Issues from start to finish, billing was inconsistent and resulted in stacked bills in certain months. 6 months after our tenancy we receive a back bill of £600+ with inflated estimates. When asked to provide evidence for these estimates they could not. So after months of, complaints procedures and pressure via the supplier and the Energy Ombudsman it is resolved.

Particularly difficult customer service as it is hard to get through to someone and I was ignored over email and not sent supposed updates in a timely manner. I was also under false assurance that my payment details were removed in the midst of the complaint and instead we had emails referring to a debt agency the back bill was attempted without complaint resolution.

I had some queries about my final payment and Nathan was quick to help. They were extremely helpful and friendly! Thank you.

Their customer services’ responses were swift, direct, and addressed all my concerns. I spoke to Nathan and he was really helpful.

Process seemed quite simple and our contact NATHAN was straight forward with what he wanted us to do and it went all very smoothly

Do not use the one time payment links they send you! I sent my month's bills this way and they claimed they never got it, then closed the support ticket after I sent evidence that it was sent and have been ignoring emails while still insiting it needs to be sent. Avoid this company.

Nathan is very customer-oriented person and is helpful too.

Nathan from Customer support has been of great help. I had some credit left in my account, and it only took 5 minutes and 2 emails to request a refund. Usually with some companies, you have to go through a lenghty process, but with Nathan's help, it was very easy.

I have since moving into the rental done a lot of my correspondence through Nathan.

DO NOT trust these reviews they must have paid for bots since their reviews were so low a year ago. Us students had the worst experience with the student energy group. They pass you from person to person never sorting out issues then forget what your problem was to begin with. We spent hours on hold and months sorting out issues leaving us without Wi-Fi for extended periods of time. They also took us off by error which made us owe money to another company. Overall terrible service and a huge drain of time. They also claim to save you money on all inclusive bills however it was more expensive than if we were not to use them. This is the first bad review I’ve ever left for somewhere. Me and other people I know who have been with the student energy group highly recommend staying clear.

Really quick responses to concerns, and very friendly and supportive service. As a student, and it being our first time sorting out bills, they made sorting it all out very easy and stress free. I really recommend them!!

Great experience for a student whos never interacted with an energy company before. Samuel and Nathan were both extremley helpful across the entire year and all issues were usually resolved within a couple of days if not the same day. I reccomend using the student energy group!

Nathan is the best thing to ever happen to this company!

My step daughter has been with tseg for a few years now and had nothing but problems to start with, if I am honest I was going to pay for the cancellation fees and move her to another provider.

Then I receive a call from Nathan who instantly apologised for the poor experience I had received and promised to provide nothing but (in his words) exceptional customer service going forward, AND BOY DID HE DO THAT AND MORE!

He has kept us up to date with any changes or information needed and is always at hand no matter what the request to help. He contacts my step daughter every month to take her meter readings (I don’t know ANYWHERE ELSE who provides this level of service) to make sure she’s only being billed for what she is using.

His patience and desire to go above and beyond needs to be recognised if it hasn’t already… if it has then your company are extremely lucky to have someone like him!

Nothing is ever too much trouble and he always takes the time to listen and puts things into action straight away. He’s always taken the time to explain in detail anything my step daughter struggles to understand and always follows up with a email to confirm what’s been discussed so I can also be kept up to date.

I cannot thank Nathan enough for not only keeping his word but also restoring my faith. You really are a wonderful man and I hope your manager sees this too!
