Good buying experience but tax due
Kept well informed on status of shipment, but it took almost a month and the box was stopped at customs for tax which I had to pay over 125 USD here in HK

In response to your concern, we can assure you that all cigars that we sell are 100% authentic. We are in the cigar industry for more than 20 years and so the trust from our customers is strong. All cigars we buy from Habanos official distributors. All boxes comes sealed with official habanos security seals. If you compare one box of cigars to another please be sure to follow the following steps: ):
1. Each cigar box is unique piece of art, you need to be sure that you compare exactly the same boxes of the same product. Cohiba Robustos wooden box can only be compared to the other box of Cohiba Robustos and not with Cohiba Siglo III or Cohiba Siglo IV.
Each box has its own unique elements that are different from one box to another.
2. Habanos change the format of cigars from time to time and improve cigar box design including the cigar rings periodically, so if you compare the box of Cohiba Robustos please check the production date indicated in the bottom of the box: usually it has the format of Month and Year like for example NOV 19, means that it was produced in November 2019. Its completely normal that you find differences of the box design if they were produced in the different period of time.
A box that is produced in November 2019 could be completely different from the box produced in January 2020.
To be 100% sure you need to compare the cigar produced in the same year. Sometimes you could even see the differences of the boxes that are produced during the same year, its possible that in November 2019 the factory produce old format and starting from December 2019 they start to use the new format of the box. The change is completely normal and not all boxes are always the same.
