I ordered two identical items in late November with separate shipping addresses. One item arrived 10 days later while there is still no sign of the second item. Like other reviewers I have emailed twice and had no response and the 800 phone number does not work. The tracking number shows no progress on shipping. Very poor performance from Toy Central and still waiting.

Excellent service, my purchase arrived in perfect condition in two weeks. I received updates on the progress of the parcel and it was securely delivered to my apartment in Auckland CBD. Thanks

good selection of toys and fast delivery

Placed an order on 4 December expecting it to be on time for Christmas. I still haven't received a shipping confirmation or tracking number and it's now 13 December. No reply to my email sent 2 days ago and the phone number listed doesn't work. Very disappointed.
UPDATE: authentic product received in early January (one month after initial order). They have said they will take on board my feedback regarding the need for a working phone number.

10.12.24 - I appreciate your response.However, I am unclear which registered email address you are referencing. Do you mean the workplace email from which I purchased the items from or my personal one from which I sent the follow up email? Could you please confirm the email address in question. It is essential you also provide a contact email or phone number so we can resolve this matter as soon as possible.

9.12.24 - I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and service from your company. I placed an order for a set of magnetic tiles for our early childhood centre in early November, spending over $300. Despite an email on 20th November stating that the item had been shipped, I have yet to receive anything.

The tracking details have not been updated, the tracking link doesn’t work, and your provided phone number doesn’t connect. I sent a follow-up email on 28th November and have not received any response. At this point, I am questioning the legitimacy of your company, as this feels like a scam.

The tracking number for my order is NZ-TC#P507334974. I demand an immediate update on the status of my order and expect a resolution ASAP.

WARNING!!! Do not shop here... they do not have a New Zealand presence. The address and phone number are fake.

I also started receiving SPAM immediately after making a purchase. The SPAM included the sales order number. It asked me to pay duties, which is clearly an email trying to defraud me.

I have nothing but good to say as the parcel turned up super fast, communication was fantastic and the whole transaction was perfect. I see there is lots of bad feedback but my experience was 10 out of 10. Keep up the good work and have a nice day

Easy to order, well packed and quick service

Hi. In the end, following my complaint to them by email and via this review (see below), ToysCentral have actually been very helpful. First, I received the tracking information to know where my toys are, which they were keeping an eye on, and in the end they arrived on time. It has taken a while, but in the end I received a good service.
I would still like to know why they were initially not responding, why their phone number doesn't work, and why they do not state that the toy comes from overseas. In any case, I must say they have done a good job in the end.
My initial complaint: I am very upset with this company. Like other customers, I have spent a lot of money (more than $250) on 2 toys on 5 November and haven't received them yet. I received an email on 13 November, saying that one of them had been shipped. Then I found that my invoice was in Singapore dollars, so it's not coming from New Zealand. I have not had any replies by email, and the phone number doesn't exist. Also, the link to the tracking number doesn't work, which makes me think it's a scam. Tracking number is NZ-TC#P054295995. I would like an update NOW.

1 * is far too generous This company is a scam. Drop shipping fools who dont advertise the fact . They make you believe the products are in NZ. Disgusting DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY

They don’t deserve one star, that’s far too generous. This company is a fricken joke. I paid for a game but have received zero information or confirmation since. Product hasn’t arrived, been a while since ordered. I will be going to my bank and reversing the payment because it absolutely is a scam. Can’t contact at all. Emails bounce straight back. No replies from website messages. I’m so angry as it said it was a New Zealand site but definatly not. It also doesn’t take this long to send within New Zealand. How is this company getting. Away with this and still operating?!!

Edit: the response below is the exact same response they have given every single person who reviews them on here (going back years) no courier company has delays like this all times of the year. It’s a feeble excuse.
I still, a month later, have no order confirmation, tracking number or parcel. It is absolutely a scam. Please do not order from them. I have found several other businesses with the exact same address and phone number as them. They have several sham businesses. Look up Ninth Avenue -exact same address and phone number but is also a scam and they also have a “sports shop “ with a similar name also.theres scam reviews on every single one.
There so called 24/7 phone number picks up then hangs up. Every email bounces back. They put this response up to look like they are communicating but it’s just to save face on here. They have no intention of ever sending the product. It’s definatly not a NZ website like it says. It’s all a farce just to thieve hard earned money off of people because they are too lazy to go work for their own money. They would rather steal from people.

Absolutely disgusted with this company. Ordered a game weeks ago and still haven’t received it. I’ve tried the tracking number and it’s invalid, tried calling but the number doesn’t work and no reply to multiple email. Wanting either a full refund or guaranty of the game actually arriving 😡😡😡

Is there a negative star? Because I highly believe they should be banned! I ordered a bouncy castle a month ago and paid for it in full since they dont have an option of other payments. Two weeks after they say that its out of stock so they will replace with similar product. I specifically stated it is needed in 3 weeks . Just now they refunded me (well thanks for that) but the point is how can you let a month pass before saying oh its out of stock. You left your client in a difficult position because now I need to find an item with little time left! Total waste of my time considering I had to email for the supposedly alternative product. No heads up whatsoever and was just given the refund with no apologies or explanation. Time wasters!! Take this company down!!

I ordered a tilting jigsaw table for my 92yr old Mother who has arthritis in her neck. After I purchased it I read the reviews and was concerned that I may have been scammed! I immediately received a tracking email confirming the purchase. It took a couple of weeks to arrive but the communication and tracking were fantastic and it was really well packaged. I set the table up for Mum today and it is awesome - everything I was hoping it would be - thank you Toy Central

The goods I received were not what was pictured and a rip off. I contacted the company and they offered a small refund to spend at their store when I wanted to return them for a full refund. I have sent the goods back and have lost $75 in the process which is more than they are worth. I will not purchase from here again.

Scam site. Made an order and received email confirmation. Order never showed up. Tried to contact them via email multiple times and never heard back!
