From start to finish my experience at the D'Souza Clinic has been enjoyable and helped achieve my desired results. An initial consultation offered a number of options for treatment and setting up the appointments and payments was nice and easy. My experience was excellent. I'm a week into my recovery after having an FUE transplant with Christopher D'Souza and I couldn't be happier with the results. After researching the best option for this procedure I found the D'Souza Clinic repeatedly at the top of the list and it's no surprise why. Throughout the process I dealt directly with Christopher who was able to give me a really informative and realistic idea of what to expect over a number of email exchanges and consultations. There were never any pushy sales tactics or enticing testimonies and I really appreciated how honestly he was able to walk me through my options. I can't begin to explain how many other key considerations he brought to my attention that I think other 'budget' clinics would skip over. The attention to detail in his approach has been astounding, with the focus being on achieving a personally tailored long term solution that will age seamlessly and look natural both at the donor and transplanted sites.

Having never undergone any surgery or operations before I was a little nervous stepping into the clinic last week and being under local anaesthetic just added to my apprehension. However, the day ended up being so relaxing that I might as well have been at the spa! I actually ended up falling asleep on the chair whilst Christopher and his team of assistants worked.

If youre serious about getting the best result possible then I strongly recommend you look no further.

If anyone thinking seriously about having this procedure then I would say look no further. Dr D Souza and his team are remarkable from the initial telephone call with Emily making the appointment for me to visit the clinic and speaking to Dr D Souza himself to my end result. I did visit a couple of other clinics and the experience you just couldn't compare. It seems that some of these clinics have sales people that just want to get you in the door to have the procedure. On making an appointment to see the sales person and the surgeon I travelled a good distance to find that I was sitting in front of two sales consultants and no surgeon. It was me chasing to speak to someone who was going to do my hair transplant and when I did there was conflicting information. I pulled out not really bothered about my deposit. So,save yourself the bother,pick up the phone and make the appointment........unbelievable.

This was a good experience , its never easy having any type of surgery , and I didn’t know what to expect.
From the word go in our initial meeting I felt reassured and relaxed. Come the day of the operation Dr Souza and his team were so professional , we were chatting away whilst the operation was on going , lovely people and I couldn’t recommend them enough. In comparison to some of my friends who had the op but with different companies, Dr Souza and his team have done a great job!!

It’s been 6 days since the op and I have to say that Chris and his entire team were superb.

From putting me at ease, to being very clear about the day and process, to listening to any concerns during the day.
Plus with snacks aplenty, Netflix at hand and a Leon lunch, I felt very well cared for.

The post-op pack and instructions are very clear and the team are at the end of the phone with any questions or concerns.

I knew from my first meeting with Chris that he was the surgeon for me. No pushing or selling, and put me at ease straight away.

Superb experience from start to finish.
Dr D'Souza and his excellent team of doctors and nurses ensured the lengthy procedure went without hitch.
The day itself is pretty arduous - starting at 9am and not finishing until 4.30pm. Pain management was good, and it was possible to watch TV / listen to audiobooks while it was going on.
Had an Itsu via Deliveroo for lunch which was a nice break. Aftercare instructions and pack super clear
Looking forward to seeing the results (it takes up to 18 months for full regrowth, with first regrowth at 3 months)

I can’t fault the experience one bit. Mr D’Souza and his team were fantastic. I was made to feel very comfortable all day and was provided all the information, items and support needed for my recovery.
It’s a big step to have an FUE procedure and I am very glad I went with The D’Souza Clinic over others. From enquiry, to consultation, procedure and post care I felt confident and assured in Mr D’Souza’s ability, knowledge and his genuine care for me as a patient.

