There's a few clinics on Harley Street which offer a similar service, I went in a few of them for initial consultations and didn't find the staff/doctors to seem as friendly and genuine as the D'souza clinic, which was a very good start. Then when it came to the actual surgery they certainly delivered, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable throughout the entire process and they were very good at explaining what they were doing every stage. I was also kept engaged during the recovery process, the final result looks very promising and just need to wait for the hair to grow in fully over the next 18 months. Big thumbs up.

I have suffered with Traction Alopecia for over 10 years and was convinced that I was beyond help. I have Afro hair which requires a different care routine to European hair so I was unsure a transplant could work for me.

I had approached different consultants before choosing this clinic and I am so glad I made the right decision. Other consultants did not provide the same comprehensive information and it felt like I was being rushed to book the procedure despite still having reservations.

When I visited Dr D’Souza for the initial consultation, he answered every question I had which was incredibly reassuring. I took my partner with me and as soon as we left, we both agreed this was where I was going to get the procedure done.

Following my consultation, additional queries I had were promptly responded to either by Emily or the Doctor directly. During the procedure itself I was really well looked after, a lunch of my choice was provided and a cab arranged once everything was completed. My aftercare package was extremely detailed and I was even provided with a neck cushion which I would not have thought I needed. My recovery went really well and I was able to contact the Doctor directly if I needed anything.

I have just completed my 6-month review and I am over the moon with the results already. When I catch my reflection, I still can’t believe how much progress I have seen. My confidence is growing and I’m starting to feel like my old self again. My only regret is having waited for so long.

If you are contemplating a transplant, this is the place to do it. Dr D’Souza and his team have perfected the procedure and the customer care alongside it.

After visiting the clinic in August 2019 for a consultation, I came back for another consultation in August 2022 and have just had a hair transplant done by Chris and his amazing team.

I can't speak highly enough of Chris, who never put me under any pressure whatsoever when I was deliberating having the procedure. He truly just wants what's best for his patients and is there from the very beginning all the way through to completion and beyond.

The operation itself was a very relaxed day and I was made to feel completely at ease. I was expecting it to be at least slightly stressful but in reality it was anything but.

I would urge anyone thinking of getting a hair transplant to use the D'Souza Clinic - every aspect of the experience has been completely perfect.

After having consultations with various other clinics, The D’Souza Clinic was the only one that stood out to me.

My initial consultation wasn’t with a patient advisor with the surgeon popping in for a few minutes and disappearing again, there was no talk of special offers or discounts, just an honest and frank discussion with the actual surgeon himself. Chris’ approach didn’t feel mass-market; everything really was bespoke and tailored. He even made time on a day he normally wouldn’t do consultations to accommodate my schedule and contacted me personally while his PA was away.

During consultation Chris didn’t try to sell me a dream and managed expectations realistically. We went over what I wanted to achieve and what he could offer me with examples of his work. He was honest and transparent about his prior experience, qualifications and limitations of hair restoration surgery. I quickly realised I wasn’t talking to a salesman, these were all the markings of someone who seriously knew what they were doing with an incredible depth of knowledge and a true leader in the field that wanted to do right by his patients.

In the weeks following the initial consultation it was easy to arrange a follow up appointment through Emily where Chris was more than happy to answer additional questions I had.

The actual day of the procedure went very smoothly, I had read online the initial anaesthetic injections were “incredibly painful” and braced myself for such, however in Chris’ hands it was honestly about a 2/10 in pain, I even remember blurting out “wait was that it?”. Once everything was numb it felt like sitting on a long haul flight, the team made sure I remained comfortable at all times and there was TV to keep me entertained throughout the day. All of the anaesthetic, incisions and excisions were personally done by Chris with the surgical team assisting on graft implantation.

Lunch was provided and I was able order what I wanted to eat, even a taxi home was arranged for me.

I was given an aftercare package to take home with detailed instructions; Chris was personally reachable through text and always responded promptly to questions.

