I taught for this company for over 2 years. The first couple years went fairly smoothly. I enjoyed working with the staff and pupils at the schools, and my communications with the admin from TR was generally good. However I did often hear reports from parents and schools of issues with parent's invoices. Often parents would complain that they couldn't get hold of anyone from the company. Often they were getting billed for lessons the students had not had. They have no telephone number to discuss issues with and use only email to communicate with customers. The third year with them was when the problems really began. Three consecutive invoices (September, October and November) went unpaid, each for weeks. Despite my contract stating my invoices would be paid with 30 days of submission. When trying to chase up the late payments I did not get responses, and when I did it was just different excuses each time. I was in contact with other teachers who had exactly the same experience. Many teachers simply stopped going in, which of course left the parents and pupils out of pocket. I left due to the payment issue and a family emergency. I was left in debt unable to pay my rent and bills due to their repeated failures to pay. I felt bad for leaving the schools as I had built a rapport with the pupils, but I could not afford to work for a company that didn't pay me. It seemed the admin staff changed since I began working for them which could explain things. I would advise against working for, or signing up for lessons with this company, and look for private tutors instead.

Avoid this company like the plague they do not pay the teachers properly and I’ve lost so much money on them through there cancellations still waiting to hear back 3 months later!!

They do not pay their staff (music teachers) properly as we have been told by one of them, they take money from your personal bank account even if you are in a dispute, they are not communicating, they hide behind a bot, they have no shame nor consideration for any of the kids or school they are misleading, they are breaching their own so called contract and yet have the arrogance of calling them selves rad. Getting the trading standard involved.

If I could give a zero I would. I wish I had come onto trust pilot to double check that they had good reviews way before I sent them any money.

They will not return my money despite cancelling my child’s piano lessons on the morning of the lessons due to begin because they have no piano teacher. According to them they can keep my money until they find another one in 2 months. They also charged me a late fee for the piano lessons that were due to begin.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. I’m now getting Trading Standards involved.

I usually never write review. I wish there was negative star. I cancelled my son lessons in previous invoice and they said it will be cancel at the end lesson of the invoice.But today they send invoice and took money from my account without my consent. Can any one suggest how to get rid off these people.

Company is an absolute JOKE. However, at least jokes are funny. These lot take your money, cancel lessons, don't respond to emails, no sod to talk to about it and refuse a refund! AND, they still have the gall to BOMBARD you with emails for more money for more lessons despite the fact THEY CANCELLED HALF THE LESSONS YOU'VE ALREADY PAID FOR! I'd sooner chew broken glass and staple my nips together than deal with this company in any capacity again.

My child has lessons at school and it's been dreadful, constant missed lessons and being charged for them, not receiving credits. Child being randomly moved groups as other children cancel lessons (happens alot due to it being so poorly run) which means starting all over again with new children who are learning basic skills despite my child being several months infront and more advanced, when I questioned this they say the only option is to move to 1:1 which costs alot more. Overall it's been poor and I would not recommend.. I have lost out on so much money.

Looking at my child's progress app the last 3 weeks lessons have been closed as teacher cancelled and the two before no record.. and the two before this cancelled by teacher (yes its that bad).. this has been consistently happening since day one, seven months later and I have give up and cancelled.

If I could give less than 1 star I would give that. This company is a disgrace. The teachers cancel consistently. Even if a teacher cancels they still charge despite the cancellation.the invoices do not break down how much they are charging you. There isn't a customer service number that you can call. Everything is via email so they hide behind emails. They exploit young students by being the only music service in schools but yet being absolutely rubbish in every way. I would recommend that you avoid at all costs if you can get music lessons elsewhere. This is company is a joke.

They keep trying to take money from my bank and threatening a 15 % surcharge on unpaid invoices for lessons that have not taken place. Unacceptable. They are not fit to run a business and extort money from people trying to help their children learn an instrument. Please avoid

Terrible company, no communication apart from an AI email function. 50% of my daughters lessons have been cancelled due to staff illness, 50%!

Company refuses to communicate with customers!

Enquired through a school link with regard to singing lessons, just to get more information. The next thing I know I have received an invoice with no actual other information.

Tried to contact them via emails (they only give out email addresses or a very ineffective AI bot) but nobody ever responds or calls me back.

Daily text messages about the invoice are received and threats to add a 15% late fee charge! Even though the lessons (that I did not request) haven’t even started yet.

Appalling company - avoid!!

We made what seemed like an enquiry about this service and ever since we have been getting harassed by the companies AI bot about payment for a service we haven’t received and don’t want.

We have been unable to speak to anyone in person and it is incredibly frustrating.

Awful company to deal with - as others have said stay away.

I worked for this company for just over a year and frankly I was appalled at the way they run their business. I don’t know if it was just disorganisation or apathy but there were many problems and my experience was not a happy one. My first post was teaching guitar in a primary school. I always tried my best to work diligently and professionally and had no problem with the school staff or the kids, who were great. However, I was soon hearing of complaints coming from parents who, like the other reviewer, had had large amounts of money taken from their bank accounts with lessons not being fulfilled. From what I was told, I think the way they worked was to sign people up for a whole term or perhaps longer and then take all the money for the lessons in a lump sum. Then, when the lessons weren’t taking place for whatever reason (maybe because at that point they were still looking for someone to fill the teaching position) parents were trying to cancel and or get refunds and they were getting fobbed off, or in most cases it seemed they were unable to even make contact with the company at all. Anyway, for my part, although I am an experienced guitar player and have experience of working with children, I had never taught the instrument before. This was no problem for TR though who basically threw me in at the deep end with no training or monitoring of my performance. It then turned out that the school needed a piano teacher. I was asked if I could fill that role as well and I explained that my knowledge of that instrument was sparse to say the least. Not a problem for TR who signed me up as a keyboard teacher without a second thought, and again I was basically parachuted into this role with no training or experience. I did what I could, but I felt it was wrong to be trying to teach a subject that I knew so little about. Another issue was that the cheap guitars that they had provided had started to become unfit for purpose (the necks had started to warp). I reported this to them and told them that I couldn’t teach on instruments that were unplayable. This information went unheeded for weeks and was still unresolved when I quit, which did because that, and the constant reports of complaints made to the school office from disgruntled parents who couldn't take their frustrations up with TR and which ended up having to be fielded by me, and my misgivings about teaching an instrument on which I was far from proficient, basically made the choice a no-brainer. Horrible experience. As part of the school program, my son got enrolled with this music school but even before he started, the school changed provider. I got billed for lessons he didn’t take and impossible to cancel. I’m getting daily reminders to pay for something he never received, when trying to contact them they only communicate by email (through) a Bot and there’s no phone number or human being to speak with. Complete rubbish. Stay far from this business.
