Took my money and did a runner. Contacted them, but got no reply.

Awful paid for code they couldn't provide it and still not refunded. Avoid these Scams artists

2 phones I gave them the details of to unlock and they couldn't do either so I'm waiting for refunds to come back £4.79 each

Avoid at all cost, orjust throw your money out of the window.

No chance of a unlock code just loose your money.

useless, bu at least got a refund with no problems.

So took the plunge and decided to fill in the online firm to unlock my phone. Price doubled on submission to £4.70 which compared to other companies is reasonable.

After 4 days I went and loggged onto the account as I hadn’t heard anything only to find they couldn’t unlock it.

Information said automatically refunded but 8 days later no refund. I then filled out the online question help form asking about a refund and 4 x hours later contacted by PayPal saying I have been refunded.

Whilst they couldn’t unlock it, and having to chase them they have refunded so I am no worse off. Hard to rate the service really so opted for a 3

They refund you. Your money ever if they don5 unlock your phone don't use this people .

Didn’t work, apparently there was no unlock code for my phone. Absolutely fine but instead of the automatic refund as promised in the email I had to ask for this money back. No comm. but refund issued via PayPal. Which I would have read these reviews first!

was slightly annoyed that it was advertised as £1.99 but cost is £4.49 when you get to payment screen, but carried on as still felt this resonable.

My real issue is, you wait days and finally get an email to say it's unsuccessful and you will recieve a refund within 5 days. This refund will not come unless you start a case with paypal, where you will find a message from the seller telling you that if you dispute it will take 3 further weeks to resolve and if you so to the refund part of their site, you will get the refund instantly. Just do your job...or at least refund me when you say you will.

this is nothing but a scam but will soon be out of a job reported tp paypal fraud squad. google for letting them advertise and police for fraud i will hunt them down and get my revenge they have robbed the wrong person

Horrendous communication, cannot even unlock my phone. Took my money then advised they couldn’t. Just pay for a different company, don’t go with these.

Like many others in here, I used the unlock shop and their service is shocking, no confirmation email from them, just one from paypal. After a week I tried to enquire through their website and still no response, another week went by and I demanded a refund and expressed my anger towards their service and few days after that I received an email from PayPal saying that I have a refund. No contact or apology from code shop. Truthfully they shouldn't be able to operate.

Advised it would take 24h to receive a code via email (I advise everyone to check their spam box as emails end up there) and received an email 24h later saying they couldn’t find a code for my phone. Absolutely annoyed! Was doing this for a family member who needs it and now I have to wait 5 days for the money to back into my PayPal whenever they were quick enough to take it out of there! Waste of time and money, absolute BAD JOKE!!

Just dont bother. No emails apart from PayPal saying money been sent to them. Reversed the payment 24 hours so no loss apart from time.

In a nutshell everything about this company is bad. I can't even put the code I paid for didn't work, because I never received a code!! In fact I never received any email or message or so much as a *!@$ you we've stolen your money, even after "attempting" to contact them.
Do yourself a massive favour..... DON'T DO WHAT I DID......STAY WELL AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!

Paid for 2 different phones to be unlocked they can't do either but failed to email me to tell me I had to ask what was happening. Useless company don't waste your time.

Worse service ever they took the money,they didn't give any unlock code,and I'm still waiting for refund... WORSE SERVICE EVER !!!₩₩

Awfull service I tried to unlock a samsung s8 and an iphone xr had and email saying they couldn't provide code and will receive a refund
No refund received so emailed them they sent an apology email saying I will receive an refund in 48 hours still no refund

Guys, I paid my $6.95 CDN to have an unlock code for my Huawei Hot Spot I purchased in the Philippines, unlocked by Unlock Code Shop, March 9 2020. Then after I did that, I was concerned they would be legit, so googled "reviews' and found this Trustpilot site and noted the many bad reviews and a few good ones, which caused me concern.

But to their word, an agent named "Lucas", emailed me, said he had my case and would advise within 24 hours.

I then googled a bunch of more ways to unlock, including emailing Huawei directly, and Globe, the telecom in the Philippines where I purchased my device 2 years ago. Huwawei eventually told me THEY could not unlock it, and to contact GLOBE. SO I realize this is not a simple item to unlock.

So, 24 hours goes by, and Lucas advises me they are unable to unlock and they will contact me with a refund info. I just got notice from PayPal, that the full $6.95 just came back.

So I am giving them 5 stars for being timely, honorable and a good business partner to work with. I would try them again for the next device.

Now, I am hoping Globe themselves will unlock my device as I want to use it around the world as I travel, and they are my last resort. So if Huawei can't unlock their OWN device, I feel Unlock Code Shop is a solid 5 star company.
