Excellent Experience Working with Briona and Team
My experience working with Vida has been wonderful. I felt my matchmaker, Briona Sutherland, really went above and beyond, getting to know me and understand what makes me tick. She's very professional and quick to respond to my (often) many questions. The personalized approach has made all the difference to me.
I also appreciated all of Vida's efforts helping to spruce up my profile and getting me new, improved photos. Totally satisfied working with everyone else at Vida and no issues with the number of matches I'm getting either. Loving the service!

I was really impressed with Vida Select’s service. My matchmaker (Nordika Hawkens) really understood which apps to target and knew how to curate a strong profile gave me a lot of confidence. I'm a busy professional and was skeptical at first about trying this. Honestly the setup took way longer than expected - took almost 3 weeks before things got going, which was frustrating when you're paying for results. But once we went live, within literally days I started seeing results. Had 3 dates in one weekend (!) and one of them I am still dating and falling in love with. The slow start was frustrating, but I'm giving this 5 stars because at the end of the day, I met someone amazing and that was literally the whole point. Can't complain when I found what I was looking for.

I signed up with VIDA Select in Feb…
I signed up with VIDA Select in Feb 2025, paying for their premium matchmaking package, expecting professional and personalized service based on their marketing. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. After three months, I was not introduced to a single match, despite assurances of curated, compatible profiles.
The process started with a lengthy intake call, which felt thorough, and of course they make big promises. My assigned matchmaker Francesca Wright and Nordika Hawken sent me matches that did not meet my criteria even after long conversations detailing what I was looking for, and follow-up emails and calls were frustrating and unhelpful. I was told matches were being considered but no profiles were ever presented. For the high cost, I expected proactive updates and at least a few introductions, but I received neither.
Even their Client Services Manager Rosalia Silva was unable to help after I voiced my concerns.
When I raised concerns, the team offered vague explanations about "market challenges" and suggested upgrading to a more expensive package for better results, which felt like an upsell tactic. They should offer a refund for not delivering anything except frustration.
Overall, the service failed to deliver on its promises. I caution others to carefully research before investing such a significant sum with VIDA Select, as my experience yielded zero results and poor customer service.
If VIDA wants to dispute any of the claims I'm making I have all the receipts and communication records. I'm happy to share them with anything that wants to see them.

I've carefully reviewed your account, and while I appreciate your feedback, I need to respectfully clarify a few points to ensure accuracy for others reading this review.
Service Timeline: Our records show you paid for one month of premium matchmaking service beginning March 7, 2025 (not three months as mentioned). We actually offered pauses and extensions during your service period at no additional cost while working to address your concerns.
Match Presentations: I can confirm that profiles were presented to you. On May 11, 2025, your matchmaker shared three profiles from our database, which you acknowledged receiving, noting at the time that they helped "gauge your interest." We also did present scouted profiles to you as well, several of which you approved. While these initial matches didn’t all meet your criteria exactly, this feedback process is crucial for refining our search parameters, especially early on in the Matchmaking process.
Communication Improvements: We heard your concerns about your communication with your initial Matchmaker, and that’s why we reassigned you. I was pleased to see your May 11th message to your new Matchmaker: "There's already been a noticeable 10x improvement in communication which I appreciate greatly." We took your feedback seriously and acted on it.
Package Recommendations: Rather than suggesting upgrades, our records show we actually offered renewal options that were lower in both hours and cost than your original package.
I think it’s important to note that our explanations about ‘market challenges’ weren’t vague, but based on demographics information from your geographical area. Your specific religious and political preferences don’t necessarily line up with what the majority of people in your area identify with. Therefore this was our attempt to be realistic about the challenges and the timeframe, as such a search can take more time.
While our service agreement clearly states that results cannot be guaranteed, success typically requires both adequate time and client cooperation with professional recommendations. Most of our successful clients work with us for 3-4 months, as this allows us to truly understand preferences and expand our search effectively.
In your case we did also recommend some search strategies including platform upgrades that would enable filtered searches for your preferred religion, and even faith-specific dating platforms. These could have significantly expanded our search capabilities for your specific preferences, but you declined these recommendations.
I reached out to you on May 19, 2025, hoping to address any remaining concerns, and again after seeing this review. Neither of those emails received a reply. My door remains open if you'd like to discuss this further - you can reach me directly at client.success.manager@vidaselect.com.
While I'm sorry we couldn't achieve the results you hoped for in the timeframe available, I appreciate you giving us the opportunity to work with you. We're constantly evolving our processes based on client feedback like yours.

