DO NOT USE VALUEBASKET
- Purchased a product on Valuebasketcom.au, knowing they take 10 business days to deliver. Ordered 20th April. Expected deliver 5th May.
- Product did not arrive after 10 business days. I chased them up and was advised there was a slight delay but it should arrive 9th of May. Missing mothers day gift!
- 3 weeks past - still not delivery
- 4 weeks and nothing. I requested to cancel the order and requested a full refund. 13th May.
- 18th May - followed up as not refund received. I was advised it would take 7 days to process.
- Today is t he 30th of May. Its been 6 weeks since order date, no product and no refund received. I will be going to the ACCC tomorrow morning if they do not respond to my final email.
Thankfully this was purchased on a credit card so I can have it charged back by the bank. I will be also requesting reimbursement for the charge back costs. Not holding my breath.
Refund problem
I ordered an ipad on 10thMay and cancelled within a few hours because I could not guarantee they could deliver in time for an 18th birthday, and not realising the company would be sending from Hong Kong.
Two days later the company took more than 500 euros from my account. Despite many emails the company are still saying it will take some time longer to give me a refund.
They should not have taken any money seeing as the order was already cancelled and now it looks as though I shall have to approach Mastercard through my bank to get my money back.
This company is definitely not ethical in its dealings with their clients and some may say that they are not to be trusted with their clients money.

Terrible service, waiting for money back

On 21 April 2016 I placed an order for an Apple Watch. The Valuebasket website identified 5 units in stock and promised shipping in 5-9 business days. It is now more than 5 weeks and still no indication of when my order will be shipped. I have contacted them and they have promised me that: “…will be dispatched from our warehouse latest on May 19, 2016 ”. It doesn’t happened. I have contacted them via telephone and after it they promised that I will get the money back. Right now I am waiting for it.
Terrible service
Absolutely terrible service / company. I was lured into the purchase by the price, however it has been four weeks and the goods are not even out for delivery. Every time I contact customer support they cannot advise on delivery dates, they just say as a gesture of goodwill they have updated the delivery to "priority", then "expedited" delivery status. Presumably the more times you ask the more statuses you order will go through...
Have now cancelled the order and am worried about the refund. We will wait and see.
False delivery info, false information regarding availability and sourcing
They claim they have local products and delivering in 5 days. In relaity the bring them form Hong kong and one month later still no delivery.
They reject giving money back or returning orders (lied again).
No answer to phone calls, mails or any other message. They don´t care about clients

IT'S A SHAME!!!
It's a shame!! Fail to meet their shipping time and more say they have a small DELAY when instead they wait weeks !!!! If you can not afford to hand to people in the time set by you avoid telling lies to the people !!!! I'm almost one month I ordered a product and still has not even been shipped !!! It's a shame!!! I want my product to be delivered NOW !!!! Otherwise I will take serious measures since been making my way damage the urgency I !!!!

Extremely Dissapointed - Reporting to ACCC
On 30 April 2016 I placed an order for an Olympus Pen-F camera. The Valuebasket web site identified 4 units in stock and promised shipping in 2-4 business days. It is now 4 weeks and still no indication of when my order will be shipped. My emails to customer service get canned responses, but no action.
I am now worried that I will never receive my goods.
Im not one to complain but.....
Having read some reviews online, I ordered myself a Samsung S7 phone which came up with the cheapest price on the net.
It said 5-7 working days, so I waited patiently.
Customer services replied to all my emails within a day or two, and was told there is a backlog.
Fair enough I thought, so continued waiting, then read reviews about product quality and endless waiting and thought, enough waiting I want a refund.
The best part of the experience was the swift refund.
That's all I can say.
45 days and counting.
I have ordered a Nikon D750 45 days ago, still waiting for it to be dispatched. I am getting copy/paste replies from the company to my emails, but no camera. I have ordered from them twice before and the items have arrived very late, I received them nonetheless. Not so sure now. I would have cancelled weeks ago, but people are having serious trouble receiving refunds. This company is clearly falling apart. Do not use, I know I won't give them my money again. I am drafting a complaint to UK trading standards right after I am finished here.

Extremely Bad Company
I ordered Huawei Mate 8 few days ago, I was excited to receive my phone. However, I have not heard anything about my order, even though I was told I would receive in 2-3 business days. I just hope this is not a scam.
I am moving at the end of this month, and I was hoping to receive my order before then. At least this was the plan. We here in the United States have lives, wherein we are not used to wait months and to receive an order as simple as a cell phone.
The management of this company should know that if they were doing honest business, their sales would increase a lot!!!!!
These people just know how to take your money very quickly.
Do not use
I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S7 and waited 1 month and didn't receive the item. I was told my order had been set to priority after 2 weeks.
Have received a refund nkw however was very disappointed and will not use their site again.

