Ariat warranty not upheld - returned a pair of Ariats because they were leaking (in damp grass - let alone rain!) Sport Lodge have taken from 6th May - 23rd May to test them and advise me that they don't, in fact leak. Not really clear why they think I'd have bothered sending them back but there it is. Trading standards next, especially since there are 15, 1 star reviews on the Ariat website itself, showing failed boots with the same damage from upper to sole, as the ones I returned.

Bought a bag for a trip to Colombia but found something more suitable prior to travel, I tried to return the item but they do not do refunds. While I have no issue with the Fjallraven item I do caution other shoppers - in in doubt, steer clear. There are other stores that will allow refunds if you have changed your mind or don't need the item. In future, I'll use one of the other outdoor stores in Manchester.

For the return they ask you to pay the Royal Mail return postage fee (4.95GBP); however, I am disappointed that the website does not clearly state that I would be responsible for covering this cost. Had this information been made clear, I would have reconsidered purchasing the cap online.

Great customer service for my purchase of a backpack. I needed to make warranty claim with Fjallraven many months after the original purchase, and Sporting Lodge were attentive, helpful and responsive in getting the bag repaired. Thank you.

The app does not work to do a return. I have tried and work colleagues have tried.

Excellent experience. I live out of country and always worry about the quality when ordering clothing online. The RRL shirt was exactly as shown and arrived very quickly. Also sent a note about an out-of-stock product. I received a fast response stating that they would check availability. Great customer service and over all experience. Definitely going to make more purchases at The Sporting Lodge in the future!

Ordered two Ralph Lauren sleepwear items which arrived quite promptly, but upon opening the outer plastic bag I could immediately see that the two inner bags containing the clothing had already been ripped open and the items had obviously been carelessly replaced inside them! There is no doubt whatsoever that these items were returned goods, but the tags were still intact. Had the items been advertised as returned goods I would never have purchased them from this company - there was no mention of this on their website! If you try on clothes in a retail shop of course there is a good chance of other people having tried them on before you, but when buying 'new' goods on-line, you surely would expect them to still be in their original unopened packaging! It was only after I complained that I received a insipid reply which stated - "but as we are a retailer there is every chance the item has been purchased and tried on previously". I have purchased numerous clothes recently direct from Ralph Lauren and not once have I been sent blatantly opened returned goods! Lesson learnt.

Changed up to a 4* as customer service responded and honoured the original sale price price as items were already in my basket before they fully came out the sale

Really impressed with the Sporting Lodge, I ordered two pairs of wellingtons as a Christmas present for my father (being unsure of sizing) when I contacted them to organise returning they were outside of the usual returns period, Amy at the sporting lodge was fantastic and organised my return and refund and I would 100% order again.

Sent me the wrong item. The picture was incorrect. Tried to make me keep the product I didn't want or order so they didn't have to deal with it. Stopped all communicaton with me after this. I've ended up having to go through their returns policy and waste my valuable time fixing their problem. I ended up finding the product cheaper elsewhere and got a better service. Why use them when there are much better and cheaper companies elsewhere.

I bought a fjallraven jacket for my daughter in 2019, it was posted un-signed for and was stolen by the sub contracted postman who wasn’t a full time employee of Royal Mail. When I contacted this company and asked why it wasn’t posted signed for I was indirectly accused of lying by the manager with a horrible attitude. I was basically told that it was my problem and not theirs, I was down £150.00 and my daughter didn’t get her winter coat. The woman I spoke to was an absolute disgrace. Give this company a wide berth. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

They refused my return, they said they'd return the item back to me. When I've asked for this they're now not replying. Order 40049181

No response from customer service.
