I've done quite some trainings, but this is the best so far.
Well structured and well prepared, with a lot of support from staff, from admin issues to supervision. After finishing I felt I can actually help people in a very concrete and clear way. The 20h of case studies and supervision made me practice what the training taught me and at the end of it I felt properly equipped to work with actual clients.
They also take serious the risks and responsibilities of being a hypnotherapist. It is one of the best investments I've made.

I'm so excited to have completed and finished this amazing course! I did it online watching recorded lessons so I was able to do it in my own time. The course is so interesting and I learned so much that I can't wait to demonstrate all the skills I've learned and help people. The support is great on the admin and assessments side with quick and helpful responses, and I had wonderful support from my supervisor Jana all the way through my course, assessment stage and case studies. I highly recommend this course.

I'd thoroughly recommend UKCHH for it's course content, delivery and entire experience. Every element was immersive, interactive and the course tutors were all excellent. I achieved the necessary qualifications and certification to become a Private Therapist running my own private practice for over 9 years treating a variety of clients of all ages and then, more recently, using my knowledge, experience and skillset to apply that in an educational environment facilitating reframing and positive change to a wider group of individuals. I completed my training with UK Hypnosis and found the overall experience solid and worthwhile.

The course materials covered the subject thoroughly, with good depth and breadth. I appreciated the emphasis on being reasonably rigorous and evidence informed, rather than leaning into unexamined tradition or more speculative approaches sometimes found elsewhere in the field. The student practice area was particularly valuable. Having a structured way to connect and practise with other students made a real difference to confidence and skill development.

I found my assigned tutor to be positive, supportive, and informative. Their feedback and guidance added clarity and structure to the learning process.

Access to self paced online materials was a major benefit. Being able to revisit content in my own time supported consolidation in a way that purely live training cannot always achieve.

In terms of production quality, much of the online material appears to be recorded from live classes rather than produced as dedicated studio modules. At times, presenters would reference a specific book and step off screen to retrieve it. This did not detract from the substance of the teaching, but those accustomed to highly polished e learning platforms may notice the difference in delivery and presentation style.

Overall, I found the training credible, appropriately challenging, and aligned with what it promises. For those seeking structured, evidence aware hypnotherapy training with opportunities for peer practice and flexible study, it represents good value.

I enrolled in the CBH course wanting to expand my clinical skillset with an evidence-based, ethically grounded approach to hypnotherapy—and it delivered far more than I expected.
The course is exceptionally well presented and allows you to learn at your own pace, while still feeling supported and connected. The course assigns you to a tutor to help you with the process, and provides excellent digital and written resources and its practice session platforms hosted by a college tutor, provide a diverse community of fellow trainees from a range of professional backgrounds, which really enhanced the learning experience and encouraged thoughtful discussion and critical thinking.
What stood out most was the depth of research, studies, and the depth of content on the course. The teaching team, tutors and office staff are incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and generous with their support—always available to guide, mentor, and challenge your thinking in the best possible way.
As an experienced practitioner, I took this course to learn a new way of working, and I can honestly say it has significantly expanded my psychological toolbox.There is so much opportunity to learn, practise, and integrate CBH into real clinical work in a grounded and ethical way.
I also really appreciated that the qualification is issued through NCFE, reflecting the college’s commitment to credibility and high professional standards. This course is ideal for therapists who value evidence-based practice, depth, and genuine professional development.

I completed the course via the online study route, and I am genuinely very happy with my experience at the UKCHH.
At the beginning, the volume of material felt a little daunting, but the course is well structured and the online learning platform is clear and easy to navigate once you get into the rhythm of it.
One of the strongest aspects of the training is its evidence-based approach, with the material firmly grounded in research.
I come from a psychology background, including a MSc in Cross-Cultural Psychology, and still found the course genuinely eye-opening and highly practical - not only in terms of working with clients, but also for my own personal development.
The support throughout the course was excellent. My supervisor was fantastic, and the wider team were consistently responsive and supportive. The online practice sessions were particularly valuable - well organised, encouraging, and professionally run.
Overall, this was a rigorous, supportive, and very rewarding training experience, and I am extremely glad I chose this course and this college.

I want to leave an honest review. Despite having a Master’s degree in Law and years of study behind me, I couldn’t finish this program. The platform looks clear at first, but once you begin, the structure falls apart: many videos repeat the same things, sections don’t connect, and it becomes very hard to understand the logic of the course.

I even created my own structured system to track the content — and ended up getting lost in it too. That’s how confusing the material is.

The program also strongly dismisses other effective methods, including those I’ve personally trained in and seen excellent results from, like Dolores Cannon’s regression work. This narrow approach limits students and the profession.

In my view, the college should test applicants before enrollment to ensure the format matches their learning style. Without that, many capable people will simply struggle unnecessarily.

In the end, you’re expected to keep paying for access just to try to make sense of the platform. For me, it wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t recommend this program.

I received my Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy with the college, and I am both delighted and relieved! I chose the Webcast version of the course, and I’m so pleased I did because it gave me structure, focus, and truly outstanding teaching. It also provided the opportunity to make friends and practise with fellow students, who were an absolutely fantastic group of people.

The course itself is in-depth, exactly what you’d expect from a Level 4 or 5 qualification. The literature is extensive, very well structured, and contains everything you need to complete the programme.

During my studies, I experienced some unexpected personal challenges that delayed my progress. Throughout this time, I received exceptional support from the Student Support Team. I would especially like to thank Jacqueline Hicks, who offered more kindness and encouragement than she realises. When I doubted whether I would finish, she assured me I would. When I questioned whether I could achieve the Level 5 I hoped for, she gently but firmly gave me the confidence to believe in myself, and ultimately to succeed.

I highly recommend this course and the college. The quality of teaching, resources, and support has been outstanding from start to finish.

I did the online version of the hypno-CBT diploma. This is a really science-backed, evidence-based course which really sets you up to be a high-quality hypnotherapist.
This was really flexible for me as I was working full time and from a different country/time zone. I managed to complete the coursework in less than 1 year, and then did my case studies and assessments.
The course included videos I could watch on-demand, online practice sessions which were amazing for gaining skills and confidence, and coaching/supervision with an amazing, experienced coach.
The college covers so much, and I’m feeling really confident and excited to launch my new career!

This is a top quality online program, very cleverly designed to create a full online experience including the practice sessions and the coaching support provided. All of the materials and teachings are evidence based. In a world of social media courses with glitzy advertising this is very much the real deal and will equip you to be a practising well qualified hypnotherapist.

Think no more!! go with this college. It’s a wonderful experience the tutor’s are enthusiastic about their subject. They are professional with their approach. It really is a great course, with lots of support.

I did the CBH diploma in 2022 online which was a fantastic start down the path to therapy.
I learned a lot from some great tutors.....shout out to the queen of pain!
It helped me personally as well, but taught me great techniques which I use regularly.

I undertook studying for the diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy in 2021 and found the quality of learning material and support to be excellent. I then joined the College's professional hub which is a high quality source of CPD, webinars and online discussions to support not only students but qualified practitioners like myself. Since graduating up to the present day have regularly used this to expand my knowledge and skills. I highly recommend training with this College.

I thoroughly enjoyed the diploma course and found the delivery varied and engaging. I have acquired a great deal of fascinating knowledge and many practical skills by working steadily through the course videos, recommended reading, practicals and assessments. I have loved interacting with my fellow learners and found the tutors to be incredibly knowledgeable and inspiring.
