Swapped Apple product for dog biscuits

Sent me a box of dog biscuits worth £3.39 instead of an Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad worth £289 (sale price). Refusing to give me an immediate refund and have asked that I return the (completely unsolicited) dog biscuits. This is just adding insult to injury.

Amazing returns policy

Amazing returns policy which means you can always buy with confidence. Best customer service and so reliable.

Only area I could ask them to improve is on ethical standards, continue to develop environmental packaging, pay more tax in UK.

The music app has again failed

The music app has again, repeatedly, frozen. A week or so ago a customer ‘service’ agent only got it to work by repeatedly deleting and reloading the app. Now it has happened again, and an agent by the name of Mherwyn completely ignored what I was asking. Nul points. Bottom of the class.

Useless driver and customer service poor

I don't no what's going on with Amazon drivers but there biggest joke. You put down we're you are have number address card on wall they still delivery to different address. Amazon customers services just joke and wast if time trying get this sorted I got pass onto 6 staff still they didn't understand what was wrong. I spend most of my time chassing the driver or trying to see we're there delivered 🤬😡🤬😡 I just lost conference with Amazon prime and there drivers 🤬 joke or what . All Amazon customers say we're so sorry 😔😔😔 yeh right

Rubbish

On two separate occasions I had items out for delivery and waited in all day only to get an email around 5pm ish saying it’s going to be delivered next day
Eventually having so many let downs I closed my account, well just a little tip if you ever decide to cancel your Amazon account as it’s as if you’ve never existed, I tried to go back on to check on a past order and it impossible as nothing is recognised, not your email, name, address, postcode, nothing will let you in, so be aware

What a useless pathetic shower of crap…

What a useless pathetic shower of crap this company is! Just wasted an hour and a half on their chat, they kept changing agents because they are all stupid and still came away without an answer to my simple question. “Why do you not remove the full 20% VAT on export orders? It was a very simple request but nobody could give me an answer. You are committing fraud, the VAT rate is 20% not 16% so you are stealing 4% from customers who are not liable to pay you anything.

Items advertised are not available (not sold out - cannot be supplied)

Amazon Business site is used by businesses as a convenient one stop shop.

Although items are advertised on the Business Website sometimes these items CANNOT be shipped to a Business address. This means it cannot be sold to a business.

You only find out about this at the checkout. Thiscan constitute the loss of several hours woking time and since time is money, loss of revenue. You can alos lose out if you have purchased other items that rely on the availability of this item.

There is no satisfactory way to complain about this or anything else. The website being specifically designed to discourage complaint. Eventually, if you persist through several circular pathways, you can either talk to someone on the phone or by chat (there is no longer e-mail support, though they still insist you have an e-mail). Of course by this time you are thoroughly angry and frustrated.

Complaining is seen as contrary to Amazon's "Community Guidelines" (Amazon is a shop, ostensibly providing a service, not a community), which is little more than the company avoiding Accountability.

In my opinion, refusing accountability is unethical.

Q: Is advertising something for sale but being unable to provide it False Advertising?

TERRIBLE STATUS

Delivery attempted at 7.05am but missed. Tracking stated "STILL ARRIVING TODAY" so husband waited up until 12 midnight after constantly checking update. The status never changed. It confirmed that parcel was returned to Newcastle hub at 12.51pm. It is now 12.30pm (next day) and still waiting. My order was for a special purpose today. Looks like its going to be too late. DONT ORDER FOR CERTAIN PURPOSE UNLESS ORDERED EARLY. Amazon state that parcels will be delivered quickly however if delivery missed you have to wait an eternity for 2nd delivery attempt. TOTALLY DISGUSTED

How can people trust Amazon Uk when…

How can people trust Amazon Uk when delivery driver(s) deliver to the wrong place 3 times in a week and its no good getting a refund 3 times when you need the items today not like a refund that takes a week I suggest the delivery driver who delivers to Penicuik gets sacked for not finding it !!

Unreliable Amazon.

Amazon is going from Bad to Worse, late deliveries seem to be the norm nowadays.I will certainly be looking to buy from a different place in future. I can no longer rely on Amazon.

