For anyone buying a vehicle stay clear of this car company they are truly terrible and will leave you in thousands of pounds in debt and not offer any support.

I purchased a vehicle and was disabled at the point of sale and on crutches buying from The Car Co, Bury who part of the scam with CA AUTO FINANCE, I was forced into purchasing a Tesla Model 3 and now I am over £5000 in negative equity as both CA Auto Finance and The Car Co carried over thousands without my consent and added it to the Tesla, it was only later that I realized and The Car Co didn't want to know and CA Finance also refused to help on many occasions I tried asking for help.

I traded my Mercedes A200 and they gave my a price they changed it and carried over the difference and then made a huge profit on my Mercedes which sold very quickly.

I reached out to the CEO of CA Auto Finance who simply ignored all of my emails and when I did get a reply it was from customer service stating that there is nothing they can do to help and that I will not be able to terminate the agreement or hand the car back unless I asked The Car Co to take the car back,

I am now in a car I cant change or get out of due to the huge amount that was carried over without my consent, these will dk the same to you so do yourself and your bank balance a huge favor and avoid at all costs,

If either The Car Co or CA Finance do the right thing and resolve this I will not be changing my reviews across all social media as it stands.

PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF BOTH THIS DEALERSHIP AND CA AUTO FINANCE COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND LEAVE YOU IN THOUSANDS OF DEBT AND CHANGE THE AGREEMENT AFTER YOU HAVE ACCEPTED TERMS

CarCo Bury Review – Avoid at All Costs!

I bought an Audi A4 Avant (KW18 EPL) from CarCo Bury at the beginning of May. Within the first week, the car developed a noise from the steering.

I booked it in for inspection (with confirmation by email), but when I arrived, they claimed I wasn’t booked in. Eventually, they agreed to “squeeze me in.” Ten minutes later, my car was handed back with “no faults found.” On checking my dashcam, I saw they simply lifted it on the ramp, lowered it two minutes later, and drove it back out. No inspection was actually done. A 3-hour round trip completely wasted.

After heated phone calls and showing them the footage, they agreed to pay for a local garage to diagnose the issue. That garage confirmed the steering rack was faulty. I rebooked with CarCo to have it replaced, dropped the car off, and made my way home by bus/train/walking, expecting the car to be with them for a few days. Just 3 hours later, I got a call saying “nothing was wrong.”

After more arguments, they finally agreed to let Audi check the car. Audi performed a full health check and confirmed the same diagnosis: the steering rack needed replacing.

Two weeks later, I dropped the car off again. No courtesy car was available, despite me requesting one, and I was given a rough trade-in vehicle instead. While waiting, I overheard the mechanic ask where the steering rack was. The response? “It’s in my back pocket.” In other words, it hadn’t even been ordered.

After two weeks of being fobbed off with excuses and “they’re on with it,” I collected the car to find they’d supposedly fitted a reconditioned steering rack and replaced two suspension arms. Within a mile of driving away, the same noise was still there. I took it straight back to the independent garage, who confirmed the steering rack hadn’t been touched — not replaced, not reconditioned, not even cleaned.

When I confronted CarCo again, the manager changed his story, admitting they hadn’t actually replaced the steering rack, despite giving me paperwork saying they had. Both Audi and the independent garage had confirmed this was the issue, yet they still lied.

Eventually, they offered to buy the car back, but £1,000 less than what I’d paid just weeks earlier. I had no choice but to accept, as I’d completely lost trust in them. To add insult to injury, the same car is now back up for sale — with the steering issue still unresolved — ready to be passed on to the next unsuspecting customer
