Viking Electrical are very efficient and professional company. They completed a complicated split solar array install including a connection to an existing battery. We are very happy we got them to do the job.

Viking were always honest about their offer and never oversold unlike other suppliers we contacted. The installation was installed as promised and works well. There was a delay in removing the scaffolding by subcontractors but Viking were always very communicative and responsive. A query about the correct shutdown procedure for the battery and inverter was handled promptly.
After a few weeks delay, not Vikings fault, today we finally have the MPAN Number from SP Energy networks to apply to our energy supplier for our Smart Export Guarantee to get paid for our exported electricity.
Viking were very informative about the whole cumbersome process and guided us through it. We would recommend Viking above other suppliers who are constantly advertising

We had been researching the installation of solar panels for a long time. We had quotes from other companies but weren't 100% happy with reviews.
During research we found that the advice was to go local & Viking Electricals name popped up.
So after reading the reviews we decided to phone company & spoke with Nick.
Nick came across as really informative, answered many of our questions. There was no hard sell to go with Viking. A few days later , Chris did a home visit, assessed our property, Gave us a price & date for installation, again no hard sell. With the information & advice from Nick & Chris, we decided to choose Viking.
The solar panels were installed on 10/08/2026. The whole team from scaffolders, panel installers & electrician were very informative about the whole process on the day. Everything went very smoothly.
After the install, the electrician, Sean, took the time to talk us through the Alpha ESS app.
Stuart, admin. manager , was always at the end of the phone from the start of the process, during install & afterwards to help us with any queries.
Would highly recommend all the team at Viking Electricals for making the whole process trouble free.

Brilliant service start to finish. Communication was superb and fast. Tidy job, polite, on time, simply good people.

We were looking for AIKO/Longi installers in Scotland and found Viking as the recommended one. Very professional team, they quickly produced a quote, visited the property and scheduled installation three weeks later, which is amazing! Zero hassle, very professional, courteous and skilled. They were happy to install panels on the flat roof, which is not something that many installers can offer. Even though the installation was proven to be difficult, they managed to complete the project within few hours. No damages to the facade or the roof, everything has been skilfully installed and cables were neatly tucked it, bird nets installed. Quick battery installation too. Really pleased with the level of service and reasonable price, will definitely use them again. All our neighbours are now thinking about installing solar panels too and we will most definitely recommend them Viking Electrical ☺️

The whole process from order to installation and even completing my feed in paperwork was stress free and delivered in a professional and friendly manner. Between the survey and the actual installation we had a substantial pergola installed on our deck which required Viking to change their delivery solution and process on the fly to accommodate this which they did on the ground with very little notice. I am extremely pleased with all elements of Vikings service from first contact to delivery/installation (even following up to ensure my tariff feed in was complete and earning me cash back from my energy supplier).

I’ve been extremely pleased with the service provided by Viking from start to finish. Unlike some other companies I contacted, everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to answer any questions.

Just got solar panels fitted by Viking Electrical. The work did not go smoothly : the tiles were a problem as they could not be removed easily, and the inverter they received was faulty (first time it happened to them for that supplier). They did what they had to to complete the work nevertheless, without additional charges and to a very good standard. I would definitely recommend them.

Chris from Viking did an in-person site survey, where he picked up things that others had missed, and proposed a solution which was better suited to my requirements, wants and needs.

The pricing was competitive and in line with my expectations.

The battery installation was perfect.he electrician was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand the layout of my house, where things were to be positioned, and where I wanted cables to be run.

The battery is working very well indeed and complements my existing solar installation.

The install happened on the day arranged; all subcontractors were good tradesmen, and the electrical engineer was especially good and left the property spotless.

There were no pressure selling tactics that I experienced from other companies, all the people I have had conversations with have been really knowledgeable and have responded very promptly throughout the process to any queries I had, the installation was carried out in one day in a very professional way, with everything left very tidy. I had Viking electrical fit some Alpha batteries and invertor to my house it’s something I had considered for some time . My son in law had just had this system fitted by Viking and I was very impressed with the job they had done . So I contacted them and to say they were fantastic to deal with is an understatement from the first phone call to the installation it was an amazing and very professional service .i will be installing solar panels next and it’s a job that i will happily get Viking to do . 10/10

Once again the Viking team have done a great job at a competitive price. They are a great company to work with not the cheapest and not the most expensive but certainly in my opinion the most helpful no questions are to much and nothing seems to faze them. I would highly recommend these guys and girls.

Viking were recommended to me by a relative who had used their services. From my first contact with Viking until our system(s) went live I could not fault the service we received. We live fairly remotely, they agreed to come survey, discuss options and quote. We discussed options on size of the installation and they were forthright with advice when they thought I was over specifying. No sales pressure just solid friendly advice. Once specs agreed and schedule set everything went to plan. Installation team were friendly and informative. I had put off getting solar installed mainly due to concern who to trust to do it. Now we are live and we have a neat well installed system I am very satisfied. We are 3 weeks in and they have stayed in contact checking if we have any concerns or questions. Well done guys! Been a pleasure.

We were directed to Viking by GivEnergy after another company went cold- the contact and communications have been excellent throughout. Really clear discussion over the telephone to get an idea of what we were looking for, transparent costs from an early stage as well.
Chris came out to visit and was not in a rush, really thorough and helpful chat- then booking process with Stuart was easily done with the team arriving promptly and cracking on with the installation.
Battery enlargement and EV charger installation completed and working great. Follow up to ensure all going to plan as well.
Have already recommended to friends nearby who are considering solar/EV- would recommend to everyone