Do not buy from Amazon

I would have given no stars if it would let me. How are Amazons delivery drivers allowed to get away with lying about a parcel being delivered when it clearly hasn’t as I have been in all day, it also puzzles me how they don’t track there drivers. They are a complete shambles and I would never buy from them again and would advise others not to either especially if you want to receive your parcel

Customer service is entirely automated and disfunctional

I ordered two items and they said it was delivered when they were not. I was in at the time and have a camera on my drive and can categorically say that it was not delivered.
Customer service is useless in this situation, as you only chat to a bot who has automated answers. You also have to pick from automated answers that don’t have the issue you want to talk about. No way of contacting a real person, getting a refund or seeing any evidence the item was delivered. This is robbery and fraudulent!

How can a package containing 2 items…

How can a package containing 2 items been handed to the resident when the resident waited all afternoon and the was not a knock on the door. Then, Amazon have the audacity to ask you to wait until the next day for delivery when they say it's been handed to the resident. Amazon UK delivery system is BROKEN and customer service understand this and apologises but will do NOTHING to change it. Amazon customer service is more than READING FROM A PRE-PREPARED SCRIPT.

Poor customer service

@AmazonUK its a long time since i have contacted Amazon customer service but needed to recently and boy they are now so crap. Automated telephone system just wants to hang up on you and the chatbot is moronic. When will companies realise that customers want decent support.

No delivery no refund

I ordered two items from amazon.co.uk.I seen the estimated delivery time in the app. But the specified day has passed. I waited three more days and requested refund. They said they would refund within 5-7 business days. I didnt receive. I called and chatted today and they still say the same thing. They told me to wait 5-7 working days. lousy customer service…

Very untrustworthy

Very untrustworthy, you pay for prime service and next day delivery but normally take at least a week (7DAYS) to arrive.Prime is a big rip off and not worth the £100 fee they charge.
I am now buying locally because the prices are the same but the service is far better.

Fraudulent Corporate Company

States delivered to a Neighbour when that neighbour is on holiday & is away for 2 weeks so now it looks I am nearly £50 out of pocket because their delivery service lies about delivering items.
Tried their “automated customer service” go through it all & it simply don’t work at all it just goes back to the purchased items page …
Utterly DISGUSTING service
I will be contacting citizens advise, the financial ombudsman & I’ll tell the media of the way Amazon happily treat their customers.
Fraudulent corporate companies like these need to be held accountable for their actions.

TWO Wrongly Delivered Parcels by Amazon Logistics

I am giving Amazon Logistics a ONE star rating for two deliveries I ordered from companies who use Amazon Logistics to deliver their goods. Both were delivered to a different street.

FIRST WRONG DELIVERY
I received a message on my phone that my parcel was delivered. I knew that it had not been delivered to MY address as I was waiting in for it. As Amazon Logistics have delivered my parcels to a different street before, I walked up the road and found it stuffed behind a bin. When I got back home, I saw the Amazon van pass (to deliver to a neighbour) and went out to question the driver. He did not seem to care when I questioned him.

I am sick of having to go opening the bins of houses in different streets just to find my parcels, when my address is clearly marked on the front of the parcel.

SECOND WRONG DELIVERY
Yesterday. This time, I was again waiting in for a delivery when a woman knocked at my front door and gave my parcel to me. It had been delivered to a random address about half a mile away (same door number). I apologised and thanked her for bringing it round. Then, again, I saw the Amazon van pass and went out to question the driver about my wrongly delivered parcel.

HE DID NOT SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH!!!, but had a translation app on his mobile which he used to communicate (not very well) with me. But it was difficult to get across the question 'WHY DO YOU NOT LOOK AT THE ADDRESS ON THE PARCEL?' on which my address is clearly marked. It appears Amazon tell their drivers to ignore what is written on the parcel, and to only follow the information on the Amazon app, which is clearly giving them the WRONG information.

I have complained to Amazon Logistics and am waiting for their reply. I cc'd one of the companies concerned. The other I contacted separately.
