Been a member here for over eight years and the recent renovation has transformed it into one of the best fitness spaces around. Spacious and modern with a wide range of equipment, catering to everyone—from those focused on cardio to those diving into resistance training or HYROX-style workouts. The sauna is easily one of the best in Leeds, with it's consistently high temperature, and the addition of the ice bath, is the perfect way to unwind after a tough session and adds a touch of luxury. The only drawback can be the parking which can be a challenge during busy periods.

Overall, this is an outstanding gym with top-tier facilities, excellent variety, and special mention to the friendly reception staff! 🙌🏽 Highly recommended for anyone serious about their fitness or just looking for a great place to train. The 25% discount in the bar/restaurant is also a top perk!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place genuinely deserves one.

Village Bristol Gym has become my absolute favourite place to work out. What really sets it apart is the variety and quality of the classes — they’re not just the usual routines you find everywhere else. Each session feels fresh, engaging, and actually something to look forward to rather than a chore.

The trainers are a huge part of what makes this gym special. They’re not only incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but also genuinely approachable and supportive. No matter your level, they take the time to help, encourage, and make sure you’re getting the most out of every session. You can tell they really care about what they do and the people they’re training.

There’s such a positive atmosphere here — it’s always a joy to walk in and an even bigger pleasure to work out alongside such a great team. It’s rare to find a gym that gets this balance right, but Village Bristol absolutely does.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just a standard gym experience.

Village Bournemouth - Oh I absolutely love this place ! I joined when it first opened… stayed for 6/7 years. Loved every second but the class timetable didn’t suit my work hours so I left for Fitness First. This soon was taken over by BH Live and I was straight back to The Village. I’ll never cheat on them again ha!!
The vibe is great, 25m pool is rare in a health club so that’s great. I love the classes and I love strength training . Couldn’t recommend enough 💪

Awful company.... don't waste your money. They cannot be trusted with anything. I have a major issue with their management disclosing my confidential personal data to another gym member who was causing me problems so not only did they risk my safety, it is also breaking GDPR. Their head office is aware and taking it further.

Cancellation period is a complete ruse. Why would you need 3 months cancellation. Absolutely ridiculous and it's purely there to extend their money by 1-2 months more.

The team here keep the place immaculate, and are always polite and friendly. Tommy came to the rescue this morning as i locked my locker key in the locker. Good job Tommy had a pair of bolt croppers (Tommy is a member of staff btw) always friendly and helpfull thanks Tommy top lad.

There are persistent problems with equipment, including multiple machines not functioning properly. In addition, there are not enough benches available for members, and access to dumbbells is frequently restricted as they are consistently used for classes, creating an overcrowded and inadequate training environment.

These issues mean that the service being provided is not of a reasonable standard and does not meet what was agreed under my membership.

Don’t recommend this gym to anyone who really needs proper training!

Cory at Village Gym Swindon is amazing. So helpful and had amazing customer service and customer care which is a rare combination. He really always tries to go above and beyond. Please pass on my thanks for all his genuine care he showed aver a very long period of time not only to me bit to everyone at the Village Gym Swindon!

Been a member of the gym for 2.5yrs, fantastic 👌 facilities for all walks of life, staff are very professional, helpful, supportive,friendly and kind. Nothing is "too much trouble ", best swimming pool and aqua gym classes. Very clean. High recommended especially thanks to Tyler and Chelsea brilliant team. 💯

This is a review for Cheadle. Inappropriate staff changing rules daily for a junior member. Ruining the experience daily, by staff not actually knowing the rules of the club then taking it out on customers. When adult males are confronting my daughter who has asd. And I step in too be called aggressive . Shocking and disgusting behaviour and I won’t be letting it go with a few bad reviews. Stuart the manager needs too take a customer service course. Then maybe he can teach some of his staff. Don’t get me wrong some of the staff there are great just a few that behave like bully’s

I’m am disabled after suffering a major stroke and was a member until a few days ago, one day because of my condition I forgot my towel and wallet, I asked at reception if I could borrow one and was told I would have to pay £2.50 for one or drip dry and there was no flexibility in there rules! I did have the multi gym membership but as I wasn’t using it I cancelled it a week before the end of the month, this was still taken from my bank and when I asked for a refund I was basically told tough, you’re not getting one and if you don’t like it, you can leave, just put in a request online to cancel your membership. With customer service like that I did exactly as they told me to, I’d rather be with a company that has proper customer service

This afternoon we had a Aqua Instructor filling in for Rob .
He was Excellent , very fluid with his moves and different .
A very good workout . Well done to the Instructor .

Wife had a car crash it been horrendous for our family.. but they are after us after informing them with debt collectors.. disgrace don't sign up with them ever

Rachel's Zumba Gold and AquaZumba Classes are always very Enjoyable and a great way to get some Exercise.
Rachel is always very Pleasant and Friendly she welcomes you into her Class. Her Zumba routines are easy to Follow and she makes it a Fun Class.

I really enjoy all the classes. It's a great way to meet people and make friends whilst working out. It doesn't even feel like you're exercising. The music is great too

Joined the gym three years ago and was initially happy with it but ever since, the level of service i have received has dropped. The jacuzzi i regularly out of use, the sauna and steam room are unhygienic and not properly maintained. The changing facilities are in disrepair, most of the lockers don't work, showers are all faulty. Gym equipment has gradually been removed and never replaced. Paying over £70 per month does not seem justifiable for this level of service which brought me to cancel. 90 day cancellation period means I'm paying another £210 that I am not able to get away from paying or else my details will be forwarded on to the gyms debt collection agency... If you do see past all of these highlights and end up joining, the staff that work in the gym are all lovely and friendly

I did put a glowing review once for this place.
But i got attacked in there changing rooms due to the type of people they let become members. I was only a member for 4 week my wife never even went as she was very ill with MS,
So i didn't want to make any issues for them so i said due to my mental illness i was suffering before i came there the place doesnt fit my needs to keep my mental health in good place.
This lot like robot are now hounding ke for almost £276 to not use there gym! Its sickening how they treat u. Now all i get is emails after email chasing money...
Please say well clear from these gyms they have no care for u or ur health just there bank balance is all they want. Very selfish group.

Myself and my wife joined the Village gym Maidstone today and Jess our host and very professional lady who helped us sign up was so helpful and friendly and explained all of the options for us. We were very impressed with Jess and all of the other team members who we met and we can’t wait to start our new life journey with a great facility for all ages and abilities.
