Excellent experience purchasing a watch strap for Toshi. The strap itself is extremely high quality and exceeds my expectations. Communication was great and I received the shipment in the timeframe expected. Will buy again in the future.

I just received my third order from Rich Beard, the owner of Toshi Straps, and this non frequent reviewer absolutely has to say - Toshi Straps are terrific ! I received straps in the following colors - Candy, Ultraviolet, Horween Football, and Derby - yes, very different from each other, but I urge you to take alook at them - vibrant, colorful, and true statement pieces. The quality of construction is truly flawless and the leather itself is just remarkable. Yes, I'm gushing, and no, I am not being paid to say these things. No, they aren't cheap, but nothing of true quality ever is, but the value is there. Give Rich a try, you will not regret it !

I first ordered a strap from Rich in 2017. It was great, and lasted well, but I was lazy about cleaning it and it once got very wet by accident. It wasn’t looking its best, so I decided to get a new one.

Once you’re on Rich’s mailing list, you’ll be notified of periodic sales - maybe twice a year. This is not a sale of existing stock by the way, all of his straps are made to order. Just before Easter this year I took advantage of a sale where the more straps you ordered, the bigger % discount you got - going for a ‘buy 3 get 30% off’.

His website has very clear, high quality photos of all his strap colours (a huge selection) mounted on a Panerai Luminor Base. This is ideal for me as this is my watch! I decided to go with a yellow (Giallo) for summer, an orange/brown (Arancio) and a slightly washed out black (Zombie). They arrived a week ahead of schedule, and they are even better than I remember from my first order. Perfectly made, lovely thick leather, beautiful stitching and weighty Panerai style buckles.

Each of my straps cost £95 before the discount, which I think is incredible value for money for a true artisan product. The cheapest leather strap from Panerai currently retails for £240, and having owned one of these they are nowhere near the same quality.

I just received four watch straps from Rich at Toshi straps. Excellent work, as always! Went back and counted and I have ordered 14 straps from Toshi over the years, and all are happily used in my watch rotation.

He uses the best leathers (soft and supple) and has some very unusual and cool colors. For someone who likes a pop of (comfortable) color on their wrist, give Rich a try. He is excellent to work with!

I'm a watch person and have bought leather straps from several different makers. Since I bought my first strap from Toshi Straps I've bought all of my leather straps from here. I've ordered about 10 straps over the past few years. They look great and I've gotten many, many compliments about them.

The straps are handmade and highly customizable. From types of leather, color, stitching, types of buckles, width, length- you can choose something that is really special and unique for you.

I've bought four for my Panerai Luminor but others have been for more refined and traditional-looking Seiko's and a Zenith. The quality of the leather, the hardware, and the straps all together have been stellar. I've found the descriptions of the leathers to be spot-on.

Communication has been really good. Straps have been prepared and shipped timely, and with good communication. They are handmade and being shipped from the UK to me in the US. So things like holidays and international shipping will impact how long it's taken me to receive them. But communication from order receipt to telling me they've shipped and the tracking number has been good. As I've had questions and asked for recommendations responses have been great.

If you are a watch person or just have a watch that's special to you and you're looking for a leather strap, I'd strongly recommend considering Toshi straps.

As was expected Rich was an absolute pleasure to deal with, helping to make sure I ordered the correct length for achieving my preferred fit, and his attention to detail is second to none.

The strap arrived bang on time, fitted both the watch and my wrist perfectly, and the quality of the leather, and the quality of manufacture was as usual right out of the top drawer.

I think Rich's straps are absolutely first class. I've been buying them for more than 10 years. Beautiful colours and stitching options. If you want an artisinal, chunky, unique strap for a big chunky watch these are for you! If you want a dainty, tapering croc/gator for your dress watch then maybe not so much. I think these work best on U-Boat, Panerai, Breitling, chunky boutique divers, etc. It takes a bold watch to stand up to these beasts! Don't expect delicate, they are well finished and luxurious but rustic and handmade. I'm obsessed with them! I have way too many!

First class product, excellent customer service, highly recommended. I wanted a leather strap for my 45mm Planet Ocean, a big nail needs a big hammer. The Toshi Vintage Black leather with black stitching is the strap that the large Planet Ocean deserves. I give the highest recommendation for Rich's communication, timeline to delivery and high quality product. Buying lesser quality products is a false economy. If you have a watch you love, get yourself a Toshi strap.

I got a beautiful goat skin Toshi strap today. Wonderfully soft leather, excellent craftsmanship, arrived early. Good communication too.

I've ordered three straps from Toshi Straps and I've been thrilled with the results every time. They look stunning, and the craftsmanship shows.

I have purchased 5 straps from Toshi, so felt that a review was in order. I cannot fault Rich's craftsmanship and combined with a superb range of hides his straps are absolutely outstanding. So far I have sampled buffalo, horween, kudu, nubuck, and standard veg tanned leather. All are extremely comfortable and with a bit of advice, the perfect fit. All of the straps that I ordered arrived when expected and communications throughout were excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough and it's great to have a UK based strap maker now that "the thing that shall not be named" has made EU purchasing difficult. Wouldn't go anywhere else these days. Thanks again for the straps and service!

I found Toshi Straps through a colleague and what a recommendation it was. Rich is totally on the ball and keeps you informed all the way from first placing the order to receipt of delivery. I went for Tangerine Dream and I certainly wasn't disappointed. It was better than the original Panerai strap that I had.

Responsive customer service from the purchase phase to the delivery. Had some issues with my credit card company and Rich offered alternative order and payment method. When international mailing was an issue due COVID lockdown, I was duly kept posted of the developments.

High quality handmade product and great customer service. I have 2 of these straps and both are great quality and comfortable to wear. The website is very clear when ordering but if in doubt you can email Rich direct with any questions, he is always quick in coming back to you. Quick turnaround time well within what was stated.
