same as US). He worked with the spare parts store who found a unit in stock and after payment quickly dispatched to me. He also took the effort to pass me all the contact details for the Wattbike partner/service centre in Japan so I could seek local support if needed when I arrive, really thoughtful and great customer service, thank you!!!!

Non existent customer service
Non existent customer service and very poor follow up. The left pedal wouldn’t screw onto the crankshaft due to no thread.

We're really sorry that your bike was delivered with an issue with the crank thread, meaning you were unable to fit the left pedal. This is certainly not the experience we want for a new bike.
We arranged a service call-out to resolve the issue, although unfortunately the engineer had to rearrange the appointment to the following day. I also understand your frustration that we didn't follow up with you after the engineer's visit.
Our service system normally only alerts our team if a booked job is unsuccessful, so when the visit was marked as completed, we weren't automatically prompted to contact you. That said, we appreciate that we should have followed up to make sure everything was resolved, and we're sorry that this didn't happen.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we're glad we were able to arrange the repair.

Had a tech issue with Wattbike, once we established there was a bike not software issue things were quickly solved. Bruce the engineer was excellent and informative and gave the bike a good service. Cheers Bruce!

Had a problem with the Atom
Had a problem with the Atom - the tech team were first class.
It could be fixed with a service so booked one on line.The first offer of a service date wasn’t great but they soon rectified that.
They went above and beyond after that - taking my bike away and providing a replacement whilst they sorted it.
My bike came back immaculate and in great working order.
Matt and Isobel have beed ‘on it’ over the couple of weeks it took.

Wattbike Atom new purchase
The item was delivered when requested and was very easy to setup and get up and running. The kit included in the purchase was all of great quality and the fan was a more than welcome addition.
Great exercise bike and seems easy to integrate with other fitness apps.

After the original service
After the original service, my wattbike Atom shifters would not connect. However talking to Matt on service support he arranged for a service engineer James to come within 24hours who correct the issue with a reset of the firmware and
pairing of the shifters. It was a great job by Matt and James. My suggestion is that if the pairing checks and compatability had been with Rouvy connection at the original service itself then this would have avoided the need for a repeat visit. My thanks are to Matt and James

Excellent technical skills to service my bike, shame about the long delay to get an appointment
I am really impressed with the work that Edward, the technician, did in servicing my Wattbike. He is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled friendly and worked quickly and efficiently to resolve the problems which restored my bike to its former glory. Thank you, Edward.
The only disappointment with the whole Wattbike customer experience was the long delay from registering my problem until it was able to be repaired. The customer service team was very responsive but unable to influence the long wait for the availability of a technician.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking back through your case, your bike needed a service outside of the standard availability, so we arranged a free collection and repair at our HQ to accommodate your dates. That process involved a queue at our service centre, where turnaround varies bike to bike — and we should have explained that clearly at the outset rather than leaving you to chase updates, which we know you had to do more than once.
We're reviewing how we set expectations on HQ service bookings so customers know what to expect from the start.
Sorry the Hub app wasn't for you — we're always looking to improve it, and feedback like this helps.