VIDA was excellent
VIDA was excellent such a better experience than trying to do the apps on my own. Nordika is probably the number one reason for this she explained the unusual way the matchmaking works. She was very wise in all my communication with her and always gave me great advice. She was always available to reach.

The staff at Vida were so wonderful—especially my matchmaker Nordika, who was helpful, thoughtful, empathetic, and super responsive. They helped me reshape my profile, put a lot of work into conversing with the various matches, and helped me set up some nice dates. And Although I did not meet a match this time around, would definitely try again in the future.

VIDA Select made dating effortless
VIDA Select made dating effortless. My matchmaker, Shyne, handled all the logistics regarding constructing narratives and my pictures for my dating profiles. All I had to do was show up to dates.
After the first month, I had already gone on a few dates.
The process was smooth, and the matches were carefully selected. If you’re looking for a hands-off approach to dating with quality matches, I’d recommend giving them a shot!

Nordika and her team were excellent! I was even overwhelmed with the number of people they introduced to me. Nordika was passionate about her job and very quick in response. The only reason I am giving 4 stars, is because the substitute person when Nordika was out of town was not that helpful. Overall, I had a great experience!

I had a great experience with Vida Selects. The matchmaker, Nordika Hawken, was very nice, responsive and attentive. She understood my personality and what I was looking for. Nordika gave lots of helpful tips and advice. With Vida’s help, I’ve been able to better optimize my online profiles, engage in a more dynamic way and meet very interesting individuals. I have made useful connections with a lot of potential. I quite hopeful that these connections lead to an actual relationship very soon.

Vida work their magic on the apps
I've worked with Francesca from Vida since one month. She helped me by setting up dating profiles on a selected services in the UK and calibrating the search to my preferences.
She was very knowledgeable about the best quality dating sites, she listened to my preferences and recorded everything diligently to share with the scout and the writer who are active on the sites on my behalf.
We are in regular contact and I can monitor the conversations as much or as little as I want to, without the risk of losing the conversation momentum.
I feel like the team represents me well in a consistent manner by engaging with the potential matches and going through predictable yet necessary questions to filter through the potential candidates for meeting up in real life. They are graceful and act as gatekeepers for me which allows me to keep a peace of mind and save my energy for the real life dates while they work their magic on the apps.
I have so far been on one good date with high quality match, and there are a number planned for the following weeks.
If this doesn’t work, I don’t know what will. Thanks and let’s keep up the good work!

Avoid / Scam
After paying the membership fee, a matchmaker provided a calendar with no availability for an intake video call. Once the video call was established, the matchmaker did not participate by video; only audio. A full month passed without any follow-up. I finally reached out for a refund, to which Vida responded that they had no legal obligation to do so. The matchmaker scrambled to provide a handful of potential matches. Three were in LA. I live in SF. The other were over an hour away, outside of SF. This was Vida's last communication, over four months ago. No follow-up, complete silence. The membership fee yielded five profiles, no dates and no pro-active communication/effort. Only a singular response to a refund request.

The service you purchased is our internal database membership. This includes one proactive search of our database of current and former clients for prospective matches. After evaluating the candidates, we then facilitate a connection if there is mutual interest. Following this initial search, your profile remains available in our database for potential matching for life or until you opt out! This is a significant benefit as new clients join our service regularly.
Regarding the specific issues you mentioned:
Video calls: We aim to accommodate our clients' schedules and preferences for video or phone calls for a more personal experience. I apologize that this wasn't your experience.
Follow-up communication: Our standard practice involves regular updates. The lack of follow-up you experienced is not in line with our usual procedures. Without access to your account details, I cannot investigate what happened in your specific case.
Match locations: We aim to provide matches within the specified geographic preferences. However, if we’re unable to provide matches that meet all of your criteria (and vice versa) in a specific location, we may look further afield specifically at matches who’ve noted they’re willing to travel or relocate.

Nordika and her team were AMAZING
Nordika and her team were AMAZING! I was skeptical at first, but then I spoke on the phone with Nordika and she showed complassion, encouragement and treated me like a friend/sister throughout the 2 months. It takes promptness to help VIDA communicate with the matches. Don't Delay! Although, I never got to the stage of an actual date, but I do not regret it. It was fun and energizing!
