I have several models of Venta Air
I have several models of Venta Air: original model, air washers, humidifiers, and air purifier. I still have all of them all. They absolutely do make a great difference. Keep the air clear, sucks up dust, keeps humidity at preferred settings in the various rooms. Brilliant technology!

Might work better under different circumstances
I bought this as a bed side unit. I live in the Mojave dessert and its rare to be over 15% humidity. Dry mouth is so unpleasant. Over all I am disappointed in this unit for my application because of the following: The fan on my unit is vary unbalanced. This means the life of the product could be very short. The imbalance also creates more noise. On low I can sleep with the unit near by(noise is similar to a white noise generator). On medium power it keeps me awake. On high even my dog(yellow lab) prefers the floor in a nother room to the bed near the unit. Further more the unit simply does not evaporate enough to make a difference. On high is seems to work well, proving the filterless concept works. However, combining my expectations with the poor function and less than tolerable noise levels, means the exorbitant price I paid is not worth the what I had hoped.

We are sorry to hear of your experience so far, but will be happy to provide ways to optimze the performance of your device. We have had customers in desert climates for decades who enjoy the benefits of optimal humidification with proper placement and operation. First, you will want to ensure the device is placed on the floor with a minimum clearance of 18-20 inches on all sides, including above, for optimal air flow. Next, we do recommend running the device 24/7 on the highest speed for the inital 7-10 days. During this time objects in your space such as furniture, flooring, books, plants, musical instruments, and other textiles will be absorbing the moisture first, before it can be dispursed into the air. If the square footage of the total coverage area surpasses the estimated coverage, the device will struggle to get to optimal levels, so we recommend closing the door while running the device. Any area that cannot be closed off such as hallways, stairways, lofts, or similar does need to be included in the total coverage area.

I appreciate the prompt response and my previous problem has been resolved. However, I wonder if it's normal the machine keeps the humidity around 30 degree mostly but my goal is 50 while I set the AUTO model in a 250 sqft bedroom.

I have purchased eight VENTA humidifiers over many decades. They are quiet, effective, and provide the correct level of humidity for our home. LW 25 has improved over the years with a simpler mode selection. I have just bought a LW15 for a smaller room.

This is my 4th venta
This is my 4th venta! One stopped working so it was used for parts. I absolutely love this product. Quiet and does exactly what it claims to do. Now I need to get 2 more smaller ones to cover my upstairs bedrooms.

LW25+ Deficiency
I purchased the LW25+ in December. I experience the low water fault routinely when in fact there is still plenty of water in the tank. Customer service has been very helpful in regard to cleaning the metal straps on each side of the tank. This has to be done on a regular basis and is really quite a nuisance. If I had been aware of this I may have considered the standard model or another manufacturer. Obviously the company is aware of this issue and has generated a procedure to address what I would consider to be a design problem that nevertheless leaves the end user with a labor intensive remedy.

The water indicator will illuminate once the water level is depleted to a certain level as a safety mechanism, to ensure that the motor does not become overstrained. If you have hard water density or are not using the Water Treatment Additive, you will need to clean the components more frequently. For additional suggestions on how to optimize the performance of your humidifier, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.
