Perfection!
Everything was so well organised, the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish.
I completed the 3-day Three Peaks Challenge, and I couldn't have asked for a better trip. Breakfast and lunch were provided, which was a great touch, and everything ran smoothly throughout.
The group size was perfect, making the experience feel friendly and well managed. Our driver, Gary, was incredibly friendly, professional, and an excellent driver. Martin and Shaun were absolutely fantastic... so knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help. They made the challenge even more enjoyable with their encouragement and positive attitude.
Overall, it was a perfect experience and I am ready to take part to the next challenge with them. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering the Three Peaks Challenge!
What an incredible experience…
What an incredible experience completing the Three Peaks Challenge! ⛰️
A huge thank you to the team at Three Peaks Challenge for making the whole trip so memorable. Our guides, Sean and Martin, were fantastic from start to finish. They supported us every step of the way, kept spirits high, and made sure everyone felt encouraged throughout the challenge. There were plenty of laughs along the way, and they played a huge part in making the experience so enjoyable.
This was actually my second trip with Three Peaks Challenge. My friend and I completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks with them last year and were fortunate enough to have Martin as our guide then too, so we feel incredibly lucky to have shared two amazing adventures with this company.
We were also blessed with a brilliant group of 11 people who quickly became friends. The support, camaraderie, and laughter made the challenge even more special, and it was genuinely sad to say goodbye at the end.
A quick thank you as well to John, our driver, who safely got us between each peak and helped keep the whole trip running smoothly.
From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience filled with achievement, friendship, and amazing memories. I couldn’t recommend Three Peaks Challenge highly enough. Thank you for another fantastic adventure! 🏔️
BEST WEEKEND EVER
This was the second time i have chosen Three Peaks Challenge for my adventures and i wouldn't trust any one else. This time i tackled the National Three Peaks over 3 days with Shaun and Martin our guides. These guys are so knowledable and take really good care of you, always going above and beyond for our group and kept us all going. I laughed so much my ribs were just as sore as my legs afterwards! The food provided was great, accommodation perfectly acceptable and the pace much much nicer than Three Peaks 24. If you get a good group, are prepared to get stuck in you will have the best time. Three Peaks Challenge knows exactly how to guide through these mountains. Bravo guys, thank you so much, i am wearing my medal with pride. See you again for Yorkshire or Wales.
Fantastic trip
From the very start, everything was so well organised. The information we received before the trip was really helpful, and Steve even got in touch about a week beforehand to check if we had any questions, which was a lovely touch and really put us at ease.
The team were brilliant from the moment they picked us up at Glasgow Airport and honestly made the whole trip. Huge thanks to Shaun, Martin and Gary!
As pescatarians, we really appreciated that they prioritised getting our sandwiches sorted. Breakfasts and lunches were great too - plenty of snacks for the hikes, and they always gave us our packed lunches in advance so you could eat before setting off, take it with you or save it until afterwards. The sandwiches were good quality with decent branded items, which was perfect for the trip.
Shaun was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and great fun he even had the group playing "true or false" with some of his stories - a few people were convinced haggis was actually an animal for a while! 😂 He also booked our evening meal reservations, which took away all the hassle and meant everyone could socialise together if they wanted to (or have some quiet time if they were tired).
Martin was fantastic too. He was always encouraging people, pointing out everyone's strengths and really helping to boost both individual confidence and the group's morale. He even gave someone his gloves when they were cold, carried someone's bag when they were struggling, and was constantly offering around his trail mix. Those little acts of kindness didn't go unnoticed.
Gary was equally brilliant. He was so friendly and approachable - a refreshing change when drivers can sometimes barely say a word! He was attentive throughout and always happy to help.
The team were fantastic at communicating with each other and always had everything under control, even when people had to drop out or behind due to illness, injury or differing abilities. They also spoke so highly of Maria and Steve, and it was obvious they genuinely love what they do and really care about giving everyone a great experience.
What stood out most was how naturally Shaun and Martin created such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Nothing ever felt forced - they were just genuinely great people to spend the weekend with, and that made such a difference to the whole experience.
We'll definitely be booking with 3 Peaks Challenge again, and if we're lucky enough to get Shaun and Martin leading our trip, we'll be absolutely delighted!
Medal is really good quality

Delivery so quick.
Failed to deliver
Guides and drivers were friendly, but this company failed to deliver the three peaks challenge. After Ben Nevis we got stuck in traffic and the tour company decided they could not get us to scarfell pike, so instead took us to a mountain in Yorkshire, then half way up Snowdon a member of the group fell ill and we had to turn back. Whilst you could argue these events were out of their control, the tour did not have the foresight to plan around the traffic, lacked sufficient drivers to deal with traffic delays and if some of their guides had chosen to summit Snowdon instead of having a nap on the truck, or if they had the judgement to tell people to stay in the truck when they are clearly struggling, the medical incident probably could have been managed without turning the group around, or avoided completely. It also did not help that the company owner was present but felt no need to apologise and I suspect the companies approach of ‘it’s completely out of our control means incidents like this will probably be repeated in the future.
Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge
We were both a little anxious at the start but after reaching the second mountain summit before 11 am, you get an incredible boost and the challenge feels achievable. Our guide James was patient and encouraging. There was some shuffling about between groups as people’s different abilities and speeds become evident, but the aim is always to get you to the end in the 12 hours. Most stops are brief, but allow time to refuel!
Amazing sense of achievement once completed and having someone navigate and keep an eye on your safety is very reassuring. Follow the guidance you’re given re equipment and training and you’ll do it! We raised >£1500 for our chosen charity too.
Thank you for the support and experience we both had a great day. Kate & Jo