REFUND ME
I demand a refund now having waited beyond the agreed delivery date and still no sign of my order. If I do not receive a refund within the next 24hrs I will be disputing payment with the bank. As a Google Adwords specialist I will be escalating with my Account managers how this site is in breach of their Advertising Policy and will also be taking my case up with trading standards.

Is it a Scam???
Hi I ordered on the site the 10th of May for a quick delivery (3-5 days). I've already ordered on the site for 800€ and today for 1400€! I'm leaving the country the 27.05 and I still didn't receive anything.
I tried many times to contact them on the phone line and it looks to be a fake number (i tried on all international lines as well)
I need an emergency answer on my email asap! Or I want to be refunded quickly

Still waiting for a refund
I ordered a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens for €1692.99 on 26th April, they took the money and now nearly a month later still no lens.
I have made many purchases online with little problems so I was quite relaxed about ordering a product from Valuebasket even though I had no experience of them.
Never again!
I will from now on always check very carefully any online company after this ongoing experience with Valuebasket
I have now asked to cancel my order and get my money back.
Still waiting for my money back.
Update.
Valuebasket still have made no attempt to contact me or pay my money back.

DO NOT USE!!
I ordered 2 Fit Bits on 09/05/16 and when they had not even been dispatched in the timeframes stated on my order confirmation I started to worry. I then read reviews like this and panicked more.
After lots of very generic responses to my emails they eventually confirmed they did not have a dispatch date and advised me to cancel if I needed the items soon.
I cancelled the order on 17/05/16 and have this morning (24/05/16) received my refund.
I believe I only received the refund as I sent lots of emails to them and the last one asked for it to be escalated to a manager.
Since placing the order their phone line has mysteriously stopped working so the only method of contact is email and due to them being in Hong Kong (which I did not know before placing the email) the timing of getting a reply is not usually quick.
Please use a different company to purchase your electrical items.

Rip off company
I ordered a nikon d5500 on 26th April, they took the money from me on 27th April. It is now 23rd May and still no camera.
I have had enough of Value Basket. They are the most unprofessional online retailer I have ever ordered from.
Delaying tactics , lies, lies, and more lies. The last straw was this morning when they told me that they couldn't give me a dispatch date in case they couldn't meet the deadline and I would be dissapointed ! What a disgrace they are.
I've asked for a refund and I'll also be putting in a claim under Section 75 of the consumer credit act.

Unacceptable service & screening policy
Just cancelled an order for a Samsung S7. Got an email 3 days after ordering saying we need to provide additional proof of address for security reasons and links to other companies saying this is a normal screening process. What rubbish. This is a delaying tactic and at worse a security issue - we are not sending proof of address together with financial details to anyone. I expect we will now face a long refund process. Don't use this company - it might look cheap and there is a reason for that.

Withholding my money 10 days after cancellation of order
On 13th April I cancelled my order 1050945 - 567079 and received a ticket #CVV-174-54354, confirming that you received my cancellation. Until now (10 days later) my cacellation request has not been dealt with BY ANYONE, as evident from your website(I have made printscreens). In the meantime the status of my order has already been changed FOUR TIMES, now to QUEUEING UP.
If you do not transfer the money BACK to my account within the next 3 days, this will already be a BREACH of the Polish law. Also sending me the ordered items now, 10 days after the cancellation, would be a violation of the law. I will not only report your company officially to the Polish Consumer Office, but also inform customers in several languages about your behaviour on the relevant websites. I am NOT A BANK, and you have NO RIGHT to withhold the money after the order has been cancelled.
If you are not planning to announce bankruptcy within the next 3 days, I advice you to transfer the money back to my account before you are given an official BAN on trading in the Polish market.

It's not worth the hassle
Placed my order for a camera on 10th May 2016.
17th May informed (in Spanish) that the camera was out of stock (despite showing in stock every day, quantity varied between 2 and 5).
Declined the offer to choose an alternative product.
23rd May. Informed that my refund was being processed but allow a few days for it to appear. It only took a minute for them to take my money!
So, I'm waiting for my refund. I think it will come but if it doesn't then my credit card provider will have to foot the bill.
In summary, my experience echoes that of many reviews on this site; slow, poor communication, automated emails. I suspect that I was never going to receive my order; I wonder if Value Basket simply used me and my credit card to provide cash flow facilities.

Yes, I received my refund.
Your pathetic response suggesting you might learn from what went wrong and improve carries no weight; it is repeated many times but your service does not improve.
Your attempt to silence my review by suggesting you had no record of my transaction is also pathetic.
I suggest you stop taking orders that you cannot fulfill. Eventually, you will go bust and a lot of unsuspecting buyers are going to be very upset.
Avoid this company or risk losing your money.
