Still have my money 4 weeks later and I have nothing
Basically ordered an iPad 4 weeks ago. Was made promises that never came to anything. Asked for refund, 7 days later still waiting for confirmation to say it has even been sent let alone received. I'm extremely dissappointed at the length of time this company has had my money and don't expect much from them soon. Reading other people's experience I will soon be repeating as fraud and starting chargeback proceedings with bank.
In response to the reply . Whilst it seems very genuine I don't believe it for one minute. It is now nearly 2 weeks and I haven't received anything. Fortunately it is now in the hands of a fraud team so I don't have to commicate with this company again. Their emails and phone conversations will never give anything concrete even when asked in a direct manner. Ruthless company quite happy to sit on people's savings to make a bit of interest.
I would advise anyone with simular issues to go to their bank for advice.

The Reviews are Right
I ordered a $655 lens on April 19th, May 1st I was told there was a delay, May 16 I requested an order cancellation, and as of today June 6th I still don't have my refund, my account page says "Refund Request Escalated"
It seems like the reviews are correct, some of the more inexpensive purchases go through normally but anything big ticket like mine they sit on it with promise upon promise to keep your money as long as they can.

Constantly being fobbed off
I order a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + on the 18th May with an estimated delivery of between 5-8 days. Having now chased up the order 3 times and being told there is a delay a backlog and that I am now a priority, they still cannot provide even an estimate for dispatch let alone delivery.
I finally lost patience today and after another fob off response by email today 6th June, I sent a further email requesting either confirmation of dispatch today as it supposedly in the warehouse, or a full refund.
I asked for a response within two hours given all other email responses had been almost instantaneous. However, now the phone line is having technical problems!!! and no email is forthcoming.
I am extremely frustrated and would echo other reviews that the level of customer service and response is wholly inadequate. They have had my money for 3 weeks, yet still no delivery date in sight.
If you can ever get the offer of a refund, take it.

At least they delivered the item
I was horrified by the previous reviews, particularly because I had already ordered £1,750 worth of camera from them. Today it actually arrived, much to my relief, 6 business days after my order. So whilst their service is dire in the communications department, they look like a genuine company that is simply lousy at customer care (phones down 'with technical problems', out-of-date order status on my account, etc). I recommend customers wait patiently for the goods from Hong Kong/China etc., and do not try to cancel. Therein lie much bigger problems. They are also very cheap (VAT evasion or similar?).
Worst Experience Ever!!!!
I ordered Nikon d5500 on 15th May with a hope that i 'll get the camera by the holidays.Now almost 4 weeks has passed and still i have not received the camera.I tried to call but failed and at last i wrote a mail which i got reply stating apologies for delay and not a single word about dispatch.They are saying that they have backlog but if you will search the same item in their site strangely u'll find these available that too in huge number.I was lured by the price they were offering.Now i have learnt that price not everything.......
By Far my worst experience ever!!!I am not going to suggest anyone to buy from this site ever....If you care for yourself and your money dont fall for this trap...so called Valuebasket.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A nightmare. A total nightmare if you receive a defect product.
This company is in Hong Kong. Ignore all their money back guarantee hocus, they will never get back to you after they ask you three times for pictures, serial number etc. After a week and a half of dealing with them without a response I filed a PayPal claim. Finally they agreed through PayPal to refund my purchase. Just ship it to: Workshop A, 10/F, Wah Shing Industrial Building, 18 Cheung Shun Street, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon, Hong Kong and you'll get your refund. This shipping will cost at least $100 for a $300 tablet. Some customer service experience. I would never have ordered this if I knew it was coming from HONG KONG! GO TO HE'LL VALUEBASKET.
Least professional company I have ever shopped from!! Do not use!
So I ordered a laptop with the hope it would arrive within a week or two which i their "claimed regular shipment time". That did not happen and I got a delay on the status without a notification. Ok, so I email customer support and they claim a small backlog, but item will be shipped soon. This was after two weeks. I email them again after 3 and 4 weeks and they say item will be shipped asap - but nothing happened. I go on a business trip for a few weeks and when I come back to the office still no laptop. I finally call customer support 8 weeks after I ordered the item and there is still "a small backlog".. What kind of useless excuse is that.. for 8 weeks of delay.. and on the website there are still several "in stock" items of the same as I bought.
Please do yourself a big favor and avoid!!!
Unreliable
I place an order for a Nikon D3300 with Lents 21/5/16, web site say local products (false) from Hong Kong, shipped 2-5 business days (false) I receive my confirmation mail saying 5-8 business days shipped(false) my money went to Gibraltar ( I don't know why) after 9 b. days waiting for a camera for my holidays and reading all the complaints with delays and problems and the excuses I read from others that I also received I just want my money to get the camera soon to my holidays.

Why did I give them a Second Chance?
Last year (August) I placed an order for a camera lens, after 4 weeks or so I had still not received my delivery so I chose to cancel the order and obtain my refund which they did - eventually.
Fast forward to now, I felt I should give this 'company' the benefit of the doubt and try once more.. I placed an order for another lens, the 5 working days has now surpassed and my account states that 'there is a slight backlog with my order, and will be dispatched asap,'
Basically I'm feel that I'm going through a replica process of what I went through last year. Having since read the reviews on this 'company' on this site, it seems that everyone is singing the same song, and the fact that they have over £1,200 of my money makes me nervous.
I even watched an American youtube video review of this 'company' from last year, who claimed that when you ring their contact number you will be be greeted with an automated message about "telephone technical difficulties and to place try again later" almost as a matter of practice... I tried myself to ring the number to be greeted with exactly the same message - I didn't know wether to laugh or cry.
As a result, my benefit of the doubt has been proven wrong, I have absolutely no confidence in this 'company' whatsoever.
The fact that they have 'low prices' should not persuade you to purchase, because if something is too good to be true, then it usually is.
I suggest you try a more reliable and reputable company who stand by what they promise.

