Edit: Instead of trying to solve the problems listed, they tagged the review as defamatory to take it down, which, fortunately, was not seen as such by TrustPilot. Besides the issues listed here, we're also waiting a month for a solution regarding a bug which doesn't allow us to refund accounts.
Every update is to make the experience worse instead of bringing new features, such as a simple "rebill now" button when payments fail. Payment frequencies aren't followed, leaving some clients to get charged A YEAR after the last failed rebill, charging accounts that were already cancelled, charging payments 2x, and not reflecting some failed payments, only showing them after the account is already autocancelled due to multiple failed rebills. For each of these issues, it's always blamed on the payment processor, requesting the CEO to go and manage everything personally, without the team being able to do so.
Two years ago, it had a bug with ghost subscriptions, where clients got billed for multiple duplicate subscriptions, and we couldn't even see anything on our end of the dashboard. After a lot of back and forth, the bug was found and fixed.
The bug has now reappeared with multiple accounts, some that were already escalated before and the ghost subscription remained active instead of being cancelled, and we can't even fix it. Before, as an account manager, I was able to solve issues quickly with the team, but now the CEO has to generate a support code from the main account for every small operational issue and bug we encounter, making it impossible to handle anything, even when we're trying to solve bugs ThriveCart created, which were already supposed to be solved! This is a new update, which has only made solving issues a nightmare.
If you're a small business owner without even an assistant to manage your business, it's the only case in which it would be feasible to use ThriveCart (if you're open to solving the other issues it has). If you want to move that responsibility to someone else on your team, it won't be possible; they'll need you to solve every small bug and operational issue.

Thrivecart s'excuse sans arrêt depuis 5 mois en disant "Nous sommes désolés et nous comprenons votre frustration".
Non, ils ne comprennent rien et la réalité est que ça ne les touche pas une minute. S'ils comprenaient, ils auraient corrigé.
J'ai travaillé dans l'informatique et je leur ai même dit "donnez-moi accès aux sources et je vous le corrige en 5 minutes montre en main".
Je vais demander à chacun de mes clients de venir partager leur expérience avec thrivecart et les conséquences que cela a eues pour que vous compreniez mieux ce que vous risquez d'acheter.
It is 11:59pm CST and my customer service agent was up and on it. Quick replies and providing me the straight instructions on what I needed to do to regain access to my account. It did not take long at all. I provided him with the requested documents and was able to log into my account. I couldn't even believe I would be able to get help this late at night. I truly appreciate Errol and ThriveCart for providing outstanding customer service in the middle of the night!!! Lifetime customer here.

I had made a purchase to upgrade to Learn+ and after a day it wasn't in my account. So I reached out to support. I received a fast reply with an immediate fix. They were nice and supportive!

As a marketer, I absolutely would not recommend ThriveCart. I purchased their product using a special "split pay" promotion, which I realized too late requires keeping the *entire* $495 as a hold on your account in addition to monthly payments.
When I reached out to ThriveCart telling them that this wouldn't work, and that I wanted to cancel my account, I kept getting responses from "Edgar" telling me,
"We're unable to proceed with canceling the account from our end. I know that may not be the answer you were hoping for, and I'm really sorry for any frustration this may cause."
I'm not even asking for a refund, just a cancelation, and they can't even tell me why I cannot just cancel my account. And I'm still not sure I actually got a human in any of these interactions.
I will NEVER recommend this software solution for any of my clients ever again. Absolutely abysmal experience and I'm not sure what the heck they're thinking, but hopefully my review will help others stay away.

The platform is really intuitive and easy to use. I have tried several platforms, but this is the easiest. The service is over the top. Nowhere have I gotten so much help, so fast, whenever I have a question or problem.

I purchased ThriveCart ($495 lifetime) expecting a reliable system to sell my offers and manage checkout. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I got ZERO sales.
For first couple of months I thought it was my fault and the offer didn't resonate with customers. When I launched another offer, I looked closely and noticed something interesting.
I saw multiple checkout views and cart bounces, but zero completed sales. Later, two of my customers directly confirmed that they attempted to purchase and were taken through a lengthy looping checkout experience where payments failed — yet they still somehow received confirmation emails and access instructions. There were no corresponding transaction records in ThriveCart, Stripe, PayPal, or Zapier.
This is a serious issue, as it directly impacts revenue and customer trust. From a business perspective, sending confirmation emails without a successful payment is extremely problematic and hurts my brand's credibility.
I spent time working with support to investigate, but I never received a clear explanation of what happened or assurance that it would not happen again.
I also requested a refund, but it was denied strictly based on their 7-day policy, even though the issue only became apparent through live use well after purchase. I think 7 day policy is way unfair because it took me a few days just to get an understanding of the system and to set up my funnel. If there are any technical issues, they may or may not become visible within this timeframe, especially for a small business owner that doesn't have a huge volume of orders right from the start.
Overall, I received zero return on investment and no usable value from the platform and cannot rely on it to process payments correctly. I would strongly recommend testing very carefully before using it for real transactions.
I see a lot of positive reviews and glad that it is working for some people. However, for me - someone who experienced a technical issue and never got resolution or explanation - this platform is very unreliable and I do not recommend it. Not only it was a waste of $495, it was a waste of my time and set me back from product launches by months.
P.S. ThriveCart responded publicly to my review, which may give the impression of accountability. However, in practice, when I emailed them, nothing was resolved. Despite acknowledging my experience and its impact, they declined to investigate the issue further or offer any meaningful solution. The response felt more like a formality to maintain public image rather than a genuine effort to address a serious technical problem. Unfortunately, this reinforces my original concern—not just about the platform’s reliability, but about the lack of true support when something goes wrong.

Great software, worked smoothly and amazingly for years, but the last month has been true hell.
Very long downtime due to literally no redundancy, a bug that on a daily basis sent wrong bills to customers and broke my accounting (payment for a specific product costing €39, billed and recorded as €199, a different product tier — this happened more than 20 times in a month and was never addressed).
Legal team ignored our emails and our legal team (we will proceed, obviously).
Today, a bug they have no idea about is literally blocking all Stripe payments. There is just a very unclear status on the dashboard, and their fix is to instruct the customer on how to complete a successful payment — except the solution they advise doesn't work, obviously.
Support is literally navigating the storm with no tools and no competence. Embarrassing. I feel very sorry for them, because before this hellish month, they had been doing great.

I love using ThriveCart. I originally purchased the lifetime access so that I could easily set up payment plans for my clients. As my work has developed, I have begun using it to share course work on Thrive Learn. I also really appreciate their speedy correspondence if I ever have any technical issues with my account. They are always quickly resolved.

I have been using Thrivecart for the last couple years after using platforms such as Clickfunnels, Go High Level, Podia and more... I like the simplicity, the fact that you pay once and you are done. No subscription fees, no surprise rate increases, it's nice.
It is simple to use and navigate and they are frequently making improvements to make it even better. It integrates with my automation/email software (Keap/Infusionsoft initially and now Mailerlite). If you are looking for a solid place to build sales pages, checkout pages, funnels, etc. especially one without high monthly fees and the neverending subscription model, this is it.
