My account has been put on hold for 2months been calling and getting ignored, wuu I definitely don't recommend

My account has been placed on hold, nobody noticed me no arrangements, worst of it all you have to nag them to open your account this is totally unacceptable 😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡

My account put on hold, no phone call, no email explaining why just a sms
Called fraud department incorrect information was given 2nd call incorrect again, after 3rd attempt the correct details were given.
Followed procedure and still waiting for account to be released

I have been trying to get my money transferred from my TymeBank account to an account at another bank for almost two weeks now. I have never experienced such poor service anywhere. It is definately not worth the interest rate. Rather use a trustworthy bank.

Contacted the fraud department.

Extremely rude i don't know who the person thought they were. No assistance provided and then put on indefinite hold.

Proof is in the pudding, not much else needs to be said. I guess the allow fraudulent activities from the account holders.

TymeBank is the worst bank ever.
Last month on payday my salary got stolen out of my account I personally went my self the bank in Sandton to query.they put my account on hold and said it would take 5 to 7 working days to investigate till today nobody has contacted me. I have been trying to call the fraud department everyday and it just rings I have tried to email them and no response.

I plead with everybody using this bank to leave because they system is not secure and they clearly don't care about your money getting stolen.

I regret the day opening an account with them they are the worst bank ever.

What is the point if a debicheck mandate reaches a client after a day and another dag to get back to the company that issued it...by that time it's too late..it's supposed to be immediate....you are the focus point of moron...I am moving my salary this week....

I think all of us should leave TymeBank. I blame myself for staying with them since I have always had issues. A Debit Hold has been placed on my account. Spent hundreds of Rand's calling their useless call centre. Was placed on hold for an hour and decided to drop the call. No one has the decency to call one back. They are withholding my money and no one has an answer as to why. Let's all boycott and leave this joke for a bank.

This is not a real bank and thus any personal loan or payday loans you apply for, will not be approved because they won't be able to pay funds into this bank.
Companies work with Aedos banks and not Naedos!

Do not make the mistake and switch to them!As they too will not be able to help you with a payday loan or personal loan.

Horrible experience trying to unblock my account. Call center agent took 30min+ to answer my call. TymeBank clearly has incorrect information on my profile and asked me the most ridiculous security questions, which I failed. Now I need to go to a kiosk, call them again, wait 30min+ just to verify that I am not impersonating myself. I would love to hear where they sourced the information on security questions, and why it is okay for their call center staff, Tholiso (Kim is manager) to accuse me of swearing (which I did not) and not knowing where I worked, what bureau profiles I have or if I'm married or not. What an absolute joke of a bank.

This bank lacks service and the human touch. They got it right on a lot of aspects, but when it comes to service at kiosks there is always a problem with it being offline or printing cards. I have gone to 3 different kiosks and the same issue no cards. There is no direct contact person to service clients. I get the bank is trying to save money by having less employees but if there is a breakdown at ground level the bank will not grow to challenge the bigger banks. So if someone can get back to me as I really need a card. Thank you Clint

I am so disappointed 😥 I made a transaction on the 30th of January 2023, and I can't retrieve a proof of payment I've sent emails daily even went to pickn pay!!!! Utterly useless service. I would never ever recommend this bank.... Is Motsepe still afflicted with TymeBank???

I need to urgently submit the POP, and if I forfeit my money I doubt that this bank would even care!

After I sort this out I'm totally done this bank that doesn't have a branch and cashiers as bank tellers!!! This is not right ... 😡

Beware of some tyme bank account holders. The bank allows scammers to open business accounts without due diligence. I paid an amount to what I thought was a ligitimate business account and it turned out they were criminals and fraudsters and the funds were immediately transferred to another account. When reported the bank was totally uninterested in my loss. Disgusting.

How do I get my TymeCard closed, getting the run around since Friday. I have emailed numerous times and phoned out more airtime than they deserve.....still I am sent from pillar to post. Paid settlement amount and then get told there is still an outstanding amount.....what do I need to do to get this account closed??

Thier representetives are not well informed about everything. The service is crappy. I went to open a card for the first time. It gave the assistant a problem since he did not know how to use the machine. I have to go to a different branch where they charged R70 for their representetive fault. Other day I went to withdraw my money from ATM but never got the money but my statement said I withdrew it and when tried to contact them they were not available. Via every platform.

This is the fastest growing bank that is so much cheaper to use and so much user-friendly, I recommend it to anyone who has that hustling mentally and wants every cent to be kept safe.

Shockingly bad customer service! They claim on their website that you will earn Smart Shopper points wherever you use your Tyme debit card, and double Smart shopper points at Pick n Pay. What a load of nonsense! The Tyme customer care consultants aren't even familiar with their own product, first they did not know about it - I had to send a screenshot of their own website! Then they reverted back I need to contact PnP smartshopper customer care, only to find PnP referred me back to Tyme as its a TymeBank issue! Rediculous indeed.