2 Month of delay and still not shipped
I ordered the Sony a7II camera in 04-07-2016, and near two months after I have not yet received my order.
Every time I email the customer service, they promptly reply that the order is delayed (yep), and will be shipped out as soon as possible, which is one month and half ago, and 2 weeks ago. They then closed the support ticket.
Given that the claimed shipping date is no more than 15 days, this is pretty unacceptable.
Price is not everything when it comes to buying products
AVOID - Order a Samsung S7 from Value basket because it was going to save me £150-£250 if I was to go somewhere but as with anything its not always about price. The companies business model is flawed as they're attracting consumers taking a hit on their profit to then bring in more custom but then not doing the most important thing, and that's meeting customer expectations as they're happy to take your money from your bank but then when it comes to delivering the item, it's no where to be seen. Ordered the S7 on 24th May and just called CS to be told that it would be dispatched later next week possibly the 10th June so If they do dispatch it on the 10th then wait another 3 days for it to be delivered (so they say anyway) then that's 3 weeks in total from ordering my phone (that I was looking forward to getting) to get it delivered. By far my worst buying experience ever!!!!

BUYER BEWARE!
I initially gave this company a scathing review after non-delivery of my goods in more than a month. In the interests of fairness I should now report back that at least they did the right thing by refunding my money, in full and quickly, once I finally cancelled in frustration.
So in this, at least, they are honourable -- even though I would still advise anyone seduced by their low prices to be very aware that your order may not be fulfilled and you may be fobbed off by delaying tactics. 'Caveat emptor' as the famous phrase goes!

I read with some horror the reviews of Value Basket once I had placed my order. I was worried what might happen. However, I have to say the service from them has been first rate. Delivery was a little slow but I suppose the Nikon lens I ordered was coming from the far east. I Emailed the company after a week or so to find out where my item was. I received a reply within 12 hours to say the lens had just been dispatched. It arrived 5 days later. All the while I was kept up to date via email with tracking information. I have nothing but praise for Value Basket. I saved myself over £100 for the sake of waiting a few extra days. One very happy customer. Thanks you.
This company is a scam. Avoid at all costs. Thieves.
After making a purchase of in stock items they never delivered anything over months of waiting even after countless emails and hassling. They reply with generic responses which don't relate to anything you ask them and ignore accusations of being a scam. They hold the items in a queue saying they will be sent when they have dealt with their backlog of orders and they are now doing the same with my refund saying 'Your refund request is in queue and will be processed as soon as possible. A refund confirmation email will be sent to you upon completion.' They are now illegally holding my money. This is now theft.
They also say their phone lines are having technical difficulties but this has been the same for weeks now.

Terrible warranty service
Bought a LG G4 off Value basket a few months ago. Phone developed a fault which is a common issue with the phone. Something LG has admitted is an issue and will fix under warranty.
Valuebasket seem intent on not honoring their warranty. Its been two weeks and they're still wasting my time. Its obvious to me they have no intention if fixing the issue. I'll never buy from them again

Warning! Do not use this site, it is simply a scam. I have attempted to order a Samsung Glaxy s7 silver and it never came, after waiting weeks. I then proceeded to ask for a refund, which still hasn't come. All that has happened is that the group of scammers have emailed me with excuses why nothing has happened, such as a "Backlog in stock", which is rubbish as their website says that they currently have stock. To get my money back for this order, I am now having to get my bank to contact their back and force a refund. This website is despicable. Only order if you like giving money away.

For weeks we have tried to obtain a refund lf 280GBP for SHURE headset which never arrived despite Value Basket saying a refund was made April. When we ask for lroff repaymwnt and to whixh acxlunt they refuse to give details. We have learnt many have experienced the exact same experience. This company neeeds to be exposed. We are asking anyone and posting on various review sites for people tlo come forward.
We also note now your fraud is within the public domain your replies are no longer handled by your baseline staff but have been escalated
I am encouraged to hear our predicament matches many who have has the misfortune to have used your company
I am advised to continue posting up as many sites as possible to warn others of the fraudulent manner in which our order has been handled. It is a criminal offence to take money as you have done, hiding in the covert manner as your company operates. We shall do everything within our power to publicise the scandalous way your company operates.

Savings all gone?
I'm 15 years old, from the Netherlands and ordered 2 weeks ago a new samsung galaxy s6. I saved my workmoney for 1 and a half years long. First I thought this site was great if it could save me a few bucks but now I don't trust it due to the sending-time. I have just cancelled my order and I'm hoping for a quick response so I can get my money back and go to a trusted site in the Netherlands. I'm sure a few of the other people will get their order but I don't think I will get my order soon since it has to come from Hong-Kong (probably shipped as well which will take a long time). I hope tommorow my phone will arrive and otherwise I want my money instantly back on my account. If this doesn't happen I will inform the Consumentenbond.
