Awful. No reply to online requests for viewing in Folkestone. Phone goes to an automated bot who doesn’t understand what is being said and likes to his hang up. I have tried five different avenues to get a viewing of a property but no one gets back to me. Who would anyone use this company? I don’t understand

We had a great service from Michelle both selling our property and purchasing our new one! The communication from her was outstanding from start to finish even on weekends and evenings. We were kept informed at every stage, and any questions we had were answered promptly and clearly. Her professionalism and proactive approach made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

We invited Michelle to value our house and was very happy and comfortable with her valuation and advice on how to market the house to get the quick sale we were looking for.
From beginning to end Michelle worked hard setting up viewings to offering recommendations of services that we needed for the move.

We did encounter quite a few bumps in the road for such a short chain, but Michelle worked very hard helping keep things on track.

Some more information on the house purchase mentioned by Michelle Horne. I was left £400 out of pocket because I was assured by Michelle at the Good Estate Agent that the seller was keen to move forward quickly and if necessary was prepared to move out early to assist us in our chain free purchase. Searches carried out, money wasted. I had to contact Michelle at all times, she never offered information unless asked. If Michelle has a long history of 5 star reviews I'm frankly amazed. She was extremely poor in dealing with me. I can't blame her for the seller pulling out but her communication skills are severely lacking. I was promised updates, I didn't get them. I only got updates when I chased her for them. I have copied her last email directly.

If that's satisfactory customer service in your opinion then good luck. For me, it's utterly unacceptable.
Your response does not address the issues we have raised. It merely ignores the points we have raised, namely poor communication from your agent Michelle and the associated poor customer service. Your response merely confirms our concerns. I'd advise any prospective purchaser to tread carefully when using the services of a company like this.

Michelle was a great help from start to finish. Unfortunately the chain broke down but she was there with advice and got me back on the market and another sale secured. Was always available to answer questions and liaise with the solicitor

Mark Collis was amazing from start to finish, we would highly recommend! Our flat was on the market with Romans from August 2024 to around Jan 2025 and we’re left disappointed by the service. We were recommended The good estate agent and found Mark. Mark was amazing quality vetted viewings over quantity also Mark did his best to group viewing together to avoid lots of disruption which was welcome as we had a toddler to work around. Mark always ensured we had feedback and within a couple of months with Mark we had our asking price offered! Mark was there every step of the way and went above and beyond in terms of being available and chasing solicitors up and moving things along. We were not charged a ridiculous fee, it was reasonable and relative to the property asking price. A very genuine man who really did his absolute best. It felt a very personal service. Now in our new home and although we don’t wish to move again for a VERY long time we highly recommend Mark Collis to anyone thinking of moving and wanting quality viewings and honest personal service!

Mark from the Sunbury branch handled both our purchase and our sale with nothing but professionalism, thought and care. Michelle was a great support from start to finish. It was a hard task selling my family home and she took on board all aspects of the sale and my family needs as we went along. It sold within 3 weeks. She also kept me updated on all aspects of the sale and made sure everything went smoothly with the property I was purchasing offering great communications with another estate agent, solicitors, surveyor etc. I couldn't be more greatful as we settle into our new family home. :)

Have worked with Michael at the Loughton branch a few times now. Really happy with the service. He is very good at delivering bad news, similarly he is very natural at listening to bad news. This time around my move coincided with a pretty bad personal issue at my end, but Michael was sympathetic throughout. Would happily use again, but I might swerve moving for a bit. Highly recommended.

We had a very good relationship with Shelly & Mark at The Good Estate Agent Sunbury on Thames , they always kept us in the loop with our house sale. We found them approachable and honest, Shelly kept us updated with changes within our chain, she always acted with integrity and honesty. Unlike most estate agents they have integrity & no hard sell attitude. They made what is normally a very stressful experience much easier. We would definitely recommend.
