Highly professional and well-organized, the training gave me the qualifications and confidence to follow the career I always dreamed of.

A great course, thorough training, and a personal journey all in one. It was a steep but fast learning curve and the teaching staff are all professionals who know their subject. Mark Davies and Sue Sawyer were particularly inspiring for me. The support is also very good. Even if I never became a working hypnotherapist, the course would be a worthwhile investment in myself and my own mental well-being. I connected mostly with the CBT part of the course, but also expect to use hypnosis with it going forward. My only slight criticism is that the audio for some of the online course needs improving e.g. removal of background noise.

LIFE-CHANGING!
As a psychotherapist in training I originally took on the CBH Diploma as additional training and through a genuine interest in this form of therapy. Needless to say, the expertise, engagement, and enthusiasm of the trainers, as well as the depth and clarity of the content of the course proved transformative in my journey as a therapist. On a personal and professional level, I aquired tools and an approach to therapy (and life) that massively enhanced my experience of communication and thought processes in a way that I could not have expected. I am truly grateful to all those at the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy for giving me the opportunity to grow as a persona and therapist.

A unique approach that blends CBT and Hypnotherapy together which has been scientifically proven to be more effective and reduces the length of the therapy. Very well designed to provide support regarding practical exercises with other peers. Doing case studies was invaluable for me to gain confidence. An extensive range of resources to expand your knowledge - free scripts, CPD courses, and free webinars. Most important you are surrounded by like-minded students and devoted teachers- you will have a supportive network from start to finish. Priceless!

Excellent course along with excellent course, content and room to expand my knowledge. I really enjoyed being able to learn from home on zoom as I would’ve found it difficult to do the training face-to-face. so doing the training on zoom gave me an opportunity that I wouldn’t otherwise of had. I would recommend the course to anybody.
However, I do feel the CNHC need to update their guidelines to allow students apply to the register who do the course on zoom.

Amazing the way the training format is delivered, academically enriched. Amazing team, don’t feel a number very welcoming and amazing support systems in place. The plus is definitely learning from the comfort of my home via zoom.

The course is fantastic. Excellent course materials and experienced presenters/assessors. Having been trained as a hypnotherapist, in the Ericksonian approach, I had felt there was something missing. I knew that it worked but, as a software geek, I needed to know why it worked. This course has shown me the why's and hows along with a great deal of practice. The evidence based approach, combination with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and properly, externally assessed training make this a first rate course. It also acts as a great deal of personal therapy along the way as an added bonus!

I truly recommend courses in UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy. I was looking for hypnotherapy courses in Sweden and Poland but I couldn’t find anything reliable. The College offers evidence-based approach to hypnotherapy which is very important. You will find a lot of information not only hypnosis but also CBT, mindfulness, psychotherapy. The most important thing is that you will learn and practice, so you will gain a quite a lot of experience. After the course you will be ready to establish your own hypnotherapy practice.

I did the Online Hypno-CBT Conversion Course and it was excellent. The learning was meaningful, well delivered and accessible. It offered a range and depth that was far beyond the first course I did with a different college, plenty of reading materials and a few different ways to get in touch with tutors, staff and fellow students.
The trainers and supervisors were generous with their time and knowledge, and the customer service was prompt and excellent.
Couldn’t recommend the course enough to any aspiring hypnotherapists, especially those who want to deliver competent and evidence based treatment.

Also, fantastic support from the lecturers and staff members, always ready to help you and surround you with kindness!

I first took a course in hypnotherapy some 20 years ago and loved it so much that I promised myself I'd return to it 'one day'. Semi-retirement opened up that opportunity. I chose the UK College of Hypnotherapy, as they offered the integration of hypnosis with CBT. The trainers were all excellent presenters: highly experienced and knowledgeable in CBH, as well as approachable. I found myself not only enjoying the content of the course simply for the learning experience but began to imagine taking the learning into a new life-venture. I found that the course practical experiences and taught material, being evidence-based, gave me the confidence to offer myself as a bono-fide therapist. Again, in this, the College support has been exemplary...from the supervision provided throughout the case studies, additional practice sessions and support with the assessments, along with advice on setting up in practice. There's always something going on with the College to nurture its students and build expertise. I can't fault my experience.

I now have a fantastic set of tools to help people in all sorts of ways, painting pictures together with their imagination and my scripts! This course has given me the confidence to heal others which is such a beautiful thing :)

In detail. The lecturers give you ready-to-use techniques. And you learn by doing. It means you feel confident to get on out there and practice.

I think it is a well designed, evidence based and intense course. It does not have any fillers. Availability of dedicated coaches, practice sessions and ongoing training opportunities, available resources, book recommendations make for a good learning experience. Students WhatsApp groups are icing on the cake.

I have attended the on line, self lead track of HypnoCBT. I have appreciated the content, the delivery and the technical platform. The tools and skills taught are highly valuable and I use them in my daily practice. I have also appreciated the mentoring sessions and the evaluation process. I have found the feedback on my paper to be very precise and I have learned a lot from it. The final evaluation was a rounding feedback on the knowledge acquired during the course. The bibliography is a good selection both in terms of theory and practice. The client service is very good.

The College provides a very well structured training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Hypnotherapy Techniques, that can be applied by psychologists, psychotherapists, and hypnotherapists.
The content is of high quality, very well delivered and easily applied with clients. From my professional experience as a licensed Counseling Psychologist in Cyprus, currently working in the field of addictions and maintaining my own private practice, I observed high client satisfaction as the treatment strategies and techniques are very effective and impactful. Especially helpful regarding clients that suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, chronic pain, perfectionism and any kind of maladaptive thoughts/behaviors/patterns. Additionally, the Smoking Cessation Diploma is one of the best I have seen.

The Diploma course, in fact any course or CPD with UK College, is outstanding! I had previous hypnosis training before joining the Diploma course as well as some CBT workshops, but this course was pivotal in bringing my confidence back to my practice and really igniting a passion for CBT used in conjunction with hypnotherapy. My practice has grown so much since my training with The UK College and I now work full time as a CBT hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. Evidenced based, amazing, experienced tutors and some pretty amazing guest tutors too like Don Meichenbaum, one of the founders of CBT!!! The training will build your confidence and your skill and keep you up to date on all the relevant and emerging research to make sure you are an evidenced based practitioner.