After recently having FUE treatment at the D'Souza Clinic I am so grateful to Chris and his high level team, all where very accommodating made me feel really at ease and the whole day went so much better than I could of thought. I am currently on day 4 of recovery and I am already so happy with my new hairline. Having had a transplant recently with Chris D'Souza I write this review for anyone else out there struggling with making a similar decision or looking for authentic research. In short however the best advice I can give is go and speak to him about the procedure and your concerns, its free, relaxed and totally reassuring; you will be pleased you have found him.
In more detail... Having been increasingly annoyed by my receding and thinning hair for years I had often thought of having a hair transplant...but as an ordinary and busy father/husband had never progressed much further. This year I began to research the process and options more seriously. There are many clinics out there now, in the UK and abroad and I did my research thoroughly beforehand. For me the key to my choice was finding a clinic and doctor with the highest integrity, professional standards and quality of care. I spoke to several clinics across the range, they all offer a similar patter...however what you really want is to be able to speak to the surgeon who will perform the operation, rather than a sales person, or "technician" and to receive an honest, qualified, no pressure assessment of your suitability and likely results.
For this I strongly recommend Dr D'Souza, he is a highly qualified doctor who specialises in this procedure. You speak to him directly, twice in my case, for a free proper consultation, not a sales pitch. He performs all the surgery on the day with his highly competent and professional team’ for which you are the only patient. There is nothing lacking, rushed or pressured about any part of the process. I was a bit anxious, however I left the practice feeling very positive, have had no complications and so am keen to share my finding here. The above is an honest, objective assessment for those people, like me, who value factual reviews...as an aside though it is important to note Chris D'Souza and his team are a warm and friendly lot, keen for you to be well looked after, respected and comfortable...I almost asked him if he fancied a pint afterwards!! Finally - with regard to cost and value, you will be able to find it cheaper...but not by much and the value will NOT be as high.

Like many people I was incredibly apprehensive about having a hair transplant.
I had even booked in last summer, but cancelled due to personal reasons.
Chris was entirely sympathetic and understanding. He just said please get in touch when you feel comfortable.
I feel absolutely great about having had the procedure. For results I’ll obviously have to wait and see.
I cannot recommend Chris and his team more. They made me feel relaxed, and confident in their ability and professionalism.
The day was actually very easy and calm thanks to how Chris works.
I feel very fortunate to have chosen to use Chris and the team.
I wouldn’t hesitate In recommending them if one was thinking of having a transplant.

An excellent service all round from Dr D’Souza, his medical team and back room staff. The first consultation was assuring & informed, the follow up was efficient & the day of surgery very professionally managed. He and his team were very friendly & supportive throughout the whole procedure, looking after me & answering all my questions.....even allowing me to watch Alan Partridge re-runs one after the other. A first class service.

Chris & his team have been fantastic from my first consultation onwards. I'm now a week post-op and everything has gone smoothly in terms of the FUE procedure itself and the resulting aftercare. The day of the procedure was (surprisingly) painless - everything was organised to perfection and the team were all friendly & informative. Chris has been available for follow-up questions which has been invaluable to put my mind at rest. I'm increadibly pleased with every aspect so far and really looking forward to see the results. A+ service

After thoroughly researching hair transplantation and contacting different clinics, I decided to go to the D'Souza clinic.

When researching I was struck by how many clinics on Harley Street / elsewhere offered:

-"big discounts" (never trust a surgeon, dentist or tailor who offers you a discount!)
-initial video assessments before surgery (no hands on examination!)
-non-expert opinion (surgeons / doctors who do this procedure on the side)

All of the above were red flags to me.

Pricing wise - this clinic was upper mid-range.

Experience - I had a thorough examination and assessment several weeks before the procedure and was advised accordingly.

The day of my transplant flew by without any problems. Aftercare has also been excellent.

The D'Souza clinic passes the "friends and family test" and I can therefore confidently recommend to others.

After 8 or so years of gradually seeing the hair on the top of my head getting thinner and thinner, I decided to explore the option of getting a hair transplant. I went for an initial consultation with Chris D'Souza back in November and we talked about the hair loss I had experienced and what solutions would be best for me including medications and surgery. He examined the area of hair loss and made his recommendations accordingly. After the consultation I had enough information to decide to go ahead with the surgery and also begin taking the recommended medication. An appointment for the surgery was set about 10 weeks later. I was a bit nervous on the day to begin with but Chris and his team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The all worked very hard throughout the day and I was highly confident that they had the knowledge and expertise to produce the best possible results. At the end of the surgery when they showed me my newly transplanted hair in the mirrors, I was really stunned at how good it looked (initial redness accepted) and the coverage they had achieved. Then they bandaged me up and within half an hour I was back in the comfort of my own home (no hotels or airports to worry about). I'm now 6 days post surgery and recovery has gone much better than expected. I'm feeling really good about the whole process and looking forward to eventually seeing the final results. Would definitely recommend the D'Souza clinic to anyone wanting to get a hair transplant