We wanted to feedback and provide a quick debrief and some details surrounding 3 Peaks Challenge experience today.
We were so looking forward to this challenge and experiencing Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent & Whernside mountains and we had arranged and booked many months ahead.
To be brutally honest we were very disappointed with the organisation at the start of the exercise and the attitude of the staff/guides managing the challenge.
When we arrived there was no briefing or introduction, we were promptly allocated into teams with no discussion or details surrounding the team allocation and abilities.
We were promptly allocated into team 1. and the guide was named Martin, who was not very approachable and his focus seemed to be to complete the challenge as quickly as possible, with no total disregard for the team he was leading. We promptly departed at 05:36 and the planned time to depart was 06:00, which is fine, best to make an early start, since it was a lovely morning.
In preparation for the route and planned times that we should arrive at key locations, I had added the itinerary details to my calendar to help regulate our pace. These were the times details in the route itinerary.
We strongly feel we have been miss-sold an experience. We were expecting a long and challenging walk, which would last for 12-13 hours, guided by the staff/guides, but instead the staff/guides seemed to be focused on completing the walk in 10-11 hours, and they didn’t want slower paced walker slowing the group down.
For example, we summited Ingleborough at 7am and the itinerary stated 8am, so we were making a fast pace and ahead of schedule. Also the air temperature was already 18oC at this time, we were informed that we need to drink on the go and we needed to keep a quick pace, there was no time to enjoy the lovely environment and definitely no time to take any photo momentous.
When we arrived at Horton-in-Ribblesdale, we mentioned to Guide/Anna that we did not want to hold or delay the group and me and my partner had made the sad decision to retire from the event, not because we could not complete the challenge, but because the walking pace was not what we had expected or signed up for.
Another lady also retired at Horton and mentioned that she was also disappointed with the walking pace, so much so that when she mentioned to the guide that she needed to stop for a few minutes to apply a Compeed plaster to a developing blister, she was discouraged from doing so, because she would delay the group, which is totally unacceptable and reckless.
We were informed that there was more that 70 people being guided, during this walk and the guides had been informed to maintain a strong pace. There did not seem to be sufficient staff/guides to support this number of teams…
We were so much looking forward to this adventure and we’re disappointed that we were made to feel that we were inadequate and lacking in fitness, but the staff/guides were maintaining and faster pace than the planned itinerary we strongly feel that the event was miss-sold and our enjoyment was lost, there was no empathy or motivation provided by the staff/guides, on the contrary they made us feel inadequate.
Unfortunately we cannot provide positive feedback or online reviews, following our experience on the day. We only think it is fare that we provide true feedback, since we would not like other people to experience the same disappointment as we have. Safety should be the number one priority.
Definitely DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
3P challange
as a challenge was ok, but as organisation not very, the group was far to big (+30) with only 2 busses and had to wait for the whole group to finish each summit to get on the rod again.
Didn't reach Ben Nevis summit due to snow, no issues if spikes were on the mandatory kid, but wasn't so no go, even that we had to walk (and was dangerous without spike, we had a person who fell on snow) to reach "the alternative summit" to tick the box. Challenge completed in 26h30min but got the certificate for 22h 24min... lol.
Not on my recommended list to chose for those kind of challanges.

This company isn’t safe, responsible or apologetic for its faults.
I emailed a serious complaint about our Three Peaks Challenge in June 25 and didn’t even get the dignity of a response!
I would still like my money back!
There are too many issues to mention but the most dangerous being that a group of 5 of us were left by our guide Shaun to try and summit Snowdon ourselves as he had to go back to the bus to sleep!!
We were considered the ‘slow group’ and less able due to various conditions, if anything we should have been the group with the most help but were left with nobody! It’s ridiculous seeing as this is what we paid for!
We were by no means unfit or unprepared and were told get to the top or turn back if one of you decides you can’t go on as you can’t leave each other alone!
We were told the weather would be fine and then sure enough half way up, it wasn’t, I’m talking mist, horizontal rain and wind. We were completely disoriented and had no way of knowing if the weather would turn again or if it would get worse. We didn’t know how long we had left to summit and due the to the weather we had no phone reception (despite Shaun giving us a mobile number and saying call if you get stuck). We saw other hikers who had turned back because of the weather and decided we didn’t have a choice as it was no longer safe and had to turn back!
When we eventually got back to the mini bus, drenched and practically in tears there was nobody to greet us and to top it off we got told off for waking up the drivers!
We explained and were clearly upset and all we got was passive aggressive comments ‘well you’re fine aren’t you’ ‘you could have phoned’
There is no support or encouragement and after a great deal of training, money spent on equipment and the trip cost, I feel so throughly let down! It honestly still makes me angry, 9 months later!
Besides the money wasted I think this company is dangerous and it’s a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt, we are so lucky we didn’t!
Please use a company that will care and support/ encourage you as it’s no mean feat. I can do anything with a bit of encouragement and was gutted not to get that support!
I would really appreciate anyone in the company reading this to reply to my email from last year and give the refund I should be entitled too!
Would not do again
Similar to other negative reviews the upside of a guide and support really did not cover downsides.
1. Crammed into a tiny van with no space, whilst the guide took multiple seats to spread out and relax. I did not get any rest at all in the uncomfortable van. This was really brutal and the worst part of the trip.
2. There was provision of hot water/snack only once after the first climb. No food/water/anything after that.
3. I did not enjoy the driving, it was aggressive and erratic.
4. The vans are hired with a specific return time. Traffic/road closures meant many extra hours spent on the road, so even though walkers had plenty of time (within the rules) to finish they forced many to turn back on last peak because they had to get the vans back.
Perhaps I misunderstood this as a premium way of doing the Three Peaks - the pricing made it feel like I might expect that - but it is very far from premium and the transport/vans alone are good enough reason not to do it.
