I recently purchased a strap for a watch of mine from Toshi-Straps. The entire experience was relaxing and you are kept informed of what is happening and the timelines. I received an email informing me that the straps were ready and when they were posted. I received the straps late but this was as a result of delays at Royal Mail. The straps are fantastic and I am truly elated with my purchase. There is real quality there, the straps fit the watch perfectly and is a wonderful fit on the arm. I have no qualms about referring Toshi-Straps at all!

Bought two in three months after spending many months researching and sourcing bespoke leather straps for an Oris Aquis...

The online order process is very straight forward with lots of choice and easy access to info and tips.... Both orders were placed with an expected four week eta.. and both orders were turned around in half the time. Rich is very helpful and you can tell how much he cares about his customers and the product.

I love the finished product, the straps look and feel great and are everything I was looking for. Definitely recommend!

Ordered two bespoke leather watch straps for a Tudor Heritage Black Bay.
Richard provided great guidance throughout the ordering process from advising on the strap size in relation to my wrist measurements coupled to the Black Bays dimensions.

I made my first purchase with Toshi Straps in 2009 and already owns 7 pieces from them. The quality is awesome, and the choice of leathers, colors, stitching... is huge. I wanted a top quality strap for my tudor black bay and that's what I got! I had looked on the site and was undecided between 2 colours, I emailed Rich, told him which watch it was going on and asked for his opinion.
He suggested the "gunpowder" so I went with that.
I was kept updated from the off and the strap arrived earlier than planned. Rich is clearly passionate about his work and the quality is outstanding. I cannot recommend these straps enough.

Before I start I would urge you to read the ridiculous comment/review from an awkward customer that has wrongly lowered Rich from Toshi's 5 star review! Utter nonsense and some people really are impossible to deal with. Anyway onto my review...

After purchasing MANY straps over the years, looking for that perfect combination of colour, texture and comfort, I've finally found a favourite strap for my Panerai. It makes you realise that quality over quantity is so important.

I was looking for a strap to match my redwing boots and belt. I ordered a "Tempest" from Rich with natural stitching, it's a beautiful subtle burgundy brown, and smells fantastic. It really needed very little wearing before it started to soften up and become extremely comfortable. The stitching, length and hole positions are all spot on. There's hundreds of thousands of "hand made" straps on ebay and etsy which are clearly mass produced and bad quality tough leather (trust me I've bought a few), and this really is no comparison.
Having so many size, colour and buckle options, it really does mean your getting a truly unique strap.
With excellent contact from Rich straight after my purchase, and then again after receiving my strap, it fills you with confidence knowing that a real honest person has made your custom accessory piece.

Great value for money knowing what work goes into making them, and you can wear with pride knowing your sporting the best out there.

I recently bought a citizen eco drive Star Wars with a leather strap. On delivery I found the strap to be poorly made and far too short, so over Christmas I set out to find something better. The watch was bought to remember my dad who passed away in October, he took me to see Star Wars on my 8th birthday so this seemed appropriate. During my search for a bespoke strap I came across Toshi Straps.The website was beautifully designed, simple and clean but with obvious attention to detail. I had questions which Rich answered personally and quickly and I soon decided to place an order. The only difficulty encountered was deciding on the leather and stitching. Expecting a delivery in three weeks I was delighted to receive the strap in just a few days & it is as beautiful as I had hoped and expected it to be. I’ve been buying from Toshi for a while now, it’s saved me a fortune giving my timepieces a new look rather than buying more expensive watches. The workmanship is top quality as is the leather Rich makes them with, it’s great to find a true artisan who is passionate about what he does. If you are looking for a new leather watch strap I can’t recommend Toshi Straps highly enough.

Over the last 7 years I have bought 5 custom made leather straps of varying sizes from Toshi Straps. Each piece has arrived as expected some much better in the "flesh" than the online photos are able to do justice. Definitely a watch strap maker that I would recommend for owners of Panerai, Christopher Ward, Seiko Divers and my daily drivers - my Fortis, who are looking for sturdy leather straps of character. My first set has aged well and my most recent - a buffalo hide "cyclone" is the best so far. The online photos don't do it justice. Great to support British Businesses, keep up the good work Rich.

Been looking for a quality leather strap for my watch for a while. Decided on a hand-made Toshi strap. Just received the strap and it is of a very high quality. Just what I hoped for. Very well made and sets the watch off perfectly. Can't fault the service I received at all. Rich kept me updated as to progress and was able to complete the order a week earlier than anticipated. Communication was good including confirming spec of strap before beginning to make it. The strap is excellent value for money and I would not hesitate to buy another from Rich, in fact I'd say Toshi Straps will be my go to supplier for leather watch straps from now on.

I've just received my custom strap from Rich at Toshi Straps and to say I'm thrilled to bits is an understatement.

The whole process has been excellent with plenty of information on ensuring I ordered the correct lengths, super choice of leathers (I went for the Ruby Cordovan), and great communications from Rich confirming my order, the need for tubes, delivery timeframe and finally when the strap was dispatched.

The strap itself is superb - opening the packaging and getting a whiff of the leather before I'd even seen the strap, then seeing the workmanship, super even hand-stitching, and the colour ... this beats the original Panerai straps hands down!

I'm more than happy to recommend Toshi Strap and I'll be making Rich my first port of call for new straps in the future - very happy!

Just received my strap almost a week ahead of the originally estimated delivery date and I am very happy with it. Gorgeous supple leather and superbly crafted - exactly like the photos on the website in fact. Clear & responsive communication from Rich throughout the process made it all very easy to ensure the strap was just right for my watch.
Great value for a beautiful and genuinely hand crafted strap. I will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended.

10/10. Can't commend Richard Beard's service at Toshi highly enough. He paid a lot of attention after my order went in to ensure the specification was correct for my watch - Panerai 372 - including leather type, width and holes, and one the superb handmade buckles he has sourced, and kept me fully informed of progress. I received it a couple of days before Rich's originally projected schedule. The strap is superb. The leather is beautiful and Rich's craftsmanship is exemplary. The strap carries the 47mm 372 better than any in-house Panerais I've had. Thoroughly recommended.

I ordered a strap for my Panerai Luminor GMT after visiting the website. The instructions are clear but you have to read them before placing an order to avoid misunderstandings. You have to confirm again via mail your details of your order before the production can start, makes perfect sense and works for me.

The time of production was a little less than estimated and the result is simply awesome. I ordered a strap in lime, looks very nice to jeans and white shirt, love it.

It’s lovely to see real artisan craftsmanship is still around these days. Rich is incredibly talented and the two straps I ordered from him arrived in double quick time and are of the highest quality. I read another review of his from a guy that had bought straps from all over the place and I have done the same in the past, Toshi Straps are simply leagues ahead of anything I have previously bought and I intend to add to my collection to give my watch a different look from time to time.
