The drive from Warrington and back was comfortable and reliable. Our guide, Sam was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, and constantly provided good advice and lots of information.

Whilst completing the challenge in 24 hours is very difficult, it is was still a fantastic experience.

Overall, a thoroughly enjoying weekend / expedition

I recently completed the National Three Peaks Challenge. Overall I was extremely pleased with the experience. The communication was great, the guide and drivers were excellent and there was nothing to fault on the entire experience. The reason I’m not given top marks are for the following reasons: I was disappointed in the drop out from our group. I think it needs to be more specifically pointed out that this is a race against time and unless ready for it - don’t join. I also would recommend a more clear communication about food stops both on the night before (potentially book a place) and on the road between mountains, so people would know there are food/service station stops. Finally I would recommend having two guides on the trip, as it was a little concerning with people lacking behind and eventually having to send them down a mountain on their own or if our single guide should fall ill.

Too much to write , it was all excellent. Guides looked after us and kept us safe .

Just completed the 3 peak challenge in 24 hrs with my two sons and a friend, the whole trip was 5* Jon was our guide very professional and made our experience fantastic, tougher than we thought but brilliant memories made, highly recommend this company 👌

Review for: National 3 Peaks 24-Hour Challenge - With Accommodation

Overall, this was a good experience, but there were a couple of issues that prevented it from being a great one.

The guides were excellent throughout the trip. Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly passionate about what they do. The accommodation and minibus transfers were comfortable and well organised.

However, I was disappointed to discover that the challenge marketed on the Call to Adventure website as a "24-hour challenge" actually includes a mandatory 45-minute driver break during the transfer between Fort William and Wasdale Head. We only received this information days before the trip, with guidance suggesting groups often deduct the break from their official challenge time because it effectively makes the challenge 25 hours. While I completely understand and support the legal requirement for driver rest breaks, I feel this should be made clear upfront as part of the advertised challenge duration.

The other issue was the wide variation in fitness levels within the group. There didn't appear to be any fitness screening or assessment before the trip, which resulted in a significant mismatch of abilities and affected the overall pace and experience for our group. It became clear on Ben Nevis that the group were off the pace and wouldn't recover the time.

Despite these frustrations, the quality of the guides, accommodation, and transport was very good. With clearer marketing around the challenge timing and better management of participant fitness levels, this could easily be a 5-star experience.

Thoroughly enjoyable trip. Tougher than expected but was up for the challenge (crampons required). Accommodation was great and the guide (Omar) was spot on. Knowledgeable and friendly plus he got us to the top (and down).

Chris was absolutely brilliant and I genuinely couldn’t have got through the challenge without him. He was motivational, funny, and made the whole experience so much better. His knowledge and understanding of the mountains was amazing and really reassuring throughout. Thank you again, Chris — you really made the experience!

WONDERFUL HIKING IN ATLAS MOUNTAINS
Hiking for 3 days in Atlas Mountains & 2 days in Marrakesh with a group of 9 persons all at differing levels of hiking experiences, all booked through Call to Adventure with George and the gang. The team at call to adventure were very prompt with answering any questions & replying with correspondence, which left the group always reassured, I would not hesitate to book with George & the gang in the near future, thank you to all at the office.
Our two guides Mohammed & Omar were exceptional at what they do they are very knowledgeable, considerate & informative, Mohammed met us at our riad in Imlil the day before our hike, he gave the group a breakdown of the itinerary explaining each part of the hike, were we have rest stops & food stops whilst keeping the group reassured at all times.
The next morning, we set off with the guides Mohammed & Omar again along the way we stopped & the lads explained all about the different villages we passed & all the different flora & fauna of the area. The lads set a good pace with the group whilst encouraging the group to push through when times got a bit tuff, I cannot speak highly enough of Mohammed & Omar (lets just say) by the time we got back to Imlil the group felt like we had known Mohammed & Omar for years not 3 days, If you book a trip through CTA and you get Mohammed & Omar you will not be disappointed as they go way beyond what you pay for, also a massive thank you to Karima who organised all our transport & luggage transportation from 1 place to another, Karima was very helpful, funny & just a really lovely person

My trek to Annapurna Base Camp was fantastic from start to finish. All questions were answered beforehand by George, which made me feel well prepared and confident before the trip began. Everything ran smoothly throughout the journey, and the organisation were great. The team was professional, supportive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this trip to others and I am already planning my next!

