Booked my MRI at expense to my self not…
Booked my MRI at expense to my self not a referral. My original appointment was 10am..Then having tried to communicate with acam.com. topics out exactly what happens next was very hard ans the commination was at best average and the lady was very hard to understand. I had a tough hour and a half journey only to be told tge technician that was needed to help the orther guy was late. Eventually he turned up at 11 40. Over two hours late. I had to contact my boss to say I'm running late. Scan guy was ok not 100% sure he really new what i was after . It was do e and got my results and awaiting my scan pictures for my g.p Not all bad but I'm not overall happy to be up at 630. And get home at 2pm.

I originally booked a scan and after a consultation with aa member of staff was advised to change to a different investigation (and as I had already paid was quickly given a refund of the excess amount)
Would recommend Scan.com

An OK Service
Well, I booked my appointment through Scan.com, but they don't seem to have a access to the real time scheduling as MIP and there MIP called me the next day and said they have slots 4 days earlier, which doesn't make sense I should have just called MIP.
Additionally, I paid an extra £50 for someone to explain the results, Sam the Osteopath from Scan.com, called was the least polite individual read the report to me, which I could have done myself as I am a radiographer didn't really explain anything, when I asked a question he didn't really want talk properly. I think the lasted all of 5 minutes, £10 a minute minute. My advice don't pay the extra £50, and if you do hope you don't get Sam.

Appointment for scan
Staff very attentive and helpful. Building was very nice, drinks available, magazines to read.
Unit where scan was , was very clean, private cubicles for privacy and staff put you at ease .
