I had a hair transplant at this clinic back in October 2024 however, TrustPilot will only let me go back to November 2024. I waited 1 year to write this review. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The grafts were placed very unevenly, resulting in patchy and unnatural growth. The hairline also looks harsh and artificial, with no natural shape or blending.

Even more concerning, it appears the surgeon may have hit a nerve during the procedure. Since then, I’ve experienced a flickering or tingling sensation on the top of my head whenever the left side is touched. This has been very distressing and uncomfortable, and it raises serious questions about the clinic’s surgical care and precision.

I have been left with unsatisfactory results and a worrying complication. When I raised these issues, the clinic’s response was dismissive and unhelpful.

I would of added a picture of my result but unfortunately TrustPilot does not have this option. I have added a picture on Google review so people can see the results for themselves and make their own judgment before deciding. I truly regret choosing this clinic and would advise anyone considering a hair transplant here to proceed with extreme caution.

I had a hair transplant with RWC just under a week ago, and I must say the treatment, the price, the advice, support, guidance and aftercare from Dr Shaan & his team has been top class. From having the initial consultation back in April & being briefed thoroughly with information on all aspects of a hair transplant , I went into the transplant not having any concerns about what I was getting myself into. This is a clinic & a team that ACTUALLY care about there clients & there results not just eager to take your money & forget about you once your surgery has finished with them.
I will definitely recommend to family or friends about RWC who also offer a vast range of different treatments because the attention to detail professionalism & how they operate is 10/10!!

The team at Royal Wharf Clinic have been fantastic. Dr Shaan was open and transparent about my procedure and what I had to expect. Prep for the op and post op actions were made very clear, and a nice post op kit was provided. The team also gave me follow up calls to see how I was recovering.

Where do I start. Hard to believe that their is such an affordable Hair Transplant Specialist based in London. All you hear is Turkey, this and Turkey that when it comes to hair transplants. I contacted numerous places in Turkey, Hungary, Poland, Spain, and Portugal, including my own country, Ireland.

Then I thought there had to be a place in London because it's such a busy city, and I was right. I contacted Dr. Shaan and I had a video call and discussed my options, set a date, paid a deposit, and flew from Dublin, all in the space of 4 weeks and for less money and less travel.

The treatment and customer service from this company is unbelievable. My wife came with me and spent the best part of the day in the clinic and was also given exceptional treatment by the staff.

The staff that looked after me were Dr Shaan, Phanindra, and Goldie. Milda took great care of my wife. Lorena was in regular contact with me along the way. I also met the MD Suheb. This company has a great team behind it.

Today me and my friend embarked on our new life with our new hair! From the start of our journey dr Shann and his team were nothing but professional caring and attentive. We were welcomed with refreshments before lining out our hair and starting the procedure. After the first 2 stages we had some lunch of our choice provided by the clinic and after that we completed the final part of the transplant. Thanks to Dr Shann and the his team we felt really at ease throughout the whole day. And results looked amazing!. we cannot wait to see the full transition in the next 3 to 12 months. After much deliberation, I finally decided to proceed with a hair transplant. Like many, I was hesitant due to the inability to see the clinic or meet the doctor beforehand without traveling to places like Turkey, where the prices are competitive but often come with concerns about the flight back, pressure on the scalp, aftercare, and time constraints. Additionally, I wanted to ensure the clinic used the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method, which is known for its precision and natural results.

Instead of traveling abroad, I started researching clinics in London. Thankfully, I discovered Royal Wharf Clinic, which stood out due to its ideal location, excellent transport links, and reputation for professionalism. Situated next to London City Airport and with DLR connections, the accessibility was a bonus. As I live in Ilford, the clinic even arranged an Uber service to collect me from home and drop me back afterward, which was incredibly convenient.

Consultation with Dr. Shaan:

The consultation process was thorough and reassuring. Dr. Shaan, along with his experienced technicians, took the time to address all my concerns. He explained every step of the procedure in detail, including how many grafts I would need, the design of my new hairline, and the expected outcomes. My main goal was to achieve a natural result that suited my age and facial structure. Dr. Shaan’s patience, expertise, and transparency gave me the confidence to move forward.

He also provided detailed information about the clinic’s industry-leading hygiene standards, state-of-the-art equipment, and the comprehensive package they offer. This package included:
• The hair transplant procedure.
• Aftercare appointments.
• Car service (home pickup and drop-off).
• IV infusion, biotin supplements, and PRP injections to support hair growth.

Preparing for the Procedure:

Two days before the procedure, I visited the clinic for my IV infusion. The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring I was comfortable throughout. I was also booked in for four aftercare appointments and given clear instructions on what to wear and bring on the day of the procedure.

The Procedure Day:

The clinic provided a relaxed environment with modern amenities, including a TV screen that allowed me to connect my own devices and watch downloaded shows or movies during the procedure. Since the process takes a full day, I appreciated being able to take toilet and snack breaks. The clinic also provided a fresh and tasty lunch, which was a thoughtful touch.

Post-Procedure Experience:

Everything is going smoothly. The clinic’s aftercare has been fantastic, I’m already seeing improvement and I feel confident about the continued results to come.

Big shout out to Dr Shaan, a GP, is administering treatment meaning any patient is in safe hands. An excellent doctor who goes out of his way to explain all the procedure in details & put me at ease as I never received one of the treatments before. Had an immediate relief to my painful bruxism muscle aches that was triggering headaches. Very grateful for his generous time, care and professional service. Highly recommended. Rest assured, you will return just as I will for follow ups/ maintenance.

I have had lip fillers and face fillers, Botox. Am currently having radio frequency all staff are lovely, clinic is spotless. Dr Shan is very patient as I’m a bit of a baby when it comes to injections. Keep up the good work guys. Highly recommended

I saw Darren for my consultation in May and a couple of times before then. Such a lovely and professional lovely man. My therapist is Milda who is lovely as well and iam seeing a massive difference in my skin. I have been having melasma and pigmentation treatments since June. I wanted to wait for a bit before I post my review. The difference in my skin tone and overall health is amazing and I am only halfway through my treatments. Worth the money!!!

I regularly see Dr. Shaan Mahmood for GON block injections, and every-time l visit l get excellent and first class service.

The environment is very clean, professional and Dr. Mahmood’s clinic is always up to date with the latest treatments and technology.

The only reasons I am giving 2* and not 1* is because of the most amazing staff. The girls, working at the clinic, were professional and absolutely lovely. Yet, after spending over £1,200 for a 4 session Axion tummy skin tightening and fat reduction treatment I had zero improvement. I have literally 1 cm of fat and a bit of loose skin, exercise 1-3 hours daily, eat clean and don’t drink. I was advised that it would solve my minor issue. Not only that it did not improve, it literally had no effect whatsoever. After spending £1,200 I feel absolutely scammed. Appalling
