Incredible service, and adorable items!
I placed an order at the end of January for Valentines' day, and my order arrived so quickly, with me being updated through the whole process via email. I couldn't be happier with what I ordered; my partner absolutely loves the chocolates and mini plush. I've purchased from Tofucute before, and they have always provided a wonderful experience for me, along with having such an incredible selection of cute plushies and snacks!

Very quick shipping within UK. Everything was exactly as I ordered and they even gave me a free pen. I have purchased from this site for a few years and always had a good experience. This is one of the best Kawaii shops in the UK.

Great place for your Japanese snack needs!
I ordered the Sumo size snack bag and I'm super happy with it! Great variety of snacks, and the value is definitely there. Also the drawstring bag is super cute so that's a nice bonus. My package was shipped and arrived in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend Tofu Cute and I see myself ordering again in the future!

It's a great place for Japanese snacks, and if you don't know which ones to choose, the lucky bag is a great option.

I regret my purchase
All of the toys received were heavily covered in some kind of crumbs, pencil has sticky residue on it and paper goods were bent - some more than the others. Reply I have received would have been alright as they have offered to return the items or £3 voucher as apology however the tone it’s written in was very unprofessional.
Entire vibe had “it’s not our fault” and “it’s not a big deal” stamped all over it. Seeing the response they have given to other low star reviews just confirms that they have difficulty suppressing their somewhat manipulative attitude.
The presentation of the goods received is equal to the presentation of the customer service.
Also, I came across their social media post where they are throwing toys out of the window onto the street as an attempt to guilt people into buying them which only further confirms their attitudes towards their business, how they deal with stock and customers. I wish I saw this sooner as I would’ve avoided them altogether.
Feels like shop is run by kids who will also treat you as one. I would return my entire order but have no energy to deal with such communication.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear you were upset with your order. As we mentioned in the email, we use eco-friendly cardboard shredding and this can cause some small pieces to end up on the products but they can be easily wiped off and are not harmful to customers or the products.
We apologised four times in the email that we sent to you and offered for the whole order to be returned including free postage as an alternative to the gift voucher. We're not sure how this seemed unprofessional as we addressed each part of your query (and apologised) and then gave options to remedy the issues. Some companies outsource or even use AI but as we're the ones working on packing orders as well as customer service, we have a full understanding of any issues so can address each part directly.
The video that was put up on social media was with products owned by the staff and meant as a bit of fun, we're sorry that you were upset by this. No animals were harmed in the making of the video and infact they all enjoyed the exhilaration. We do what we can to encourage people to find kawaii in their lives but guilting customers is not our intention. I assure you, we may have the hearts of children but our combined ages say otherwise...!
Sorry again about any trouble and we do hope you enjoy your products or choose to return them so someone else can! I can see you made quite a large order so I really hope you were happy with the other items.

We apologise for the shredding on the plush, this is from the protective paper we have added to your order to prevent damage however this should just wipe away. Although we try to keep envelopes flat there may be movement of the products in the post which has bent this a little; once the card has been put in the envelope this should straighten it out. We apologise for the glue on the pencil, we're not quite sure what that is, it doesn't look like it is on our other pencils.
We can give you a voucher for £3 as an apology or you are welcome to send the items back to us for a refund or a swap ^^

Update- I got a lovely and understandable response from Devon at Tofu so I've increased my rating to reflect that. Myself and my family are regular customers, my first ever order was through a friend and i'd heard at the time they were selling lucky bags at an event.. Tofu were brilliant and allowed me to buy a lucky bag even though i couldn't attend the event.. the lucky bag contained japanese candy, Amuse plushies and i received a miniature amuse puchimaru charm which is how we became regular customers! from personal experience i highly recommend, maybe one day we might take a long trip and visit 😊

Excellent service
The little cute sticker left in the parcel just says how much their employees value each and every customer. I've been shopping here for years and everything has always been spot on with their service. Only issue is the stock seems to run out quickly on their website, but that is not a disaster.
