It’s great to hear the timber made fantastic shelving. Thank you for your recommendation, and we look forward to helping you with your next project!
Excellent delivery service!
The company's price for what I needed was competitive, and it was great to be able to get it delivered.
The delivery man took care to lay down some scrap wood to put the boards on, so no damage was done when he stacked them down the side of the house.
A happy customer!

Lovely timber and people
They could not have been more helpful. I was only buying one offcut of timber, but they went out of their way to arrange it. Quick delivery, and I now have a very handsome shelf.

No communication and lies
Order placed with a delivery costing extra for that day. Items were fairly basic. No communication at all apart from acceptance of the order and the money taken.
I phoned on the day of delivery to find that most of items were on back order and would be delivered this week. Cancelled the order but no confirmation. Phoned the next day and insisted on an email being to confirm cancellation.
10 working days later but still no refund. Phoned to be told refund had been provided so asked for ARN to be sent so I could ask for tracking from my credit card company.
Had a promised phone call to be told the refund had been issued previously.
Unsurprisingly the money appeared on my credit card as pending and they told me it had been issued that day.
I’m sure the timber is great quality but the communication is appalling, even then I may have still gone back. However the outright lies shows there is something wrong inside the company.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are deeply sorry for the frustration, lack of communication, and delays you experienced with your order and subsequent refund. This is far from the standard of service we hold ourselves to, and we completely understand why this experience left you so disappointed.
While we’re glad the refund has now reached your account, we take your comments regarding our communication and transparency very seriously. There was clearly a breakdown in our internal processes from the backorder updates through to the processing of your cancellation and refund, and we are reviewing what went wrong so we can ensure it doesn't happen again.
We would appreciate the opportunity to look into your specific order details and speak with you directly to apologize properly and make sure everything is fully resolved

Good product but bad communication
Good - The material that was delivered was exactly what had been ordered.
Bad - when ordering I was told 3-5 days lead time. In the end it was almost 1 month and I had to chase what what going on, as opposed to being updated.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
We’re really glad to hear that the material delivered was spot-on and exactly what you ordered! However, we are truly sorry for the significant delay and for failing to keep you updated. Waiting nearly a month when you expected a 3–5 day turnaround—and having to chase us yourself—is completely understandable cause for frustration, and it isn't the standard of service we strive for.
We take communication very seriously, and your feedback highlights an area where we clearly fell short. We're reviewing how we handle lead-time updates so we can ensure our customers are kept informed every step of the way in the future.
Thank you for your patience and for helping us improve. If you ever need assistance with a future project, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Best regards,

Excellent service and very good range…
Excellent service and very good range of woods. All the pieces were a little warped, but within what I'd expect. One piece though was so warped as to be unusable having lost a lot of thickness after jointing.

3 where unusable due to splits. Advert said planed but still needed a good sand. Colour of wood not very consistent. On a positive I did get 3 replacements very quickly.
Quality is better elsewhere.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback, and for acknowledging how quickly our team worked to get those replacement pieces to you.
We’re genuinely sorry to hear that the initial quality and colour consistency fell short of your expectations. Sapele is a natural timber, so grain and colour variation can occur, but receiving split or unusable pieces is certainly not the standard we aim for. Regarding the surface finish, while Planed All Round (PAR) removes the rough sawn texture to achieve accurate final dimensions, it usually requires a light finish-sanding prior to final coating depending on the project.
We always want our customers to be 100% satisfied with their timber. If you'd like to discuss your order further or if there's anything else we can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. We’d appreciate the chance to ensure your next experience is a much better one.
Lovely people!