2nd operation (1st operation with another clinic) and the difference was night and day. Dr D'Souza was there throughout from consultation, ongoing dialogue before and after op, doing the operation himself. He made the whole thing seemless. Can't emphasize the quality of the experience from start to finish. Am writing this 2 weeks post-op and while I don't know what the results will be in 6 months/12 months etc I am very confident the new grafts have been given best chance thanks to D'Souza clinic. Noteworthy that there is no hard sell. Despite me wanting to be more aggressive with approach, I was discouraged from certain things. Something that was in contrast to other consultations I have had with other clinics. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great experience with D'Souza Clinic

I'm one week post procedure and my experience with Dr D'Souza and his team has been absolutely first class. I did have some anxiety about going ahead with the procedure, but I was reassured by the professional and caring approach of the whole team. Pretreatment work up is thorough, care on the day really excellent, and the post treatment follow up too has been very good. I can really recommend Dr D'Souza for anybody contemplating this procedure. Kind of wish I had done it years ago.

I can not recommend Chris highly enough. From the initial consultation he put me at ease. He explained every detail and asked all my questions. What impressed me the most was that I wanted both my hairline and crown done but Chris advised against it. He said I should try medication first, as there was hair there but just thinning. I thought it was great that he had my best interests at heart rather than what would earn him the most amount of money.

I actually quite enjoyed the procedure! It wasn’t painful in the slightest. Probably the worst part was having the anaesthetic injections at the beginning. After that it was absolutely fine. I literally spent all sat watching the Man City documentary on Amazon Prime. I’m pretty sure I had a snooze at one point as well!

The aftercare pack and instructions were all explained and I didn’t have any problems with my recovery at all.

I’ve just had my 6 month review and can’t believe how great my hair line looks now (and i still won’t see the full effects for another 6-12 months)

Honestly one of the best things I have ever done and can not recommend Chris highly enough. Absolutely brilliant.

I am writing this 7 months after my procedure.

I could not fault Chris and the rest of the D'Souza Clinic's service. Having had a number of consultations with other, larger hair transplant providers, I wasn't filled with confidence and felt like I was being sold a product not a procedure, with no sincerity from those I spoke to (none of which were the surgeons themselves). I thought I would try one more provider, and found The D'Souza Clinic.

I was more comfortable and confident from the outset. I had my initial consultation with Chris, whose strong preference was to meet me in person before the procedure rather than rely on a video consultation only (a very good sign in my view). He is extremely personable, and moreover sincere in his approach which was refreshing. The procedure was explained in lots of detail, and I was given ample opportunity to ask questions. I had no doubt that I would go with the D'Souza clinic from then.

The procedure itself was - quite surprisingly - a really enjoyable exprerience. I arrived in the morning on the day, was given a full briefing as to how the procedure would be run and again an opportunity to ask questions. The procedure then got underway, and consisted mainly of me sitting watching Netflix all day, or listening to a podcast. Chris's staff were also so friendly and put me at ease straight away. Lunch was provided, and I was home by 4pm with it all finished (I had around 1550 grafts).

The aftercare was also faultess. A full pack of aftercare products was provided so I didn't need to do anything other than follow the detailed instructions I was given. I had no issues with my recovery, it was pain free and speedy. 7 months later, with only around 50-60% of the results showing, I am already delighted.

I cannot recommend Chris and his team enough, and thank them all.

I write this on day seven after my procedure and I continue to be thoroughly impressed by Dr D’Souza and his team’s work.

I immediately trusted Dr D’Souza at the first consultation, which was a very helpful face-to-face meeting. I was asked important questions about my feelings and expectations for my hair, in addition to the more typical medical questions. I was particularly struck by Dr D’Souza’s comparatively conservative approach to my hair restoration. Whereas others had advised extensive FUE procedures, Dr D’Souza explained the merits of a less interventionist approach when combined with hair loss drugs in my case. He was also more than happy to share photos of other clients’ experiences with him.

As for the day of the procedure, the team were exceedingly considerate and approachable. I felt very at ease and even enjoyed the experience.

Although early days, I am very happy with the outcome so far - my new hairline looks natural and strong. And the care I have received to date has been second to none.
