Great experience - Lots to Learn
I loved the manner in which the course is presented because it allows you the learner to learn at your own pace. You have access to a wide range of fellow therapist from a range of backgrounds. The team are welcoming and encourage critical thinking. As an experienced practitioner , and having done the course just to learn a new skill and way of working I personally found this course provides lots to learn, practice and make my 'psychological tool box' much richer .

Evidenced-Based Accreditation
I would recommend this diploma to others even as a self development interest if not for changing or supporting a career. The course is well-structured and comprehensive. The coaches are inspirational, very well experienced, knowledgeable and great coordinators. The College course is accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC), with graduate eligibility to join the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and Complementary and National Healthcare Council (CNHC), approved by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and incorporates both CBT and hypnotherapy, unlike most. The course is validated through the Northern Council for Further Education (NCFE) offering further assurance of high standards. Also endorsed by the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists professional body (ACCPH). There is a huge set of resources and a feel of community and networking encouraged throughout. There is the flexibility to cover the course webcast or online over time if needed- self-paced. The skills provided are relevant for the market and though tools and techniques are simple they are amazingly profound. The assessment includes practice sessions, supervised case studies and essay questions that target the vocational needs to become a skilled Hypno-CBT practitioner.

I have been a student at the college…
I have been a student at the college since June 2024, and recently finished my diploma. I don't know where to start in describing impeccable and life transforming experience with this course. The structure, the content, the process, the service, the teachers, the activities, the engagement - everything is par excellence. The well-researched academic part as well as assessment is simply unmatched in the high quality that's offered. The student support system functions exceptionally well (hats off) and so does the coaching/supervision during the process. Transformative journey with Hypno-CBT
I recently completed the Hypno-CBT Diploma Level 5 course, and I must say, it has been an incredibly enriching and transformative experience. From the well-structured curriculum to the expert guidance provided, every aspect of this course exceeded my expectations.

This course was life changing for me me
This course was life changing for me. I loved every moment of it and it made so much sense to me. When I took the course, a few years ago now, I was new to mental health and so this was the start of a complete career change for me. The course and Mark (who was the sole tutor at the time) was truly inspiring and also exciting. As well as being a hypnotherapist in private practise, I'm now also a clinician in the NHS, so the course was the beginning of a real journey into mental health for me. AS A student the amount you learn can be overwhelming at times - but by the time you finish stage 3 everything makes sense and you know you have a fantastic tool kit to use with clients that really works. Taking the course was one of my best life decisions!

I had long wanted to be a hypnotherapist, but wanted a course to have a scientific and measurable approach. This course was great. CBT is a proven and effective therapy, and when combined with hypnotherapy it was a fantastically effective tool. The courses I attended lead to a career in hypnotherapy. Ongoing support and wonderful resources, and clinical overseeing meant my knowledge base kept on expanding. I was so impressed I ended up.working as a coach for online students. I have attended cpd from other providers in the area, and have found that the depth of scientific research and high standards required to pass this course are still unmatched.

Industry leading! Dr Donald Meichenabum's Essence of Psychotherapy was amazing!
I have been a student of the UKCoHH for several years now. Originally a Diploma student, and then as a practicing therapist, having taken many CPD events over the years. All the training offered is first class, delivered by supportive experts in the field, hugely enjoyable, and wholly evidence-based.
Last year I was lucky enough to attend the Essence of Psychotherapy programme (3 courses) with the UKCoHH and Dr Donald Meichenbaum. What a privilege it is to be able to say I have been able to meet with Dr Meichenbaum during Q&A sessions, a founder of CBT. And what a joy to be able to experience his 'hype-free', strengths-based and constructive narrative approach to CBT in this extensive training course. I was looking for an evidence-based…
I was looking for an evidence-based approach when it came to hypnotherapy and I sure found that and so much more. I loved the online course. And even more loved my tutor who was always there to guide and mentor me. I was especially happy with the amount of studies, research and opinions we've been presented with. Not to mention the people involved (teachers, mentors, etc) with the college are world renowned experts in their own fields. And the diploma was issued by the NCFE (rather than printed on nice paper by some other colleges out there I've researched before joining UKCHH).

I am overall very happy with this…
I am overall very happy with this course. I have learned a lot to enable me to become a competent hypnotherapist, and also learned a lot of skills and tools to help myself personally. A lot of professional and personal growth with the option to complete at your own pace, which is what I did. Improvements I can think of would be improved video and audio quality for the lectures, sometimes it was difficult to hear the lectures, and also there was no scientific rationale or explanation into hypnosis itself on a neurological level.

Excellent evidence-based content. Excellent Tutor. The Principal has a detailed and nuanced knowledge of this subject matter and how it connects to other similar areas. Supportive environment there if you need it. Awareness that many students may want to create their own businesses afterwards. Speed and proactvitiy of communication between students and admin staff could be improved (and also possibly between tutors and admin staff).

This course was life-changing
This course was life-changing - on many levels. I was deeply impressed by the enthusiasm and dedication of all the instructors: the love and passion for what they taught and practiced was incredibly compelling. Equally impressive was the breadth of their knowledge across many fields. I ended up using my training differently from other students in my course, but with a similar ambition to help others navigate through difficult stages in life by sharing some of the “tools” I’ve learned here.

Great Course, amazing resources and support
The teaching is really good with practicing therapists from diverse backgrounds from highflying city financiers, athletes, to theatre artists who have completed the course and gone into become amazing therapists using their skills and background tohelp people. The course material lectures, course manuals, practicals and journals are clear based on scientific evidence with input from some of the founders of CBT. I would recommend the web based classroom course as I learned so much from my fellow students as diverse as the teaching staff from Harley street clinical psychologists to people like me looking for a new career. Everyone has something to bring and I’ve made some good friends who’ve helped keep me motivated. All the lectures are available to watch again which I found useful with lots of extra material too. The online practice sessions which are in addition to the course material which are hosted by the tutor are a requirement to gain the qualification are fantastic at building confidence in being a therapist are brilliant and you an so ass many as you feel you need as they are run most days. I found the course truly life changing and pushed me forward in learning about myself as well as training to be a therapist !

I have just graduated with a Level 5
I have just graduated with a Level 5, Hypno-CBT diploma and due to running a business opted for the online version. The college provides thoroughly researched & evidence based course material, a wealth of highly experienced tutors, workshops, webinars, access to unlimited videos & research documents on psychotherapy.net. Access to zoho connect to network & discuss treatment options & advice with existing & qualified students & tutors. Myself & couple of students struggled with the rigorous assessment process, the college listened to us & put on extra Q & A & support sessions to help us with this, which was invaluable. They have also increased the times of practice sessions to suit both working students & international students, there really times & options to suit everyone. The college works closely with Don Meichenbaum & in the future I will be completing the ICBT & Legacy courses to further my career. I carried out the Daniel Mirea Assessment & Conceptualisation workshop which has proven to be invaluable.
The only reason I did nt give 5 stars is that I am extremely hard of hearing & there is a fair bit of background noise in some of the recorded classroom videos, the closed captions don't always match up. However the college is aware of this & at some point this will be rectified.
Both personally & professionally this Diploma has changed my life, you have no choice but to put into practice what you learn & all students have the opportunity to overcome any issues or phobias they have.
I am in a peer support group with many of the students I met on the course. Anyone studying this Diploma will never feel they are alone, the other students, tutors & college admin & support go out of their way to ensure this.
