Bringing My Old Watt Bike Back To Life
Once I got hold of Wattbike Customer Care Team (Matt was my contact), he kept me informed at relevant moments along the way. My issue was fixing a new part on an old bike which required a wait period to source the part and then we had to manage the installation. While this process was lengthy due to my unusual request, I was get updated which is great for me. Once we had part, it was fitted by Service engineer when we both agreed the date. The job was completed in no time and now my old bike is new again!! And by the way Service Engineer, a great representative of your organisation.

Edward went above and beyond and to be fair the service was worth the cost as it updated all of the wear and tear parts and I didn’t expect that… every 2 years is the recommended service time and it is worth it….

Excellent service carried out on Wattbike Atom. Engineer (Edward) kept me informed of likely arrival time. Arrived within time bracket expected, was friendly and knowledgeable. Service was quick ... and effective, bike running quieter and gear changes slicker than before.

Service and repair of Wattbike Atom
We had an issue with the gear shifters and the Wattbike needed a service. All this was completed extremely well by the mechanic who was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He was on time and cleaned up after himself.

The delivery was quick.

Unfortuanately my original booking had to be changed as someone else cancelled making it uneconomic for the agent to attend on my original appointment date.
The service was performed well with full explanation of the process.

Honestly the service is at best chaotic
Honestly the service is at best chaotic. Ordered a reconditioned watt bike to be delivered today between 10 and 12. No show. After several calls I am now told it will be delivered at 2pm. It’s not possible to reach anyone on the phone after 1pm on a Friday. I have had a couple of emails but one was from the AI assistant who told me that the bike has not yet been dispatched. Very disappointing service levels . Looking at recent reviews it looks like I am not alone in this experience

We're sorry that your delivery did not go as planned and appreciate how frustrating it is to be waiting for a delivery that doesn't arrive within the expected timeframe.
On this occasion, we had to use an agency driver for your delivery and unfortunately they were delayed. Our team remained in communication with you throughout the day and provided updates as soon as we had them. We also followed up with you by email after this review was posted to ensure you had the latest information.
We are a small, in-person Customer Service team, and our Friday afternoons are dedicated to responding to and resolving as many customer enquiries as possible. While our telephone lines have limited opening hours, our team continued to work on your query and provide updates throughout the afternoon.
We appreciate that this doesn't change the frustration of the delayed delivery, but we did everything we could to keep you updated and get your bike to you as quickly as possible. We hope that, now delivered, you're able to enjoy your Wattbike.
Superb Wattbike repair and service
I had cross threaded my pedal and my Atom was overdue a service. Kelvin fixed everything and got me back on my bike. He was knowledgeable and put up with all my questions in a very friendly way

Fantastic training tool for cyclists
Fantastic training tool for cyclists. Appears to be very well built and has a solid feel on the bike. This is particularly good when completing all out sprints. Not all trainers feel this stable. The adjustability is very good indeed.
I would definitely recommend that cyclists use the app to change the way the gears are set up so that they match your outdoor bike, ie left buttons for front chain ring changes and right buttons for rear cassette.
ERG mode is not as solid as the Wahoo Kickr that I’ve been using for the last five years. The Kickr nails the power target every time. The Wattbike doesn’t and seems slow to react to increased or decreased cadence. I have read that this can be an issue when using a third party training platform such as Zwift or Rouvy, so I need to compare with ERG mode whilst using the Wattbike app.

Your recommendation around setting up the gear buttons to mirror your outdoor bike is really useful, and I'm sure other cyclists will appreciate that tip.
I'm sorry to hear that you've found ERG mode less responsive than your previous trainer. There can be differences in how ERG mode behaves across different training platforms, so it would be interesting to hear how you find it when using the Wattbike app. If you continue to experience issues, please do get in touch with our Customer Service team and we'd be happy to take a closer look.
