VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
What was advertised as a 2 hour driving experience was 10 minutes. The rest of the time was trying to sell other things e.g. video, more laps etc. VERY DISAPPOINTING !!

Absolutely disgusted.
I was given a driving experience as a gift by a family member who was unaware at the time due to the very early stages that I was Pregnant.
I attempted to extend the experience for a reasonable time after my due date to give my body and mind enough time to recover but Trackdays wanted to charge me to do so.
I read on the Trackdays website under extensions that medical conditions that mean you are unable to use the voucher for the majority of the voucher validity time would be taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis and obviously driving a super car...G-force and pregnant a bit no no. So I opened a webchat with one of their agents to discuss further as I know that being pregnant isn't a medical condition but I physically cannot drive a supercar as it is unsafe and not approved by my GP and thought this would be a reasonable request as this would be for the majority of the voucher as well.
The agent (don't know their name as its through computer chat and their name is not provided) said that they would not extend my voucher free of charge as they do not think pregnancy is a good enough reason to not have to pay the fee. After dispute the Agent asked for my due date and then did offer an extension to March 2026 (3 months extra) at no fee which I said multiple times that I appreciated this but in my personal opinion I just don't feel like this will be long enough.
So, as they offered the extension and I was not happy with that length of time, I would pay for the extension but as stated on their website the charge is to counter any price changes to the experience that the provider may apply when it comes to me booking, so I requested confirmation that IF the price of the experience does not change then TrackDays have not incurred any additional costs to me extending the experience then I would receive the charged amount back which I feel is fair.
TrackDays would have applied an administration charge to the initial booking as they are a 'booking agent' so they have already profited from the booking of my experience so why is it fair for me to have to pay a further fee for something that may or may not happen. If it does, no problem they can keep the fee but if the price of the experience does not change then why should Trackdays benefit financially as a business from my physical inability to do the experience within the initial voucher time given.
Further into the conversation the agent contradicted themselves on what the fee is actually there for (copy of the conversation below):
Agent:
"It will be 10 months on top of the current expiry. If the provider increases the price of this package this year, we would end up absorbing the cost, as they will expect to be paid based on the new price, if booked next year, one of the reasons we charge extension fees"
Further on in the conversation... Agent:
"you are not covering our costs, we are a booking agent, so we retain a small commission for the experience price, we won't absorb the costs, however that isn't the only reason we charge the extension fee."
So initially they will absorb the cost of increase but then later in the conversation they wont absorb the cost and they retain a small commission... so obviously I called the agent out on this contradiction which they did not like. Unfortunately, it seemed that me highlighting this mistake made by the agent ruffled a few feathers as they shortly after made the following inconsiderate and rude comment...
"We do use flexibility, where customers are injured or suffering from a medical condition, if it affects their ability to use the voucher. An uncomplicated pregnancy isn't a medical condition."
Not at any point throughout did the agent ask me what my GP or midwife have considered the risk factor of my pregnancy to be. They have just assumed that I have and will not have any complications and that I am a low risk pregnancy.
The Agent then felt that the following was a reasonable comment to make:
"As driving during pregnancy is quite normal."
To which I calmly responded with:
"Yes, driving a normal car on a normal road is perfectly fine with an adjusted seatbelt not going across my stomach, however driving a supercar where g-force is going to very likely is not safe to do whilst pregnant."
I am disgusted with how I have been treated and my reasons being completely disregarded. I have said I will pay the charge to extend but I would like the charge returned to me if the cost of the experience has not changed when it comes to me booking the experience. Not unreasonable at all.

BE VERY CAREFUL …
BE VERY CAREFUL booking with this company. Purchased insurance cover as part of package but won't reimburse us for our daughter (it was a 16th birthday present) being ill and unable to attend on the day. Unbelievably insurance requires proof of illness from GP/hospital!!!
Update following response from Trackdays:
Utterly disgraceful.
Your response captures perfectly the essence of the Unaccountability Machine. How convenient for you to delegate any responsibility to outsourced companies and hide behind ‘this is what the policy says’. Clearly you see no room for flexibility, let alone doing the right thing.
In short, your response screams out that Trackdays just doesn’t care. So, here it is in black and white for all to see.
Regardless of whether you outsource to others Trackdays is the front end, the public face of the operation. It is your reputation that is harmed in cases like this. Wake up and take some responsibility.
The point of my post was as much to warn others about how utterly ridiculous the so-called protection policy is. Get real - people get ill from time to time and mostly this does not require a GP or hospital visit (in our particular case our daughter had a stomach bug and was vomiting the night before). I doubt our already overburdened NHS would welcome this additional bureaucracy.
I hope readers of this post will take heed about the unreasonable risk they are taking on when booking with Trackdays. I would hate for others to end up out of pocket by over £300 as we are now.