What a fantastic experience Climbing Toubkal has been, made all the better by the incredible customer service from George and the team at Call to Adventure.
Prior to placing my booking George answered all my questions via a pre booked telephone call so I knew that the Toubkal trip would deliver on my expectations.
Communication regarding transportation,accommodation,equipment required,timing etc were all superb which all went to creating a seamless experience.
The accommodation in Marrakesh and Imlil was amazing and a far higher standard than I had expected,quite incredible.
So on to the experience of climbing Toubkal.Well where do I start.Firstly the scenery is breathtaking from walnut groves,wild flowers meadows and bird song to water falls and snowfields Toubkal has it all.
Our Mountain guide Omar is without doubt central to this incredible experience with his knowledge,professionalism and care shown towards our group of three individuals went way beyond what would normally be expected from a guide. I can’t thank him enough for ensuring that we not only summited Toubkal but had an incredible experience at the same time.
I can’t wait to discover new amazing experiences and memories with Call to Adventure.Thank you from a 55 year old who wishes he’d discovered theses adventures years ago.

I had an excellent trip to Morocco to trek up Mount Toubkal. Everything was flawlessly organised by the Call to Adventure team from a online call after I booked the trip to brief me on the adventure to the excellent communication with the local guide team. My trek guide Omar was excellent, he made sure I was safe on the mountain but also that I enjoyed every step of the hike. I highly recommend this trip and company!

I would highly recommend this company. George and the team were always available to answer any questions leading up to the trip and the actual trip was fantastic, it was personalised experience with a team of individuals from the guides to the porters who were all very approachable and did everything possible to make our experience memorable.

George arranged our trip to Morocco and everything was perfect. He spent the time coming up with great ideas to make this an amazing experience.
Every detail was planned including pick-up , collections, quality of guides and accommodation.
We went trekking in the Atlas mountains, quid bikes, camel riding and hot air ballon’s .

I booked the Mount Toubkal winter trek at very short notice. I loved it from start to finish. Everything went to plan. George arranged everything from collecting and returning me to Marrakech airport. I went directly from the airport to Islmil which was a bonus and allowed me a free day in the lovely peaceful Berber prior to the trek commencing. All the accomodation was booked and organised and all food was included. It was a stress free trip, I just had to turn up. Special thanks to my guide Mohamed who ensured I got to the summit and back safely and made sure I had lovely and substantial meals throughout. I am over 60years old and it was his patience and support and local knowledge that made the trek outstanding. I would also like to mention Karima the local rep who met me on arrival, nothing was too much trouble. Everything went to plan and it was a stress free trip for me as a solo older woman. I will be booking with Call to Adventure again and would recommend this company without hesitation.

As my first solo trip and high altitude peak I was a little apprehensive but everything was perfect from leaving the airport to getting back

Booked a trip to climb MountToubkal. Through call to adventure. Got a phone call to to inform us about the trip. Everything was planned perfectly They picked us up at the airport & took us back after our trip. Plus accommodation for the whole trip The guide was excellent & took care of me being the eldest in our group and the cook that went ahead & made authentic Moroccan food which was delicious and the Riad they had booked after our hike was a great reward after the hike.When I decide on my next adventure, will look at their trips first. Fantastic experience. Everything was well organised, leaving us to concentrate on the challenge itself. Our guide Lehcan was such a freindly, jolly chap and he really looked after us. Karima was lovely too, and made us feel so welcome. It was a memorable experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you to all who played a part in such a great time.

Myself and 39 colleagues from work completed the National Three Peaks Challenge under their guidance. It was well organised and as there were so many of us we were divided into groups of 10 of similar ability.
Our guide Susie was amazing. She really understood the varying abilities of all the group and made sure the pace was one everyone was comfortable with. When members of my group were flagging a bit she was right there beside them at the back ensuring they were well looked after, while more experienced hikers like myself could range a little further ahead. She knew every peak really well and thoroughly described terrain and ascent of each section as we approached so we knew what to expect. Whether under the guidance of the guides or behind driven between each park we all felt in safe hands. I hope to be undertaking more adventures with them.
