You really helped me for my literature and my language

My son found the resources and sessions excellent for GCSE English, and he found how the questions were to be approached really useful, he went from 3 in english lit and lang in March to a 5 in lit and 4 in lang in the actual exams.

I started using light-up before my year eleven mocks and I'm so happy I did! I jumped from a grade 6 in language and stuck at grade 8 in literature to nines in both on results day! The lessons are so helpful and the technique for language was a lifesaver. I would highly recommend this, its was a lifesaver!

I joined the Lightup Hub one week before GCSEs started with a grade 6 in English language and 8 in Literature and finished my GCSEs with results of a 9 in literature and 8 in english language. The lightup hubs tips really helped me with my analysis skills which set me apart from the rest and helped me beat this years high grade boundaries. The website has a really easy format to work with and structure which guides you to forming the perfect exam responses.

This website is amazing, I truly mean it. Although I dint get a nine I got more than what I wanted and I am happy with my results which is all that matters.I bought this in the last month leading to GCSE's and it was worth every penny. I am so glad with my grades and couldn't have done it without the last minute revision, it truly has all you need.

The light up hub has some amazing tips and tricks that could easily increase your grade. The analysis is beyond incredible and the vocabulary used is perfect to secure those high grades

It is an exceptionally excellent educational tool that genuinely delivers on its promises. I never thought l will get grade 9 but after utilising this app it helped me securing grade 9. So, l am really thankful to the app which significantly helped me providing with fantastic revision resources.

I moved to England last September, and things were really hard as an in-year student, completely new to this education system, and aiming for grade 9s since the very first day, one day I was doomscrolling on my Instagram when I viewed the profile of this wonderful mentor, and after that, I got to know about many new things, basically those lil steps and a road to grade 9. If I get access to that amazing knowledge on this website, trust me, I'll work really hard and try my best ( still unsure if I'm gonna give my final gcse at the school that im in right now cause me and my family may move to some other city, dad needs some health treatment ... & probably this will make my chosen subjects and routine out of track), but i'll be starting YEAR 11 this september and i absolutely wanna nail it, in any chronic situation or anything!! For Year 10 mocks, my very first exams after months of not studying, I got 999s in separate higher sciences, 4&5 in English, and above grades for the other subjects. BUT FOR ENGLISH, IT'S A BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING GUIDANCE; I THINK I WON'T BE ABLE TO ADD " WITCHES SPEAK IN TROCHAIC TETRAMETER " IN MY ESSAY WITHOUT YOUR VIDEOS !!!!

I am so grateful for finding Lightup hub before my GCSE's. it literally saved my grades. At the start of year 11 I was at 3 for english language and 4 for english literature. But in the real exam i got a 6 for english language and 7 for english literature.

I joined The Light Up Hub in April and managed to go up a grade in both Lang and Lit. I found the resources to be incredibly helpful, especially for summarising poems concisely. I'm very grateful and will definitely recommend The Light Up Hub to anyone in Years 10 and 11! Thank you Aaliyah and team! xx

My daughter was predicted a low 6 from her school for English Lit and got a grade 9 in her GCSE. She cannot believe it and nor can we. In paper 1 she got 63/64. Thank you so much 💓

i started off at a 4 during my mocks for english literature and english language and then after a few months worked my way up to a 6, only a few marks off a 7 with the help of lightuphub!! They have amazing analysis and break downs of each quote and how to approach the questions.

This app is great. It is really well put together with quotes, analysis and ideas organised superbly, making watching, studying and navigating the app overall really easy. The analysis of quotes are really in detail with key terminology embedded into them, allowing my analysis in exams to be high grade level. Also the structure is what really helped me. When I started I had no clue how to write and structure my paragraphs but the clear ways taught to organise each question made me a lot more confident, moving me up 2 grades in lit and lang in only a few months, definitely recommending this for my younger brother for his exams. 5 stars.

I absolutely loved the Lightup hub, I wish I’d got it sooner!!
The live lessons were extremely helpful and after having listened to nearly every lesson I found them absolutely amazing!!
I have recommended this website to nearly everyone I know!

Thank you so much to Aliyaah for being an amazing teacher!!!!! You helped so much!

great in helping me achieve well in my gcses, good resource bank for anyone struggling in english, for both language and literature

When I first joined the light up hub I was achieving a grade 3/4 in my mocks and thanks to the light up hub I managed to get a grade 7 in my actual English literature GCSE. The last minute revision section on the website was extremely helpful as well as the example essays and the quote analysis. I couldn’t recommend this enough it truly saved my English literature grades!

The lightuphub honestly saved me and my grades, I only ever was able to get a 5 in english literature (even in february) but then i started using the lightuphub in March and i ended up getting an 8 in English literature with 62/64 in paper 1! Honestly it is so so worth it and helpful and it genuinely made the biggest difference (in such a short amount of time) and helped me achieve the grades i dreamed of for english!
