As fair as can be expected. Customer service was helpful and polite. Though I wouldn't ever recommend short term loans to anyone as a matter of principle, they're certainly one of the better providers.

I asked them to cancel my Loan Application but this request was ignored and the money was still paid into my account. Then I left negative reviews/feedback on their website and on their Facebook page but neither was published and it makes me wonder where all the negative comments are and whether all the positive ones are actually real which I very much doubt. They are definitely not to be trusted. I am very angry and unhappy with their conduct.

Very easy to set up Straightforward and Unclebuck Finance give you a 3 day advanced email to remind you their funds are due Very Good idea Interest Rates may be high but arn't they all on short term loans.

Plague you with emails and then when you really need help they tell you to b****r off. Not impressed. Will not try to use again and would advise everyone to steer clear

Easy application process and fast payouts, interest rates are higher but as expected for this type of borrowing, have had no issues with the company

Didn't even bother to respond to my complaint within the 8 week time scale - has now had to be forwarded onto the OMBUDSMAN!! This company is very obstructive and doesn't care about you - Read a lot of 5* reviews which look very FAKE

No problems at all with Uncle buck. Easy to use, very helpful staff and totally up front about everything. Paid loan early and reduced the amount of interest I had to pay, happy days

I was going to lay this off but since hearing further colleagues stresses I have to state Uncle Buck has got to be THE worst place I have worked. The staff are quite frankly treated like dirt, there is no trust from management at all.
Since the business has increased staff-wise there is no support system in place for staff members for Doctors/mental health appts. Management are all over the place.

Whilst working at Uncle Buck, my personal information regarding probation and other personal data was shared with the entire Collections department. Although this was an accident from a manager’s side- absolutely nothing was done. I was brought into a meeting and interrogated by members of management and HR about something that wasn’t even my fault. I was told to stop taking feedback so personally.

- They refused to provide us with our full statutory holidays.

- Staff are made to work 9+ hour shifts and we’re only given a 20 minute break- maybe the odd 5-10 minute extra break if the Operations ‘Manager’ is in a good mood.

-Since leaving in late December, 5 members of staff have resigned or been let go due to the companies’ misleading values.

There are many many more things to say, however at least now I’ve said my peace and stood up for what is right!

I feel sorry for UB staff, they are all lovely and take on anything that is asked of them without question. It’s just a shame the ones who are left cannot speak up for themselves who were in similar positions to the rest of us. As for the top man, I would advise you to thoroughly investigate people you actually put in charge and who represent Uncle Buck. Complete joke.

Great treatment from Tracey (5 STARS) who was very helpful and supportive. Overall was hassled 30 days in a row when couldn't make a payment - overall would ask them to change their policy of harassment of genuine customers who for certain circumstances can't always pay on time, but extremely happy with Tracey.

Brilliant company friendly staff have used uncle buck a few times and would recommend thanks uncle buck

The problem with this type of loan are all the charges are at the beginning. If you pay your loan early they already have the bulk of the interest.

Think very carefully before taking out a loan with this company.