Now 2 weeks on, I haven’t started the shedding phase yet but if the final result looks like it does now, just longer, then it has already exceeded my expectations, so I have no doubt I will be pleased at 6 months.

Finally, I just want to give a huge thank you to Chris and the rest of the team, Alison, Jess, Georgi and Emily for all of your expertise, skill and dedication to patient well-being.

I would absolutely recommend The D’Souza Clinic to anyone considering hair restoration.

I had a hair transplant back in May 2021 but decided to wait one year before leaving a review having had my 12 month post op appointment. I am pleased to say that I could not be more pleased with the results. Overall the process is managed very well by the clinic with the staff very attentive before, during and after surgery.

There is definitely a difference between Chris and more "sales focused" transplant clinics where you don't meet the surgeon beforehand. I have the impression that Chris genuinely cares about his work and the results of his patients and is very focused on achieving the best result. I want to again thank Chris and his team here for the excellent job and they deserve the numerous five star reviews.

I agree with all the previous reviews. Like many others, I liked that Dr D'Souza doesn't use pushy sales people. This clinic is just him and his very capable assistant Emily. I liked that my first consultation was directly with him. I liked that it was free and that he didn't use gimmicks like limited time offers to force my hand. I also found Dr D'Souza to be very friendly and approachable and generally just a very good person. Last but not least, 12 months post op, I'm still very happy with my results.

A couple of notes I haven't seen elsewhere :

1. Dr D'Souza's office, where the consultations take place - and where the surgery also takes place - is EXQUISITE. It's on the 4th or 5th floor of a nice, traditional building on Harley St, with large windows overseeing the whole neighbourhood. The view is open and bright and relaxing. These things matter, especially during the surgery, which can be long. For all those like me who hate hospitals, this is going to be a big big plus.

2. I asked Dr D'Souza about an American diploma on his wall. Basically, it is a diploma for specialists in hair transplants. Apparently, this specialist training isn't offered in the UK, so Dr D'Souza went all the way to the US to get it. Personally, I don't care about these things but maybe some you do. That's why I'm mentioning it.

3. My interactions with Dr D'Souza and his assistant Emily were always smooth. They are very responsive. And even months after the surgery, they kept checking on me, to make sure everything was fine.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Dr D'Souza. Based on my results, I believe he's a very good surgeon. Accessorily, he also strikes as a very good person.

I would like to start by saying that I am a female with a congenitally high hairline, I was looking to lower the hairline creating a more “normal” looking hairline in order to be more balanced with the rest of my features. I have never suffered from hair loss.

From my first video consultation I felt that Dr D’Souza was so thorough and really took the time to listen to all my needs and desired results while also remaining completely unbiased, even going as far as recommending alternative treatment with a surgeon he has no relation to.

As I’m sure anyone considering this procedure will, I did my thorough research and had consultations with a few different clinics in London. I felt immediately that Dr D’Souza’s knowledge and approach really stood out to me. Having experienced no hair loss or thinning, I often felt that other practitioners weren’t quite understanding my requirements.

On the day, I was greeted warmly by all the team and talked through how the day would go and offered snacks, a TV remote and good conversation which all really helped settle any nerves and helped to ease me into the experience.

Healing was absolutely without a single issue. Pain relief and other medications offered really mitigated any swelling which was a huge concern of mine. Dr D’Souza also gave me his personal contact details should I need to get in touch at any time.

Having travelled by plane to get to the clinic, I was able to fly back once the recommended 72hrs had passed and continued my healing comfortably from home.

When it came to have my stitches out, unfortunately there was a bit of an issue with the practitioner at my GP not feeling confident in their ability to remove the sutures as they hadn’t done this before. Within a few short minutes of contacting the team at the clinic, I had Dr D’Souza on the phone offering to speak to the practitioner and answer any questions they had.

Following on from that, my practitioner of choice actually left some sutures in my scalp which I had only noticed after a week had passed. Again, upon contacting the team at the D’Souza Clinic for guidance, they had kindly offered to see me that very same day to remove these and just offered a tremendous amount of support.

