I was planning a trip to Istanbul and Cappadocia and Joanna was incredibly helpful. Very quick to reply to questions and make suggestions also.
Sadly we decided that out ideal trip required more time so we will revist it next year hopefully and I will be sure to seek Joannas help again.

I am interested in a trip to Turkey to go in the hot air balloons and Joanna was fantastic. She found me some great flights and accommodation for the trip. Stressful Nightmare
We booked a cruise to the far east with this company with travel consultant Deborah Williams for October 2026. They took a £600 deposit in April and told us that we would not have to pay anything until the end of May.
They then decided to changed our flights to travel with Emirates which we had already told them we did not want to as our insurance wouldn't cover us as the FCDO tells you not to go there. This then lead to a whole barrage of emails back and forth. Goal posts getting moved all the time.
When we said to cancel this holiday as it was not what was 1st disgust they then said they would change our flights back to KLM but we needed to pay another £2,300 right there and then to keep the booking. Again we told them to cancel as there was too many things that didn't seem right and they then told us we would have to pay £1,200 to cancel.
After phoning and emailing on several occaisions we had to just ignore further communication as they would just not listen to us and constantly badgered us for money.
We took this up with our bank as we had paid the £600 with credit card. We have just received this back. Check, Check and Double check everything if you book with this company. What should have been a holiday of a lifetime turned into one stressful nightmare.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you were left feeling disappointed, as this was never the experience we wanted for you.
To clarify the timeline, after you initially agreed to the holiday package, we sent the booking confirmation and also received your message confirming that you were happy to proceed with the booking.
Shortly afterwards, we discovered that we were unable to secure the KLM flights immediately as the available fares were no longer available.
As an alternative, we offered Emirates as an upgraded option, giving you a choice while we worked to protect your holiday. Airline availability and fare changes are unfortunately outside of our control, and when these situations arise, we always strive to find the best possible solution for our customers by providing suitable alternatives. We completely respected your decision when you declined the Emirates option.
To honour the original holiday package, we agreed to continue with the KLM flights and simply requested that the scheduled instalment payment, originally due on 23rd May, be brought forward to 9th May so that we could secure those flights. This request was solely to enable us to confirm the original flights before the fare changed again. The holiday itself, including the itinerary and inclusions, remained exactly as originally agreed and confirmed.
When you later advised that you wished to cancel the booking, we responded with our final email explaining the position in line with the booking terms. Unfortunately, we did not receive any further communication for around a month.
We understand that booking a special holiday is a significant decision, and we are sorry that this situation became stressful for you. We are committed to being transparent and supporting our customers whenever circumstances beyond our control, such as airline availability and fare changes, arise.
We are glad to hear that the matter has now been resolved and that you have received the full amount back. We sincerely wish you all the very best with your future travel plans.

Came across travel gate while looking for a special place to go for our 10th wedding anniversary in August 2027. Susan Parker has been a dream.
