The order was reasonably timely in arriving - but it wasn't clear on ordering that the product required shipping from the US, which meant it didn't arrive in time for his actual birthday, which he was very disappointed about. A recommendation therefore is that the website provides clear delivery timeframes

I ordered two wooden swings from ToysCentral NZ and both arrived damaged—not due to shipping, but because of poor manufacturing. The quality is extremely disappointing, especially considering the price paid.
I have tried multiple times to contact their customer service through phone, email, and their online forms, but I have received no response. It’s incredibly frustrating to be ignored when you’re trying to resolve an issue with a faulty product.
I would not recommend buying from this company. If something goes wrong with your order, don’t expect any help from them. I’m still trying to get a refund, but based on my experience so far, I’m not holding my breath. We will not be purchasing from this company again

No communication regarding missing order, phone number is not answered and call disconnected after one ring, offices at Auckland address appears to be fabricated. I believe this to be a scam website. Be more careful with your money than I was with mine.
Update: 4th of March
So shorty after posting this review we did receive some communication. After some investigation they discovered it had been posted to the wrong address. As the seller was in error they agreed to resend the package to the correct address and should we be inclined to update our experience on this website. Well, it's been over a month and we are yet to receive our package or a refund. I can only conclude we are being held to ransom. I shall not be black mailed. Be more careful with your money than I was with mine.

Very poor communication. I have tried repeatedly to contact this company regarding an order placed on 12th January. They have not responded to 3 emails and the phone number provided on their website is never answered. The tracking number sent to me saying my order had been dispatched via DHL does not work and DHL have no record of any shipment for me. I appear to have lost a considerably amount of money! 🤐

Reliable efficient trust worthy

Order took a while but I thought it was shipping from within my home country, not overseas, so that was a very reasonable time frame. I bought the Gwent set with all cards, including the dlc cards, the box, the map, and the play mat for my brother and he absolutely loves it! Thank you!

I ordered 2 games from this company, half of the order sent other half not sent. Total lack of communications, as the phone number doesn't work and their mailing address is also bogus. I am indeed happy with the first (if pricey) game, however I am informed by a new zealand online company that the half order scam is meant to rely on my not being diligent in persuing the second half so it becomes pure profit. 5 emails, no response. phone is bogus and my request for a refund not acknowledged. I spoke to a scam specialist attached to the new zealand consumers institute and they informed me that this is not unusual with companies that merely order from temu and dropship (I think that is the correct term. I have a relative who working in an on-line company here in NZ as a communications consultant, and she will be spreading the word. it is worth noting that Homeloft nz are the same people

My apologies to ToysCentral. The puzzle arrived the day after I posted the review below. It's in good condition and I look forward to completing it.

I ordered a jigsaw puzzle in December 2024 (order NZ-TC#P459413465) and was advised on 2 Jan 2025 it was being shipped. Since then, I have been bombarded by emails, allegedly from DHL, stating there is a problem with my address. The only obvious address error is the '0' missing from my postcode. Attempts to click the tracking link either do not work or are identified as risky by my browser. The DHL emails all end up in my Junk folder. No reply to an email to Toys Central and the phone number on the website does not work. I would not trust this company again.

Good service, not as fast as i would have hoped but considering the time of year and distance it was understandable. The item was a gift so I cant give a review but from what i saw it was good quality and was as the picture had shown.

Would purchase again!

**Update** - Funnily enough once I posted on here, the company made contact. They have allowed return, but customers beware - THIS IS NOT A NZ COMPANY and even though I have purchased from a NZ website with a NZ mailing address listed on their website, they advise that given they sourced it from the US, I have to pay for it to get back to the US!! I have ensured they are aware this is not legal, but they insist it is at my expense. Unfortunately I have no option but to pay a $55 shipping fee if I am to return my product for a refund. I advised I was happy to pay NZ shipping, but not the US. Just a warning to all NZ customers really - don't get sucked in by how easy it looks to return things. It could be that shipping to the US is actually more than the product you purchased. This company doesn't even deserve the 1 star.**

Ordered a very expensive toy for my child ($180). I needed to return it and get a refund (all above board in T&Cs), emailed twice with no response. Phoned and number is disconnected. Terrible experience, seemed like a legit website when I was searching for the item, but wish I had come across all these negative reviews here on Trustpilot first and I wouldn't have proceeded. DO NOT RISK BUYING WITH THIS COMPANY.

Easy to find, easy to transact, delivery within expected timeframes and product in excellent condition.

I completed my order online, my mistake I misread the heading I thought that I was purchasing a sandpit not a sandpit cover, I emailed the same evening within an hour of receiving the order confirmation asking for the order to be cancelled and funds refunded, well within the 48 hours of completing the purchase, (Cancellations were able to be made within 48 hours, as per Terms and Conditions) never had any response. I tried to make contact by phone numerous times, no response. Emailed a second time, no response.

I did received the sandpit cover within the advised delivery timeframe. But now I have a cover which is absolutely of no use to me.

If I had had a response with the first email sent, and the order cancelled I would have been very happy.

I will not be purchasing from you again.