I am now three weeks out and am thrilled already with my new hairline. I really cannot recommend this enough, it has really increased my confidence already so I can imagine that this only will improve with time.

After much research, I had a Hair transplant in March 22 under the care of Mr D'Souza and his team. I highly recommend Mr D'Souza for his professionalism, attention to detail and care throughout the process. Right from the initial consultation he tailors his advice to the patient and has an open and honest dialogue with consideration of patients needs. Many clinics have a conveyor belt approach to these procedures but a lot of the detail before, during and after the procedure is critical in successful outcomes and Mr D'Souza and his team certainly make sure their process and approach reflects the care and attention needed. As someone with a healthcare background myself, i know how important this is. I would like to thank Mr D'Souza for his care and answering all my questions so diligently throughout the process.

Perfect treatment and experience. From consultation to procedure I felt completely at ease and Chris advised and talked me through everything step by step. The procedure went very smoothly, headphones in and pretty much zoned out the whole time. I knew I could trust Chris and the process. Very happy with how it looked and is looking. After care was all explained and Chris is available to contact with any questions any time. Jess the assistant was 10/10 aswell. Couldnt recommend enough.

First of all, Chris is a good person. I did the rounds with 13 clinics for my procedure and I felt Chris was the only person I could actually imagine trusting to do something to my head/appearance. I valued his openness, authenticity and expertise to help answer the questions I had. He helped me really understand the process, choices and potential outcomes for an FUE procedure where we were seeking to recover extensive hair loss. The results have been great - procedure itself went well, pretty painless and the team were fantastic. I had two procedures in the end because the first was so successful I was able to have a second FUE to cover the crown of my scalp as well. Chris’ support afterwards has been first rate - he is always on hand to answer a text or give a bit of advice if you are unsure of anything. He has good judgement and discretion and listens to what you want to achieve and guides the best way to get there. I also appreciated no selling approach, it always felt like my call to go ahead and the pricing was good overall in the market. Genuinely pleased and would highly recommend. I saw all the clinics and Chris was, as I said, the only one who gave me the clarity and the assurance for what we were going to do and the results have been beyond my expectations. Really pleased I did it and really pleased I picked Chris.

I certainly echo what the other reviewers have said. Chris and his team are absolutely fantastic and they did everything they could to ensure that I was comfortable during my procedure. When I met Chris for the initial consultation I was impressed by his thorough knowledge and he took the time to explain everything to me and what would work best. For me the day went very quickly and the whole team are very friendly and efficient, and they make a great cup of tea as well :) If you are considering hair restoration surgery then put Chris at the top of your list. I only my procedure done a few days ago but I am looking forward to seeing the results as the year goes on and the team have done a great job with around 2,600 grafts.

One of the reasons I picked Dr Chris' clinic over others was that the clinic has his own name on the door, instead of a generic name. I understood that as someone how trusts his own work and is committed to building his reputation of excellence. And indeed I can confirm that he is an outstanding professional.

I had my FUE procedure in October 2021. The whole procedure went well and the time passed by quickly thanks to Netflix, the snacks offered and the friendly chat with Dr Chris and his team. They explained each step they were doing and what to expect, helping me to relax during the procedure.

In the post-procedure period, I had some questions and Dr Chris was very responsive and attentive answering my questions over the phone and checking in with me if everything was going well. So far it has been six weeks since the procedure and the progress has been exactly as he explained, and there has been no complications.

After extensive research and having spoken to 4 of the most well-regarded clinics in London, I chose the D'Souza clinic and have not been disappointed. From the first consultation to the procedure itself, to the post-op reviews, Dr. D'Souza and his team have been incredibly professional, meticulous, and kind. So far I have been very happy with the results of the FUE, which is always led by Dr. D'Souza himself, as well as the SMP sessions with Jessica. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had my FUE treatment one week ago and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Chris and the team.
